GREAT FALLS - Mr. Tom David Spence, 63, of 5276 Sweatt McCul-lough Road died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rossville AME Zion Church, with the Rev. Anthony Commodore officiating and the Revs. Mose Hayes and Connie Richmond assisting. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mr. Spence joined Rossville AME Zion Church at an early age. He was retired from J.P. Stevens and worked for the South Carolina State Fair in Columbia this fall.
Surviving are his wife, Ida Mae Belk Spence; his stepson, Jack Belk of Fort Lawn; his brother, James Spence of Great Falls; his sister, Julia Simpson of Blackstock; his adopted brother, Arthur Dye of Great Falls; his adopted sister, Martha Dye Mack of Great Falls; and four step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of James Spence, 5276 Sweatt McCullough Road.
The body may be viewed from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Washington Funeral Home.
The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Thursday.
William Sutton
ROCK HILL - William Frank "Bill" Sutton, 10, of 6925 Turkey Farm Road died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at home.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Eastview Baptist Church, with the Revs. Rick Martin and Mark Crews officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Bill was a fifth-grade student at Jefferson Elementary School in York. A member of Eastview Baptist Church, he played on the basketball and softball teams and was a member of the children's choir.
Surviving are his parents, Donald and Robin Sutton of the home; his brother, Jamie Sutton of the home; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Ann Sutton of Rock Hill; and his maternal grandparents, Randy and Lucille Johnson of Fort Mill.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Eastview Baptist Church.

Bobby Cameron
FOREST CITY, N.C. - Mr. Bobby Joe Cameron, 60, of 151 Bob Rollins Road, formerly of Lockhart, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Rutherford Hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Padgett King Mortuary. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Zion Presbyterian Church in Lowrys, with the Rev. Chris Snellgrove officiating.
A native of Chester, Mr. Cameron was a son of the late P. Leon Cameron and Irene Yongue Cameron. He was a machinist with Torrington Corp. and was a member of Lockhart Freewill Baptist Church and Lockhart Masonic Lodge No. 244 A&FM.
Surviving are his son, Scott Cameron of Decatur, Ga.; his daughter, Judy Lynn Gill of Lockhart; two brothers, Earl Cameron of Chester and Leon Cameron of Winnsboro; and his granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Padgett King Mortuary and from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Friday at the home of a family member adjacent to the cemetery.

Melba Dellinger
MINT HILL, N.C. - Mrs. Melba June Fortune Dellinger, 67, of Mint Hill died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. today at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Charlotte, with the Revs. Dr. Peter Setzer and Michael R. Ward officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord, N.C.
A native of Concord, Mrs. Dellinger was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, where she was active in sports. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Harold E. Dellinger; her son, Harold Jeffrey Dellinger of Charlotte; two daughters, Susan D. Jordan of York and Leslie D. Burnette of Charlotte; three brothers, Charlie Fortune and Bob Fortune, both of Concord, and Keet Fortune of Lancaster; her sister, Hazel Penninger of Concord; and seven grandchildren.

Jessie Doster
SMYRNA - Mr. Jessie Lincoln "J.L." Doster, 68, of 7020 Highway 97 died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Mercy South Hospital in Pineville, N.C.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Broad River Baptist Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of York County, Mr. Doster was a son of the late John Doster and May Martin Doster. He was a retired textile employee and was a member of Broad River Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Fannie Martin Doster; two sons, Teddy Doster of York and Jody Doster of the home; his daughter, Diane Jenkins of Blacksburg; his brother, Boyd Doster of Pickens; his sister, Mary Elizabeth Jones of York; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

