ROCK HILL - Mrs. Donnie J. Cathcart, 73, of 1075 Sheraton Way died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Second Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Born in Laurens, Mrs. Cathcart was the daughter of the late Clarence Grant Jackson and Lottie Henley Jackson. She was a charter member of Second Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a retired quality control foreman with Hoechst Celanese.
Surviving are her husband, Earl Cathcart; her son, Jim Cathcart of Rock Hill; two daughters, Dianne C. Twiddy of Rock Hill and Yvonne C. Griffiths of Charlotte; her sister, Mozelle J. Little of Easley; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Bass Funeral Home and other times at the home.

Albert Harris
NEWARK, N.J. - Mr. Albert Harris, formerly of Rock Hill, died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at the University of Medicine and Dentistry Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home's Chapel of Remembrance, with the Rev. Arthur Howell officiating and the Rev. Silas Randolph assisting. Burial will be at White Hill AME Zion Church cemetery.
A native of York County, Mr. Harris was the son of the late Joseph Harris and Eliza Nash Harris. He attended St. Luke AME Methodist Church in Newark. He did landscaping and construction work and attended York County public schools. He was the widower of Lottie Bell Harris.
Surviving are his two sons, James Ivory Harris and Albert Harris Jr., both of Newark; two daughters, Dorothy Louise Johnson and Grace Myles, both of Newark; and three sisters, Connie Young of Washington, D.C., and Maggie Lee Harris and Juanita Burns, both of Rock Hill.
The body may be viewed from 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Faye Keene
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Faye Duff Keene, 81, of 1330 India Hook Road died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Westminster Healthcare Center.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. today at Westminster Presbyterian Church chapel, with the Revs. Drs. Shelton Stanford and William Fox officiating. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Gardens in Lafayette, Tenn.
A native of Jackson, Ky., Mrs. Keene was the daughter of the late James Duff and Linnie Nichols Duff. She was a homemaker and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She wrote for the Hartsville Gazette and Westminster Towers News and had poems published with the National Poetry Society. She was the widow of B.C. "Pete" Keene.
Surviving are two daughters, Judith Slack of Seaford, Del., and Susan Timberlake of Rock Hill; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends after the service.

BESSEMER CITY, N.C. - Mrs. Hattie Mae Taylor Reynolds, 77, of 322 E. Georgia Ave. died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, N.C.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Greene Funeral Home's downtown chapel, with the Rev. Bill Shytle officiating. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery in Fort Mill.
A native of Cherryville, N.C., Mrs. Reynolds is a daughter of the late Hunter W. Taylor and Dora Hudson Taylor. She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Belmont Spinning Mills. She was the widow of James Mullinax and Frank Reynolds.
Surviving are her brother, Hunter Leroy Taylor of Kings Mountain, N.C.; her sister, Annie McBride of Mount Airy, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

YORK - Mrs. Emily May Davis Roberts, 70, of 1660 Moss Creek Drive died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at York Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
A native of Newport News, Va., Mrs. Roberts was a daughter of the late Fletcher Allen Davis and Lola Elizabeth Roberts Davis. She was retired from Eckerd Drugs and was an employee of Wal-Mart in York. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God.
Surviving are her husband, James Wylie Roberts; two sons, Roger Allen Smith of Houston and Wayne Hand-shaker-Smith of Greenwood, Mich.; her daughter, Beverly Smith Oakley of Sandy Ridge, N.C.; her brother, Floyd Caine Davis of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two sisters, Grace Davis Singletary of Farmville, Va., and Laura Elizabeth Etling of Scottsdale, Pa.; two stepsons, Gregory James Roberts of Addison, Ill., and Jeffrey Jordan Roberts of Villa Park, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

LANCASTER - Mr. Douglas Cromer, 82, of 1020 Memorial Park Road died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bruce Craig officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Great Falls.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Cromer was a retired machine operator for Springs Industries.
Surviving are his wife, Jermain Wright Cromer; and six grandchildren.

