ROCK HILL - Ms. Stacie Rohlfing, 33, of 2412 Josh's Court died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000 at 1410 Holland Road.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with Dr. Tommy Huddleston officiating. Burial will be at Catawba Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Rock Hill, Ms. Rohlfing was the daughter of Shirley Winn Hill and the late Richard B. Hill. She was an accounts receivables agent with Credit Systems Inc. in Pineville, N.C. She attended Northwestern High School, Simons School of Hair Design and York Technical College. She previously worked as a production assistant for Dillingham Graphics in Rock Hill, the Salvation Army and World Finance in Rock Hill. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her brother, Scott Hill of York; her sister, Rhonda Snipes Windell of Fort Mill; and her nephew, Cameron Hill of York.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel and other times at the home.

LANCASTER - Mrs. Mildred Brazell, 75, of 2602 Lyndell Way died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at Springs Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Revs. Terry Fowler, Ernest Steen and Reece Miles officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.
A native of Chesterfield, Mrs. Brazell was a daughter of the late Claude Kirkley and Elizabeth Knight Kirkley. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church where she was active in the women's ministry.
Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Thomas B. Brazell; two sons, the Rev. Allen T. Brazell and Randall C. Brazell, both of Lancaster; her daughter, Barbara A. Outen of Lancaster; her sister, Dorothy Mothershed of Lancaster; her brother, Morrison Kirkley of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Myrtle W. Clanton, 99, of 1262 Sullivan St. died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at Beverly Health Care.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Dr. Jerry K. Sosebee officiating. Burial will be at Laurelwood Cemetery.
A native of Lancaster County, Mrs. Clanton was a daughter of the late James Andrew and Azil Henrietta Truesdale Williams. She was the widow of Walter Clifton Clanton. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Ruth Neal of Lancaster, Vonetta Abraham of Charlotte and June Azile Covington of Rock Hill; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

CHESTER - Mr. Jack Eugene Pitts, 68, of 1243 Stringfellow Road died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Barron Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Stover officiating. Burial will be at Uriel Presbyterian Church cemetery.
A native of Nashville, Tenn., Mr. Pitts was a son of the late Wylie W. Pitts Sr. and Myrtle Etta Yount Pitts. He was a market manager for Winn-Dixie. He owned and operated Jack's Cut Rate. He graduated from Chester High School and attended
Tennessee schools. He was a member of Uriel Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his brother, Edward D. Pitts of Nashville; and his cousin, Audrey Ammons of the home.

A native of Chester County, Mr. Gaston was a son of the late John Holmes Gaston and Essie Maude Clark Gaston. He retired from Springs Industries and was an Army World War II veteran. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred C. Gaston; two sons, Jimmy Gaston of Richburg and R. Wayne Gaston of Chester; his daughter, Jane Carter of Richburg; three brothers, Oneal Gaston, Rothewell Gaston and Elmer Gaston, all of Chester; his sister, Dorothy Akers of Roanoke, Va.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

ROSWELL, Ga. - Mrs. Laurel Goss LeMay, 51, died Friday, July 28, 2000, at home.
The service will be private.
A native of Cook County, Ill., Mrs. LeMay was a daughter of the late Howard J. Goss and Alice R. Lawson Goss of Darien, Ill.
Surviving are two daughters, Juliet LeMay Johnston of Greenville, Miss., and Elizabeth "Beth" LeMay of Alpharetta, Ga.; two brothers, John L. Goss of Las Vegas and Howard J. Goss, Jr. of Chicago; her sister, MaryKay Ward of Lemont, Ill; and her grandson, Skylar Johnson.

