YORK - Mr. Andy Williams, 87, of Rock Hill died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at Magnolia Manor.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at Wright Funeral Home in York. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church in Sharon.
Mr. Williams was a son of the late Robert Williams and Mattie Burris Williams. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church in Sharon and later joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in Rock hill.
Surviving are his sister, Katie Littlejohn of High Point, N.C.
The body may be viewed from 6 to 7 tonight at Wright Funeral Home.
Elsie Daut
FORT MILL - Mrs. Elsie M. Ristau Daut, 94, of 255 Pinecrest St. died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church in Rock Hill, with the Rev. Ray E. Mohrmann officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa, N.J., with her nephew, the Rev. William P. Wnuzk, officiating.
A native of Paterson, N.J., Mrs. Daut was a daughter of the late Guss Ristau and Ann Miller Ristau. She was the widow of Walter Daut.
A retired bookbinder, Mrs. Daut was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends after the memorial service.

YORK - Mrs. Mildred "Jo" Whitesides Davidson, 65, formerly of Clover, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at White Oak Manor.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Woodside Cemetery in Clover with the Revs. Shady Lane and Earl Combs officiating.
A native of York County, Mrs. Davidson was a daughter of the late Muril Cloninger Whitesides and Ira Whitesides. She was the widow of the Rev. Burt L. Davidson. She and her late husband were founders of the Free Spiritual Tabernacle Church in Clover.
Surviving are three sons, the Rev. Lanny Davidson, Randy Davidson and Ben Davidson, all of Clover; two daughters, Arlene D. Patterson and Cindy D. Wheeler, both of Clover; three brothers, Novak Whitesides and Lanny Whitesides, both of Kings Mountain, N.C., and Hugh "Whitey" Whitesides of Spartanburg; and two sisters, Iris Thomas of Clover and Ann Lee Bostic of Ranlo, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at M.L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home, Clover.

Rose Dean
Lancaster - Mrs. Rose Jelinek Dean, 92, of Lancaster died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at the White Oak Manor.
A memorial service will be noon Saturday at St. Catherine Catholic Church.
A native of Straits, Pa., Mrs. Dean was a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Belnik Jelinek. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Dean was a registered nurse at the Federal Penitentiary in Trenton, N.J. for 20 years.
Surviving are two sons, Richard E. Dean of Lindenhurst,
N.Y., and Guy F. Dean of Lancaster; her sister, Agnes Johnson of Trenton, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

MONROE, N.C. - Mrs. Elleese Passmore Reynolds Deese, 78, of Monroe died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at Union Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Monroe, with the Revs. John Culbreth and Matthew Munday officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Unity Cemetery in Fort Mill.
A native of Cherokee County, N.C., Mrs. Deese was a daughter of the late Robert Gaddy Passmore and the late Jessie Clark Passmore. She retired from Springs Mills Co. She was the widow of Carson Reynolds of Fort Mill.
Surviving are her husband, J. H. Junior Deese, of Monroe; her daughter, Katherine Gordon of Rock Hill; her brother, Garland Passmore of Vale, N.C.; her sister, Ora Mae Cole of Gastonia, N.C.; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Sarah Zingler Diamond, 87, of 707 Brairfield Road died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ray E. Mohrmann officiating. Burial was at Shawano City Cemetery in Shawano, Wis.
A native of Suring, Wis., Mrs. Diamond was a daughter of the late Otto Charles Zingler and Marie Stuewer Zingler. She was a registered nurse and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Rock Hill.
Mrs. Diamond was the widow of Fred E. Diamond.
Surviving is her half-brother, Gerald D. Jerekof Bonduel of
Wisconsin.
Friends will gather at the church after the memorial service.

WHITMIRE - Mr. Clarence W. "Old Head" Evans, 82, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial with Masonic Rites will be at Whitmire Cemetery.
A native of Whitmire, Mr. Evans was a son of the late William Evans and Nina Evans McClellan. He retired from J. P. Stevens Co. after 45 years, was a member of the Roseboro Lodge #195 for 38 years and attended the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was the widower of Nellie Evans.
Surviving are his son, William Evans of Greenwood; five daughters, Rachel Bunch, Robbie Hill and Sandra Goins, all of Whitmire, Brenda Boyd of Loris and Derema Rankin of Fairview; three sisters, Lillian Gregory, Jeanette Anderson and Betty McClellan, all of Rock Hill.

