Ralph Napolillo
ROCK HILL - Mr. Ralph Napolillo Jr., 73, of 3457 Goodplace Road died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral Mass will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Saint Anne Catholic Church, with Father Joe Pierce officiating. Burial will be at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
A native of Riversville, W.Va., Mr. Napolillo was a son of the late Ralph Napolillo Sr. and Maria Musglusso Napolillo. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and was a retired commercial fisherman. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lu Putnam Napolillo; two daughters, Marja Soto of Long Beach,
Calif., and Ralphie Wetmore of Grimesland, N.C.; two sisters, Antionette Konya of Miami and Mildred Gabriel of Portland, Ore.; two granddaughters; and his great-granddaughter.
The rosary service will be 7 tonight at Greene Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel. The family will receive friends after the rosary until 8:30 p.m. and after the funeral services at home.
Charles Porter Sr.
LANCASTER - Mr. Charles Simpson Porter Sr., 86, of 1498 Lynwood Drive died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, at Springs Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Mahaffey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Terry R. Cobb officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.
A native of Chester County, Mr. Porter was a son of the late Samuel McLean Porter and Eva Phillips Porter. He was the widower of Lillian Lloyd Porter. He was a retired sales manager for Pepsi. He was a World War II veteran who served with the 37th infantry in the Philippines. He played football for Chester High School in 1933.
Surviving are his son, Charles S. Porter Jr. of Columbia; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. today at Mahaffey Funeral Home.

Fannie Gaither
GREAT FALLS - Mrs. Fannie Mae Gaither of 38 Nickey Road died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster.

James Hannah
ALBEMARLE, N.C. - Mr. James Harley Hannah, 77, of 606 Bethany Road died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hartsell Funeral Home Lefler Memorial, with the Rev. David Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, N.C.
A native of Chesterfield County, Mr. Hannah was a son of the late Boss Hannah and Nannie Teal Hannah. He was a retired kiln operator at Carolina Solite Corp.
Surviving are his wife, Alma Mae Bagwell Hannah of Albemarle; his son, James Vernon Hannah of Sanford, N.C.; three daughters, Paulette H. Ford of Sanford, and Pamela H. Burleyson and Debra H. Faulkner, both of Albemarle; three brothers, Bobby Hannah, Thomas Hannah and Zeb Hannah, all of Lancaster; three sisters, Annie Bell H. Brock of Fort Mill, Beatrice H. Brock of Gaffney and Betty H. Kimrey of Norwood, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Pamela Burleyson, 606 Bethany Road.

BURLINGTON, N.C. - Mrs. Madge Mickle Huffman Purser, 90, of Twin Lakes Center died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, at Twin Lakes Center.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington, N.C., with the Revs. Tim Robinson and Dan Bartel officiating. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia, N.C.
Mrs. Purser was a daughter of the late George Fleming Mickle and Sallie Ligon Mickle. She was the widow of William Howard Taft Huffman and Arthur Lee Purser. She was a retired owner and operator of Huffman's Steak House & Trailer Park in Charlotte. She was a member of Big Springs United Methodist Church in Charlotte.
Surviving are her son, William Howard Huffman of Burlington; her sister, Jeanette Mickle McCarter of Rock Hill; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

FORT MILL - Mrs. Sandra Jean Ford, 61, of 845 Westwind Lane died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at home.

Ohio, Mrs. Ford was a daughter of the late Richard Thurston Forgy and Ester Marie Forgy. She was a homemaker and an avid horsewoman.

Ohio; and 14 grandchildren, including Robert B. Ross of the home.

A native of Great Falls, Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Annie Mae Osburne Harris. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

ROCK HILL - Tyler Gene Moore, 11, of 336 Hickory Oak Lane died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Wooten officiating. The burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
A native of Akron,
Ohio, he was a son of David L. Rogers and Rose Moore Rogers. He was a member of Garden Sanctuary Church of God. He was a fifth-grader at Belleview Elementary School, where he loved to study science.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his maternal grandmother, Ruth Moore of Akron; and his paternal grandparents, Howard Rogers and Wiburta Rogers, both of Akron.

Barry Robertson
ST. JAMES, N.C. - Mr. Barry Ford Robertson, 58, of 3315 Sparkleberry Court, formerly of Charlotte, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at Dosher Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Peacock-Newnam Funeral Home in Southport, N.C., with the Rev. Ralph Bright officiating. A second service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Barron Funeral Home in Chester. Burial will be at Chester Memorial Park.
A native of Lancaster, Mr. Robert-son was a son of the late Charles Ford Robertson and Geraldine Rowell Robertson. He was a retired area director at Symbol Technologies.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Nita Grant Robertson; two sons, B. Ford Robertson of Raleigh, N.C., and Bradley Grant Robertson of Charlotte; his brother, Charles Douglas Robertson of Lancaster; his sister, Donna R. Burton of Asheville, N.C.; his stepmother, Faye Robertson of Lancaster; and his granddaughter.

A native of Blackstock, Mrs. Sterling was a daughter of the late John James and Anna Bigham McDaniel. She was the widow of Thomas Andrew Sterling.
Surviving are her sister, Sue Jean McIntyre of Marion.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Mrs. Carolyn Sue Raley Gardner of Panama City, formerly of Kershaw, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, in Panama City.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Archie Neal officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Surviving are her son, Gary Gardner; her brother, Charles Raley of Jefferson; two sisters, Margaret Knight Rowell of Lancaster and Glynn Todd of Panama City; and two grandchildren.
