CHESTER - Mr. Earl Robert Wilson, 45, of 2147 Baton Rouge Road died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at King's Funeral Home with the Rev. James Hope officiating. Burial will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery.
A native of Verdun, France, Mr. Wilson was a son of Louise Bailey Wilson and the late Earl Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was formerly a member of St. Clement Church in Ozone Park and Our Lady of Lourdes Melverne in Long Island, N.Y. He attended the public schools of Melverne School District, Melverne, N.Y., and Nassau Community College in Garden City, N.Y. He attended New York State University at Stony Brook Long Island. He was a licensed practical nurse. He worked at Rockville Centre Nursing Center in Rockville Centre, N.Y.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his brother, Richard Alan Wilson of Raleigh, N.C.; two sisters, Rene Blackman and Lisa Brown, both of Hempstead, N.Y.; and his maternal grandmother, Hattie Elam Bailey of Chester.
The family will receive friends at home.
The body may be viewed from 1 to 9 tonight and from 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service at King's Funeral Home.
Manuel Jimenez
LANDO - Mr. Manuel "Jim/Turk" Jimenez, 48, of 3711 Lando Road died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Greene Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, with Father William Pentis officiating.
A native of Los Angeles, Mr. Jimenez was a son of Josefa Martinez Zaragoza and the late Esau M. Jimenez Sr. He was a Marine Corps. veteran. He was of the Catholic faith. He owned B & J Masonry. He worked for Val Verde Unified School District in Morneo Valley, Calif., and McDonald Amusement of Lancaster.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Cindy Langley Jimenez; his son, Frank Jimenez of Edgemoor; two daughters, Joy Jimenez of Lando and Michelle Mendoza of Long Beach, Calif.; his brother, Steve Jimenez of Perris, Calif.; two sisters, Sylvia Kolbatz and Jeanette Jimenez, both of Perris; his stepmother, Marie Jimenez of Perris; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, and other times at the home of Bob and Barbara Langley, 3663 Edgeland Road, Richburg.
Goldie Moore
MIAMI - Mrs. Goldie Marlowe Moore, 62, of Miami, formerly of Rock Hill, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, in Miami.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Friendfield Presbyterian Church in Georgetown. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
Born in Charleston, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of Hilda Marlowe. She was the widow of the Rev. Jimmy Moore. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, Jeff Moore of Midway, Tenn; her daughter, Rhonda Blackwood of Miami; two brothers, Jimmy Marlowe and George Marlowe; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Graham Funeral Home in Georgetown.

Sterling Boler
ROCK HILL - Mr. Sterling Boler of 507 Hampton St. died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at Tanglewood Health Care Center in Ridgeway.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pineville AME Zion Church, with the Rev. Eugene Goodwin officiating and the Rev. Mary L. Adams assisting. Burial will be at Barber Memorial Cemetery.
A native of Union County, Mr. Boler was a son of the late Willie Gettys and Lillie Boler Gettys. He was the widower of Anna L. Gettys Boler. He was a member of Pineville AME Zion Church. He was a member of the AP&B Society. He attended the public schools of York County.
Surviving are three sons, Walter Steele Jr. of Rock Hill, Joe Gettys of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Anthony Boler of York; his daughter, Pearlie M. Logan of Clover; his brother, Omar Gettys of Rock Hill; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at home.

Cora Tidwell
DETROIT - Miss Cora Ann Tidwell, 56, formerly of Richburg, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Richburg, with the Rev. Benjamin Murdock officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Chester County, Miss Tidwell was a daughter of the late Joe W. Tidwell Sr. and Mary Caldwell Tidwell. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She attended the schools of Chester County. She graduated from Finley High School. She was a former LPN at Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Surviving are her daughter, Antonette Lottie Tidwell of Michigan; three brothers, Robert Tidwell of New Jersey, Joe Tidwell Jr. of Fort Lawn and James Lewis of Great Falls; 11 sisters, Lottie Brown, Henrietta Bowler, Laura Tidwell and Elizabeth Johnson, all of Chester, Louise Lewis and Lois Lewis, both of Great Falls, Mary L. Culp of Richburg, Maggie B. Shaw and Katherine Tidwell, both of Detroit, Elsie Jefferson of Louisiana and Sarah Cousar of New York; her stepmother, Lena C. Tidwell of Richburg; her stepsister, Annette Patrick of New York; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of Sam and Lottie T. Brown, 117 Harris St., Chester, S.C.
The body may be viewed from 9 a.m. to noon today.
The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. today.

