Marie Rainey
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Marie Allen Rainey, 91, of 1037 F. Glenarden Drive died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at Lancaster Convalescent Center in Lancaster.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at New Life Seventh Day Adventist Church, with the Pastor Elder Kenneth Boswell officiating, and the Revs. Marion Wilson and Arthur Randolph Jr. and Elders Clarence C. Kegler and Tyrone Richards assisting. Burial will be at Longbranch Baptist Church in Grover, N.C.
A native of Cherokee County, Mrs. Rainey was the daughter of the late Judge Allen and Sally Littlejohn Allen. She was member of New Life Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she was mother of the church, a deaconess and member of the New Hope Church Aide Society. Mrs. Rainey attended the public schools of Cherokee County. She was the widow of Ed Rainey.
Surviving are her daughter, Cedell Rainey Bell of Rock Hill; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rainey will be on view at Robinson Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The family will receive friends at the church at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Donnie Revis Jr.
LOCKHART - Mr. Donnie Melvin Revis, Jr., 17, of 2522 West End Road, Chester, died Monday, May 8, 2000, in Union County.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene in Chester, with the Rev. Gregg Keller officiating. Interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens.
A native of York County, Mr. Revis was the son of Donnie Melvin Revis Sr. and Darlene Johnson Revis. He attended York County schools.
Surviving in addition to his mother and father are his daughter, Brittany Revis of York; two brothers, Ronald Dean Pressley, Jr. and Joshua Tray Pressley, both of Chester; two sisters, Harley Pressley of Chester and Samantha Childers of York; his stepfather, Ronald Pressley of Chester; his paternal grandparents, Gerald Revis and Faye Revis of Sharon; his maternal grandfather, Edward Johnson of Union County; and his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Chapman of Union County.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Barron Funeral Home in Chester.
Ruby Snow
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Ruby C. Snow, 85, of 1330 India Hook Road died Monday, May 8, 2000, at home.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Westminster Presbyterian Church chapel, with the Revs. John Fastenau and William A. Fox officiating.
A native of New Britain, Conn., where she lived for 69 years, Mrs. Snow was a daughter of the late August Olson and Elin Olson. She was the widow of Paul. R. Carlson. She attended New Britain schools and graduated as a registered nurse from the new Britain General Hospital School of Nursing in 1936, matriculated at New York University and taught nursing arts at her own school.
During World War II, she returned to New Britain to serve as assistant director of nursing until her first marriage in 1946.
She retired as a school nurse in 1985, and she and her husband moved to South Carolina. Mrs. Snow was active in her church and was a Red Cross volunteer for more than 30 years.
Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Snow; two sons, Dennis J. Carlson of Virginia Beach, Va., and Dale S. Carlson of Des Plaines, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Karen Snow and Myrva Hand; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the Westminster Towers' Community Room.

William Wray
YORK - Mr. William Leslie Wray, 76, of 2514 Highway 161 South died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gas-tonia, N.C.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Canaan United Methodist Church in Smyrna, with the Revs. Charles A. Phillips and Will R. Brown officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
A native of Cherokee County, Mr. Wray was a son of the late William Wray and Emma Wyatt Wray. He retired after 31 years of service with Carolina Freight Carriers of Cherry-ville, N.C. He was a member of Canaan United Methodist Church. An Army veteran of World War II, he served in the 272nd Field Artillery Battalion.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Quinn Wray; his daughter, Rebecca G. Oxford of Clover; his brother, Charles H. Wray of Gastonia; and his sister, Gladys W. Clark of York.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at M.L. Ford Sons Funeral Home in Clover and at other times at the home of Rebecca Oxford, 573 Owens Road, Clover.

Thomas Johnson
CHESTER - Mr. Thomas Charles "T.C." Johnson, 66, of 534 Curbeam Road died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Fairfield County, with the Rev. Moses Lightner officiating and the Rev. John Heath assisting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Fairfield County, Johnson was the son of the late Adam Johnson and Cecila Lightner Johnson. He was the widower of Betty Jean Wilkes Johnson. He was a retired logger with Thomas and Son, was retired from Floyd Grant Masonry Company and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He attended school in Fairfield County.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas C. Johnson Jr. and John Kennedy Johnson, both of Chester; two daughters, Cecila Johnson and Barbara Johnson, both of Chester; three brothers, Larry Johnson, Willie B. Johnson and Edward Johnson, all of Baltimore; four sisters, Rosa B. Curbeam and Carrie G. Bucksom, both of Chester, and Alice Foster and Daisy Long, both of Baltimore; and five grandchildren.

