Clifton Hearon
ROCK HILL - Mr. Clifton A. Hearon, 86, of 190 Willwood Circle died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at College Park Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Gary L. Hearon officiating and the Rev. Jerry Broughton assisting. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
A native of Cassatt, Mr. Hearon was a son of the late James C. Hearon and Gussie Williams Hearon. He was a member of College Park Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He worked in Highland Park Mills in Rock Hill and retired from Kendall Manufacturing in Edgefield.
Surviving are his wife, Adell Hollingsworth Hearon; five sons, Bob Hearon of Jacksonville, Fla., Harold Hearon of Angelton, Texas, Dr. Gary L. Hearon of Dallas, Gerald D. Hearon of Myrtle Beach and Barry Hearon of Oakdale, Calif.; two daughters, Audrey H. Schwab of Rock Hill and Linda Adams of Byron, Ga.; his brother, Jimmy Hearon of Clinton, Md.; six sisters, Gertrude Green of Rock Hill, Ann Hearon of Boca Raton, Fla., Sally Burwell of Deland, Fla., Laura Grumbly of Miramar, Fla., Doris Strozier of Salt Lake City and Emily Elmore of Yauapai, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; and five great - grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel and other times at the home of Audrey Schwab, 175 Willwood Circle, Rock Hill.

Bobby Jackson
ROCK HILL - Mr. Bobby Franklin Jackson, 64, of 2296 Veery Lane died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Clover, with the Rev. Dave Stanford officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
A native of Gaston County, N.C., Mr. Jackson was a son of the late Andrew Orr Jackson and Mamie Gladys Coleman Jackson. He was a member of Clover First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, Sunday school teacher, R.A. leader, Brotherhood Director and executive board member of the York Baptist Association and various committees. Mr. Jackson retired after 26 years from Westinghouse of Charlotte. A charter member of the Clover Jaycees and member of Masonic Lodge No. 208, he was retired from the Air National Guard after 26 years.
Surviving are his wife, Yvonne Hurst Jackson; two daughters, Sandra J. Bailey of York and Donna J. Murr of Fort Mill; two brothers, Donald R. Jackson and Danny O. Jackson, both of Clover; two sisters, Brenda J. Weaver of Stanley, N.C., and Mary Lou J. Bolin of Clover; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at M.L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home and other times at the home.

Brenda Ballard
CLINTON - "Ms. Brenda Elizabeth Ballard, 58, of Whitten Center died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Whitten Center Hospital.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lancaster Memorial Park in Lancaster.
A native of York County, Ms. Ballard was a daughter of the late James Wesley Ballard Sr. and Margaret Sanders Ballard.
Surviving are three sisters, Deloris Hindman of Fort Lawn and Judy Simpson and Cindy Hilley, both of Lancaster.

W. Mark Dutton
LANCASTER - Mr. William Mark Dutton, 36, of 2795 Cane Mill Road died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster chapel, with the Revs. John Rogers and Charlie Simmons officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.
A native of Charlotte, Mr. Dutton was a son of Wayne Dutton and Paulette Antley Dutton of Lancaster. He was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and worked for Wilkerson Enterprises in Rock Hill.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Sandra Bryson Dutton; his son, Jackie Collins of Lancaster; his daughter, Ashley Collins of Lancaster; his sister, Angela Rorie of Lancaster; and his maternal grandmother, Margie Antley of Lancaster.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster chapel, and other times at the home of Wayne and Paulette Dutton, 2524 Cane Mill Road in Lancaster.
Robert Funderburke II
LUGOFF - Mr. Robert Lee "Bobby" Funderburke II, 38, of Lugoff, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff - Elgin chapel, with the Rev. Frank Griffith officiating.
Born in Rock Hill, Mr. Funderburke was a son of Robert Lee "Bob" Funderburke of Rock Hill and Jean Overby Funderburke of Lugoff. He graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1980.
Surviving, in addition to his parents and stepmother, are his wife, Gayle Funderburke of Camden; his daughter, Kelly Leigh of Camden; and two sisters, Lisa K. Funderburke of Lugoff and Joy F. Blackwell of Columbia.