FORT MILL - Mrs. Margaret Bridges Knight, 74, of 2270 Sunset Circle died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, with the Revs. Ralph Riley and Jeff Bedwell officiating.
A native of Charlotte, Mrs. Knight was a daughter of the late John Mon-roe Bridges and Hester Lee Doster. She was the widow of Linard J. Knight. She was a retired operating and maintenance specialist and was a volunteer at Mercy South Hospital. She was the former president of the Fort Mill Garden Club. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Mill.
Surviving are her son, Kenneth L. Knight of Charlotte; two daughters, Karen K. Anderson and Kelly Niven, both of Lancaster; three brothers, John Bridges of Cliffside, N.C., Clyde Bridges of Charlotte and James Bridges of Centerville, Texas; three sisters, Evelyn Idol of Sanford, N.C., Betty Mitchell of Charleston and Hazel Wiggins of Harrisburg, N.C.; five grandchildren; and her greatgrandson.

HICKORY GROVE - Mrs. Sarah Langley Preslar, 72, of 1295 Smithwood Lane died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at home.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Saturday at Revival Tabernacle Church in Mount Holly, N.C., with John Mayberry officiating.
A native of Mount Holly, Mrs. Preslar was a daughter of William H. Poteat and Maudie Langley Packer. She was the widow of Warren J. Preslar. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Revival Tabernacle Church in Mount Holly.
Surviving are three sons, David Warren Preslar of Mount Holly, Danny Ray Preslar of Lucia, N.C., and Larry John Preslar of Denver, N.C.; two daughters, Teresa Whaley of Hickory Grove and Peggy Baker of Gastonia, N.C.; two brothers, Lennie D. Packer of Germany and Neal Packer of Stanley, N.C.; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

ROCK HILL - Mr. Danny Ray Kennington, 49, of 1625 Oak Court died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Kennington was a son of Mildred Bailey Kennington and the late James C. Kennington. He was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his son, Derrick G. Kennington of Blacksburg; his brother, James Roger Kennington of Rock Hill; and three sisters, Carolyn Croxton of Ruby and Cathy Rockett and Jennie McCorkle, both of Fort Mill.

BALTIMORE - Mrs. Nancy Lee Buckson Ball, 74, formerly of Chester died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, in Baltimore.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. today at Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Z. Bailey officiating.
A native of Fairfield County, Mrs. Ball was a daughter of the late Wade Buckson Sr. and Rachael Kinsler Buckson. She was the widow of Herbert Ball Sr. She attended Finley High School in Chester and Barber College. She was retired from Greater Baltimore Medical Center. She was a member of Wildwood Parkway United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, James W. Buckson of Baltimore; two daughters, Flora Buckson and Irinta Ball Pack, both of Baltimore; three brothers, Samuel Buckson Sr., Willie Buckson and James Buckson, all of Baltimore; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

HICKORY GROVE - Mr. John Wilbur Brittain, 84, of 1588 Martin Road died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at Broad River Baptist Church in Smyrna. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Cleveland County, Mr. Brittain was a son of the late Cain Brittain and Sally Costner Brittain. He was the widower of Annie Pearl Mellon Brittain. He was a retired self-employed farmer and a member of Broad River Baptist Church in Smyrna.
Surviving are his son, Michael Brittain of the home; two daughters, Sarah Ann Tippin of Hickory Grove and Billie Renee McSwain of Kings Mountain, N.C.; two sisters, Marie Sue McSwain of Lincolnton, N.C., and Annie Mae Mellon of Cherryville, N.C.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Gordon Mortuary and other times at the home.
The body will lie in state for 30 minutes before the funeral.
Robert Nance Jr.
GASTONIA, N.C. - Mr. Robert "Junior" Nance Jr., 59, of 1210 Sunshine St. died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. David Dunlap officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of York, Mr. Nance was a son of the late Robert Nance and Jessie Mae Castle Nance. He was a retired moulder for Dixie Steel Foundry Mfg. in Gastonia, where he worked for 29 years. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church in Sharon, where he was a former usher.
Surviving are his wife, Everlene L. Nance; his son, Quantarius Nance of the home; three daughters, Angela Nance and Carolyn Nance Garvin, both of York, and Lillian Nance of Gastonia; his brother, Reuben Nance of Clover; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 7:30 tonight at Wright Funeral Home in York and other times at the home of his daughter, Angela Nance, 106 By-Pass, York, SC.