Eva Beaty
CLOVER- Mrs. Eva Jane Barnett Beaty, 90, of 509 Sumter St. Extension died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Liberty Hill AME Zion Church, with the Rev. Terrence Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
A native of York, Mrs. Beaty was a daughter of the late Henry Barnett and Sarah Phillips Barnett. From an early age, she was a member of Liberty Hill AME Zion Church, where she was a member of the Missionary Society, the Deaconess Board, the Sunday school and was the church secretary for many years. She also was a member of the Liberty Hill Church Aid Society.
Surviving are her husband, George Beaty; her son John Henry Barnett of Bronx, N.Y.; her brother, Clifton Barnett of Gastonia, N.C.; her sister, Laurada B. Patterson of Gastonia; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grand children; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

CLOVER - Mr. Howard Henry Boheler, 72, of 2646 Boheler Road died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at M.L. Ford Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marvin Carson officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
A native of York County, Mr. Boheler was a son of the late Jonathan Forest Boheler and Sarah Fannie McCarter Boheler. He was the widower of Ora Lee Boheler. A retired farmer, he also was retired from Randolph Trucking Co. in Blacksburg.
Surviving are his daughter, Gaye B. Smith of Clover; four sons, Wayne Boheler, Roger Boheler and Dennie Boheler, all of Clover, and Ronnie Boheler of Kings Creek; three brothers, Floyd Boheler of Clover, Charles Boheler of Greenville and George Boheler of Danridge, Tenn.; five sisters, Sue Lynn of Clover, Alice Best of Bessemer City, N.C., Edna Hardin of Hickory Grove, Joanne Russell of Sharon and Barbara Boheler of Clover; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Chester Boykin
HARTSVILLE - Mr. Chester Conathan Boykin of 916 G. St., formerly of Rock Hill, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at a Florence hospital.
The funeral will be noon Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Isaac Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Darlington Memorial Gardens.
A native of Camden, Mr. Boykin was a son of the late Willie Boykin Sr. and Esther Josephine Miller Boykin. He was a graduate of Butler High School and of Morris College. He earned his master's degree from New York University. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
While living in Rock Hill, he was principal of Hillcrest Elementary School. He retired from the Lee County Public School District after serving more than 30 years as an educator.
He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, where he served as Bible school teacher and in many other capacities. He was a member of the Morris College Alumnae Association and the Beta Theta Sigma Chapter of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Surviving are two daughters, Evelyn Chestenia Maclin of Rock Hill and Mary Fabretta McNeil; his brother, Willie T. Boykin of Bennettsville; his sister, Amelia B. Townsend of Florence; his granddaughter; and his special friend, Ivora White of Hartsville.

A native of Lancaster, Mrs. Day was a daughter of the late Jack Hayes and Lona Mae McCall Hayes.

A native of Lancaster, Mrs. Blackmon was a daughter of the late Lewis Sylvester Snipes and Bertha Estridge Snipes. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Ellie Blackmon; her daughter, Susan Carroll of Lancaster; her brother, Charles Snipes of Lancaster; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

FORT MILL - Miss Angel Manfredi, infant daughter of Chris Man-fredi and Ashley Lucas, of 1550 Banks St.-Apt. 6 died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Grandview Memorial Park, with the Revs. Dr. Robert D. Shrum and Glenn Self officiating.

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Mrs. Barbara Jean Wylie Cobb, 53, of 3406 Woodlea Drive died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Moses Cone Hospital.

A native of Rowan County, N.C., Mrs. Cobb was a daughter of the late John Thomas Wylie and Rosezene Cherry Wylie. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from Livingstone College and her master of social work degree in 1979 from Indiana University. She was last employed at Vision Youth Group Home Inc. as director of social work and certified mental health.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Cobb; her daughter, Renee Wylie of Greensboro, N.C.; her stepdaughter, Rhonda McCollum of Greensboro; three brothers, Henry Wylie of Rock Hill, John T. Wylie of Jacksonville, Fla., and Kenneth R. Wylie of Salisbury, N.C.; six sisters, Ruth W. Morrow of Granite Quarry, N.C., Julie W. Tate, Linda F. Wylie and Diane W. Ellis, all of Salisbury, Dorothy W. Moore of Owings Mills, Md., and Sandra W. Lewis of Aston, Pa.

ROCK HILL - Mr. Johnny Daniel Coley Jr., 46, of 2787 Eden Terrace Extension died Wednesday, April 12, 2000.

A native of Paterson, N.J., Mr. Coley was a son of John Daniel and Martha Louise McGuirt Coley of Rock Hill. He was employed with Duke Power Co. for more than 20 years as a materials handler. He was a longtime member of Independent Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Marilyn Liester Coley; two sons, Jonathan Andrew Coley and Joshua Rion Coley, both of Rock Hill; his sister, Sheila Barfield of Rock Hill; four brothers, Jack Coley, Randy Coley and Kelly Coley, all of Rock Hill, and Derrick Coley of Fort Mill; and two half-brothers, Wayne Coley and Ricky Coley, both of Fort Mill.