Lancaster - Mrs. Marie Eleanor Johnson Jhant, 76, of 905 Sumter St. died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at Springs Memorial Hospital.

A native of St. Louis, Mrs. Jhant was a daughter of the late John A. Johnson and Jeanette Dombroskie Johnson. Mrs. Jhant was a retired meat clerk for the former A P grocery store and was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are her husband, Lytle Max Jhant of the home; her daughter, Patricia Caskey of Lancaster; her brother, John A. Johnson of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.

ROCK HILL - Miss Shannon Krista LaBoon, 13, of 312 Chipwood Lane died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Garden Sanctuary Church of God, with the Revs. Mike Wooten and Joey Nelms officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
Miss LaBoon was a member of Garden Sanctuary Church of God. She was a homebound student with the Chester County school district.
Surviving are her parents, David F. and Jannessa Sutton LaBoon; two sisters, Kayla LaBoon and Kandace LaBoon, both of the home; her paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Roberta LaBoon of Lyman; her maternal grandparents, James and Moqueta Sutton of Rock Hill; her paternal great-grandmothers, Frances LaBoon of Greer and Thelma Hyatt of Spartanburg.

NEW YORK - Ms. Virginia Peterson Grant of Hamilton Place, formerly of York, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at a
New York hospital.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at New Home AME Zion Church in York, with the Rev. Dr. Clyde Jenkins officiating and the Rev. Dr. Willie Garrison eulogizing. Burial will be at Gold Hill Baptist Church cemetery in York.

New York; her daughter, Shavonne Grant of
New York; her sister, Mary Collins of York; two brothers, Frank Peterson of

Miriam Means
COLUMBIA - Mrs. Miriam Myers Means, 72, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000.
The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Riverland Hills Baptist Church in Columbia.
A native of Scranton, Mrs. Means was the daughter of the late William Armstrong Myers and Ruth Long Myers. She attended Winthrop College and was retired from Celanese Acetate.
Surviving are her daughter, Brenda Barker of Rock Hill; three sons, Joe Means of Irmo, Michael Means of Columbia and Wayne Means of Atlanta; her sister, Ruth Stewart of Aiken; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Riverland Hills Baptist Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Elizabeth Moore
HEATH SPRINGS - Mrs. Elizabeth Cauthen Moore, 76, of 7057 Juniper Lane died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000.
The funeral was Thursday at Hanging Rock United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Eugene Feagin officiating. Burial was at the Hanging Rock United Methodist Church cemetery.
A native of Heath Springs, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of the late James Alvin and Beulah Sullivan Cauthen Sr. She was retired from Skyline Ltd. and was a member of the Hanging Rock United Methodist Church where she was a former lay leader, Sunday school teacher of the adult Bible class, and was active in the Busy Bee Mission Group.
Surviving are her husband, James R. Moore, Jr.; her son, James R. Moore, III. of Heath Springs; her stepmother, Frances Hilton Cauthen of Heath Springs; two half-brothers, William R. "Bill" Cauthen and Fred M. Cauthen, both of Heath Springs; and two grandchildren.

Lucille Mosley
CLOVER - Ms. Lucille Mosley of 741 Guinn St. died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, in Clover.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Gold Hill Baptist Church in York, with the Rev. John McCoy officiating and the Rev. Benjamin Hinton assisting. Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Filbert.
A native of York County, Ms. Mosley was a daughter of the late Joe and Omiga Rodey Brown. She worked in the textile and health-care industries and attended the Upper Room Baptist Church in Philadelphia.
Surviving are three sisters, Louise Barnette of Philadelphia, Mattie Sitgraves of Rock Hill and Bessie B. Pitts of Clover; two brothers, John Brown of Philadelphia and J.C. Brown of Clover; and three grandchildren.