Duncan Felder Jr.
SUMMERVILLE - Mr. Duncan Stokes Felder Jr., 55, of 124 Brandywine Drive died Friday, May 12, 2000, at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Grace United Methodist Church cemetery in Union, with the Rev. Gary Byrd officiating.
A native of Clinton, Mr. Duncan was the son of Mary Allen Stone Felder and the late Dr. Duncan Stokes Felder Sr. Mr. Felder was a graduate of Union High School and Wofford College, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He served in the Army in the Vietnam War and was a former captain in the Army Reserves. He was retired from the S.C. Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Laura Hayes Felder, his daughter, Emily Allen Felder of Columbia; two sisters, Susan F. Godshall and Mary Connor F. Johns, both of Atlanta; and his brother, E. Stone Felder of Greenville.

Harry McClain
YORK - Mr. Harry Lewis McClain, 43, of 115 New St. died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Gold Hill Baptist Church in York, with the Rev. George McCoy officiating and the Rev. D.R. Rice assisting. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mr. McClain was the son of Sarah Catherine McClain of York and the late Ulyesee "Boothey" Williams. He was a member of Gold Hill Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Cannon Mills, Dripcut Inc. and York Print Works. He attended Jefferson and York High Schools.
Surviving in addition to his mother are three brothers, Johnny Ray McClain of Rock Hill, Roy Lee Williams and Gary Williams, both of Gastonia, N.C.; six sisters, Sarah Ellen McClain of York, Linda W. Smarr of Gastonia, Ollie W. Matthews of Kings Mountain, N.C., Alice Hunt of Rock Hill, Shirley Cathcart of New York and Mary Ervin of Washington, D.C.; and his special friend, Crystal Roberts.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Sarah McClain, 218 California St., York.
The body may be viewed from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home.
The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Pearline Porter
JONESVILLE Mrs. Pearline Bell Porter of 278 Park Place died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at Wallace Thompson Hospital in Union.
Funeral arrangements will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Mark Hill Baptist Church in Jonesville. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Surviving are her sister, Annie Mae Porter of Rock Hill.

Neva Sprinkle
CLOVER - Mrs. Neva Riddle Sprinkle, 84, of 208 Jackson Terrace died Friday, May 12, 2000.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Sunday at Bratton Funeral Home.
A native of Fairmont, W. Va., Mrs. Sprinkle was a daughter of the late Everett E. Riddle and Sarah Johnson Riddle. She was the widow of Robert F. Sprinkle Sr. She was a retired bookkeeper for Nationwide Insurance Co. and the Sands Co. for which she also was a buyer. She was a member of Temple Presbyterian Church and began teaching Sunday school at an early age.
Surviving are her son, the Rev. Robert F. Sprinkle Jr. of Sharon; her brother, Herschel Riddle of Newport News, Va.; her sister, Audrey R. Music of Kingsport, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bratton Funeral Home.

Bobby Vinson Sr.
LANCASTER Mr. Bobby Joe Vinson Sr., 65, of 3526 Hoke Road died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Crestview Baptist Church, with the Revs. Steve Stewart and Grady Ghent officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.
A native of Chester County, Mr. Vinson was the son of the late Ora Vinson and Lottie Robinson Vinson. He was a retired textile employee and a member of Crestview Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Mae Hinson Vinson; his son, Bobby Joe Vinson Jr. of the home; two daughters, Jo Anne Vinson and Sue Burch, both of Lancaster; three sisters, Christine Walden, Pat Ammons and Peggy Walden, all of Lancaster; three granddaughters; and his great-grandchild.
The body was taken to his home Friday, where the family will receive friends.

LANCASTER - Mrs. Judie Beth Baskin McManus, 57, of 4635 Musket Road died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at her home.

A native of Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Minton Baskin and Effie Hinson Baskin. Mrs. McManus graduated from Buford High School and Winthrop University and taught 12th-grade English at Lancaster High School. She was a member of the South Carolina Teachers Association and was a member of First Baptist Church of Lancaster.
Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Dr. Donald McManus; two sons, James Donald McManus Jr. and William Lee Baskin McManus, both of Columbia; her brother, David Baskin of Heath Springs; three sisters, Sybil Faulkenberry of Heath Springs, Rachel Carter of Rock Hill and Robbie Outen of Lancaster.
