William Cauthen
ROCK HILL - Mr. William Earle Cauthen, 82, of 1319 Mount Gallant Road died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at home.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Union ARP Church cemetery in Richburg, with the Dr. Tom Patterson officiating.
A native of Richburg, Mr. Cauthen was a son of the late Durham A. Cauthen and Alma McFadden Cauthen. He was retired from Hoechst-Celanese Corp. A member of Woodhaven Baptist Church, he was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mozelle Brakefield Cauthen; two sons, William Earle "Buck" Cauthen Jr. of North Wilkesboro, N.C., and Bruce Edwin Cauthen of Rock Hill; his sister, Mary Elizabeth Hamilton of Chester; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at home.

CLOVER - Mr. David Louis Dixon, 48, of 2435 Wavy Oak Road died Friday, June 15, 2001.
A native of York County, Mr. Dixon was a son of the late J.C. Dixon and Carrie Sims Dixon.

FORT MILL - Mrs. Ruth Henry Hartsock, 88, of 1995 Telephone St. died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Mercy South Hospital in Pineville, N.C.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Memorial Park, with the Rev. William P. Shytle.
A native of Fayette County, Pa., Mrs. Hartsock was a daughter of the late William Henry and Gertrude Henry. She was the widow of Robert Hartsock. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her son, Bobby Hartsock of Rock Hill; her daughter, Brenda Burkolovich of Fayette City, Pa.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, including Wanda Taylor Becker, her caregiver.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel and at other times at home.
Horace Parker
BLACKSBURG - Mr. Horace Junior "Bill" Parker, 79, of 209 Bolton-Parker Road died Saturday, June 16, 2001.
A graveside service will be 4 p.m. today at Clingman Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Marshall Foster officiating.
A native of Cherokee County, Mr. Parker was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace Parker. He was the widower of Mozelle Towery Parker.
Surviving are his son, Roger Dale Parker of York; two daughters, Sonia P. Broome and Dixie Parker, both of Blacksburg; three sisters, Babbs Puzzert and Joan Simmons, both of Gaffney, and Judy Martin of Cliffside, N.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Debra Marshall
ROCK HILL - Ms. Debra Joanne Marshall of 372 Friedhiem Road died Friday, June 15, 2001, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God, with Pastor Walter A. Clark officiating. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park.
A native of York County, Ms. Marshall was a daughter of Mary H. Marshall and the late Joe A. Marshall Sr. She attended York County public schools and was a graduate of Northwestern High School. She attended Charleston Southern University. She was a member of First Assembly of God. She was secretary of the Sunday school and was sectional representative and treasurer of the Missionettes. She was an Honor Sponsor and was a soloist. She was a cash office administrator for T.J. Maxx, with 141/2 of years service.
Surviving in addition to her mother are three brothers, James C. Brown and Joe A. Marshall Jr., both of Rock Hill and Ernest E. Marshall of Charlotte; her sister, Beverly M. Harrison of Rock Hill; her paternal grandmother, Laura B. Marshall of Rock Hill; and her maternal grandfather, Jimmy Miller of Bridgeport, Conn.
The family will receive friends at home.
The body may be viewed from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home.
The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Minnie Ruffin
BLACKSTOCK - Mrs. Minnie Pernell Mobley Ruffin, 90, of Magnolia Manor, Rock Hill, formerly of 3070 Cork Road, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Magnolia Manor.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Tabor Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. W.T. Holmes officiating.
A native of Blackstock, Mrs. Ruffin was a daughter of the late Ruben Mobley and Sarah Cork Mobley. She was the widow of John Ruffin. She was a retired librarian at Harlem School of Nursing. She attended Russell School in Blackstock and Hanes Institute in Augusta, Ga. She received her master's degrees from Columbia University and Vermont University. She taught school at Blacksville School. She was a member of Mount Tabor Presbyterian Church and attended St. Augustine Presbyterian Church while living in New York.
Surviving are her sister, Marie Mobley Gladden of Blackstock; and her niece and caregiver, Sarah Long of the home.
The family will receive friends at her sister's home, 3080 Cork Road.

Robert Love Jr.
SPARTANBURG - Mr. Robert Emmett "Bob" Love Jr., 80, of 312 Essex Ridge Court, died Friday, June 15, 2001, at Mary Black Hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. today at Mount Calvary Presbyterian Church in Roebuck.
A native of Clover, Mr. Love was a son of the late Robert Emmett and Emma Sledge Love. He was the widower of Norma Keels Humphries Love. He was a graduate of Davidson College and served as a food stamp supervisor for the Oconee County Department of Social Services until his retirement. He was a member of Mount Calvary Presbyterian Church and a former member and ruling elder of Walhalla Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Walhalla Volunteer Fire Department, Rotary International and the Alpine Masonic Lodge in Clover. He was a member of the Keowee-Toxaway Amateur Radio Club.
Surviving are his son, Robert Maxwell Love of Simpsonville; his daughter, Sue Love Boulware of Rock Hill; and three grandchildren.

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib Fee" White, 76, of 604 Green St. died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Catawba, with the Rev. Ray Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
A native of York County, Mrs. White was a daughter of the late Leroy Fee and Mary Kirkland Fee. She attended York County public schools and was a retired cook at Springs Industries in Fort Mill. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, where she served on the missionary board.
Surviving are four sons, Donald White, Ronnie O. White, Bruce M. White and Paul White, all of Rock Hill; five daughters, Patricia A. White, Gwendolyn W. Watson, Edith D. White and Janice Gail White, all of Rock Hill, and Carolyn W. Adams of Charlotte; her brother, Ulysses Fee of Baltimore; 29 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and her longtime companion, Lincoln Jaggers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Clemons Funeral Home.
The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