GAFFNEY - Mrs. Vernal LaVoid Mobley Alexander, 76, of 518 W. Robinson St. died Wednesday, August 9, 2000, at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare Center in Spartanburg.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Dunton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jeanette Cooper Dicks and Dr. J.W. Sanders Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.
A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Alexander was a daughter of the late Ben Mobley and Louie Emma Laton Mobley.
In Rock Hill, she attended New Mount Olive AME Zion Church and graduated from Emmett Scott High School. She received a B.S. degree from
South Carolina State College and earned graduate credits at Cornell University in
New York,
South Carolina State College and Winthrop College.
Retired from Cherokee County school system after 40 years of teaching, Mrs. Alexander was a member of Dunton United Methodist Church, Spartanburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, United Methodist Women, Cherokee County Retired Teachers Association, Cherokee County Community Development committee, the Administrative Board, Pastor Parish Relations committee, the Arts Council and Meals on Wheels.
Surviving are her son, James Levi Alexander III; her daughter, Charlotte Richardson Dryden of Columbia, Md.; five sisters, Bennie Mobley Seawright and Carrie Jerome Mobley Hampton, both of Greenville, Fredine Mobley Sloan and Willie George Mobley White, both of Detroit and Gloria Mobley Brown of Rock Hill; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Dunton United Methodist Church. A private Omega, Omega memorial service will follow at 7:45 p.m. with family members and members of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority. Mrs. Alexander will lie in state in the church at 3 p.m. Monday.

YORK - Mrs. Ellen Wiley Biggers, 69, of 22 Wright Ave. died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randy Gardener officiating. Burial will be at the Wiley Mausoleum at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
A native of Elberton, Ga., Mrs. Biggers was a daughter of Gladys Horton Wiley of York and the late William Ralph Wiley Sr.
A homemaker, Mrs. Biggers was a member of First Baptist Church in York.
Surviving in addition to her mother are five sons, Wayne Biggers of Charleston, Brad Biggers of Rock Hill, Thad Biggers and Wiley Biggers, both of Kansas City, Kan., and Ed Biggers of Chesapeake Bay, Md.; her brother, W.R. "Bill" Wiley Jr. of Chester; and five grandchildren.

Donald Culp
ROCK HILL - Mr. Donald Dwight Culp, 53, of 1871 Dunlap Roddey Road died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at West End Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Lowery officiating and the Rev. Vivian Pressley assisting. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Culp was a son of Pansy Culp Ratterre and the late Johnny W. Culp. He was a former member of Moose Lodge and Fraternal Order of the Elks in Waynesburg, Pa. He was a member of West End Baptist Church, as well as a member and road captain of the Rock Hill Harley Motorcycle Owners Association.
Mr. Culp was a Vietnam veteran, serving 13 years in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving in addition to his mother are, his son, Donald D. Culp Jr. of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Deborah A. Schudes of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Karen M. Eder of Philadelphia; his brother, Joe Culp of Rock Hill; and three grandchildren.

A native of Chester County, Mr. Harrison was a son of the late Samuel Phillip Doster and Charlotte Cameron Doster. He retired from J.P. Stevens Co., and was a farmer. He was a member of Mitford Baptist Church. He attended schools in Chester County.
Surviving are his wife, Linda G. Doster; two sons, Kirby Godbee of Great Falls and Timothy Godbee of Blackstock; three daughters, Connie Caldwell of Lando, Charlotte Taylor of Great Falls and Mary Taylor of Blackstock; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

FORT MILL - Mr. Ralph Stanley McCarver, 51, of 1056 Dana Court died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at home.

A native of Charlotte, Mr. McCarver was a son of the late Glennell "Pete" McCarver and Helen Bass McCarver.
Mr. McCarver was a truck driver at Randolph Transportation in Rock Hill and was a member of Independent Bible Church in Charlotte. He was a Vietnam War U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Polly Boatwright McCarver of the home; his son, Dwayne Brandon of Richburg; his daughter, Pamela Smith of Chester; four brothers, Doug McCarver of Lancaster, Arnold McCarver and Terry McCarver, both of Pineville, and Jeremy McCarver of Fort Mill; his sister, Brandy McCarver of Waxhaw, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