Isabel Conrad
CHESTER - Mrs. Isabel "Izzie" McDaniel Conrad, 91, formerly of 100 Culp St. Apt. 3 - E, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chester Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating.
A native of Chester County, Mrs. Conrad was a daughter of the late Luther McDaniel and Mary Bennett McDaniel. She was the widow of William "Bill" Lawrence Conrad.
Mrs. Conrad was a graduate of Chester High School, a member of Chester First Baptist Church and a clerk at Georgia's Dress Shop and Baker's Dress Shop.
Surviving are her daughter, Helen Deas of Rock Hill; her sister, Louise Danch of South Bend, Ind.; three grandsons; and two great - granddaughters.
The family will receive friends at Chester Memorial Gardens after the service.

Eugene Simpson
WAXHAW, N.C. - Mr. Eugene Simpson, 82, of Waxhaw, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Center Grove Freewill Church, with the Rev. Jason E. Hurt officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Midland, N.C., Mr. Simpson was a son of the late Cleveland Simpson and Mae Atkins Simpson. He was retired from the Rexham Corp. and was a veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Hunter Simpson; five daughters, Margaret Hefner and Mellany Belk, both of Waxhaw, Patricia Rogers of Laurel Springs, N.C., Lydia Young of Fort Mill and Cindy Simpson of Charlotte; his brother, Robert Norman of Fort Mill; two sisters, Pauline Little of Indian Land and Esther Dawkins of Stallings; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great - grandchildren.

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Lois Phillips Allen, 97, of 1330 India Hook Road died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000, at Westminster Health Care.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Laurelwood Cemetery, with Dr. William A. Fox officiating.
A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Allen was a daughter of the late Robert Phillips and Fannie Kennedy Phillips. She was the widow of William T. Allen. She was an avid artist and was a member of the York County Artist Guild. She was a retired registered nurse.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

FORT MILL - Mrs. Helen Potts Howard, 84, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
A native of Fort Mill, Mrs. Howard was a daughter of the late Van Dawson Potts and Amelia Knight Potts.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan Young Frank of Palatka, Fla.; two sisters, Amelia Graham of Fort Mill and Dora Townson Frank of Barstow, Calif.; four grandchildren; 10 great - grandchildren; and her great - great - grandchild.

LANCASTER - Mrs. Lorraine Hayes Kjendle, 69, of 2361 Doc Holliday Circle died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at Springs Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Mahaffey Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Della Sparks officiating. Entombment will be at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.
A native of Lancaster County, Mrs. Kjendle was a daughter of the late Roy O. Hayes and Lela Melton Hayes. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She retired from Springs Industries in the CSC Apparel Department.
Surviving are her son, Jeffrey Kjendle of Lancaster; her daughter, Lisa Kjendle Evans of Lancaster; her brother, Wade H. Hayes of Monroe, N.C.; and her grandson.

CHESTER - Mr. Edward Boot Peterson, 53, of 545 T - Mack Drive died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at Chester County Hospital.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. R.Z. Bailey officiating and the Rev. J.E. Darby assisting. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Chester County, Mr. Peterson was a son of the late Evelyn Peterson. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, Sunday school teacher, superintendent of Sunday school, assistant chairman of the deacon board, former church treasurer and president of CB&A Society. He graduated from Chester County public schools. He retired from Springs Industries, Katherine Plant in Chester.
Surviving are his uncle, Samuel Peterson of Fort Mill; and his aunt, Ella P. Lee Jordan of Winston - Salem, N.C.
The body will be viewed from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Kings Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester. The body will be taken to the church at noon Saturday.
Eric Roseborough
DENVER - Mr. Eric Andrew Stewart Roseborough, formerly of York, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at White Hill AME Zion Church in York, with the Rev. W.O. Thompson officiating.
Mr. Roseborough was a son of Joe Ann Starnes and the late Willie James Roseborough. He was a stepson of the late Samuel Starnes Jr. He attended St. Margaret Catholic High School and Morris County College in Morristown, N.J. He attended Colorado Institute in Denver. He was a post office manager in Denver
Surviving in addition to his mother are two brothers, Darrell J. Roseborough of Asheville, N.C., and Michael J. Roseborough of York; and his sister, Shontyia A. Starnes of York.