William Engle
WARD - Mr. William Baxter Engle, 70, of Route 1, Box 23, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Celestial Memorial Gardens in West Columbia.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Engle was a son of the late Baxter Sarlis Engle and Nancy Clontz Engle. He was the widower of Mary Anne Faulkenberry Engle. He was retired from Eastern Airlines and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in West Columbia. Mr. Engle was a member of Sinclair Masonic Lodge and Jamil Shrine Temple. He was a founding member of the American Square Dance Education and Recreation Association.
Surviving are two sons, Roger Dale Engle of West Columbia and William Baxter Engle II of Ward; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Elma Funderburk
LANCASTER - Mrs. Elma Elizabeth Funderburk, 90, of Lancaster died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at White Oak Manor.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Thomas B. Wilkes III and Gary McInvaille officiating. Entombment will be at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.
A native of Lancaster, Mrs. Funderburk was a daughter of the late John Thomas Newman Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Caston Newman. She was the widow of Raymond Fletcher Funderburk. Mrs. Funderburk was a retired employee of Springs Industries. She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of Eastern Star Chapter 257. She was a member of Leroy Springs Senior Citizens and helped organize the Lancaster County Council on Aging.
Surviving are two sons, Fletcher Ray "Bud" Funderburk and Don G. Funderburk, both of Lancaster; two daughters, Nettie Belk of Charlotte and Anne McManus of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three-great-great-grandchildren.

Charles Jones
CONWAY - Mr. Charles Brown Jones, 79, of 18th Avenue died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Conway Hospital.
The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. today at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. Entombment with Masonic and full military honors will be at Hillcrest Mausoleum.
A native of Lancaster, Mr. Jones was a son of the late Robert Vance Jones and A. Renea Vinson Jones. He was a member of Grand Strand Christian Church in Myrtle Beach. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 353 in Myrtle Beach, where he was an officer of the lodge. He also was a member of the Scottish Rite.
Surviving are his wife, Brittie Carroll Bellamy Jones; three sons, Perry Jones and Lamar Bellamy, both of Surfside Beach and Gerard Bellamy of Conway; his daughter, Franza Wesner of Myrtle Beach; four sisters, Doris Faile of Elberta, Ga., Betty Hood and Ruth Bennett, both of Rock Hill, and Jean Allen of Freetown, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

LANCASTER - Mrs. Flonnie Knight Lane, 80, of 920 14th St. died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at home.

A native of Lancaster, Mrs. Lane was a daughter of the late Will T. Knight and Bessie Flynn Knight. She was the widow of Walter Theo Lane. Mrs. Lane was a retired employee of Springs Industries and was a member of White Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Shirley Lane, Pearline Lane, Pauline Caskey and Helen Bradley, all of Lancaster; her brother, Billie C. Knight of Lancaster; three sisters, Ignoma Stogner, Myrtle Craig and Beatrice Knight, all of Lancaster; two grandchildren; and her great-grandchild.

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Alice McCleskey Masone, 47, of 860 Nightingale Road died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at home.
Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Mark Verdery officiating.
A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Mrs. Mason was a daughter of Robert Samuel McCleskey and Elsie Johnson Upchurch McCleskey of Winston-Salem. She was a home-health educator with the Department of Health and Environmental Control. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she was a deacon and served as chairman of the Fellowship Committee. She was a former president of the Newcomers Club.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Henry "Hank" Masone; two sons, Robert Patrick Masone of Charlotte and Samuel McCleskey Masone of Rock Hill; her daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Masone of Rock Hill; and her sister, Leigh Davis Wright of Charlotte.

FORT MILL - Mrs. Amy Patterson Moore, 105, formerly of Harris-burg Road, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Spring Arbor Residential Care in Rock Hill.
A memorial service was Wednesday at Spring Arbor Residential Care, with the Rev. Robert Dunn officiating. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, with the Revs. Randall Odom and Bill Quatrone officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Lancaster County, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of the late Henry Dallas Patterson and Wylie Ross Hall Patterson. She was a former sales associate at Belk and Ivey's department stores in Charlotte. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Grant Moore of Fort Mill; and three sisters, Mary Hannah Crenshaw and and Lois Patterson Hawfield, both of Lancaster, and Lucille Patterson Daumer of Charlotte.

Mrs. Parks was a member of Christian Home Baptist Church, where she sang with the Hymn Choir. She attended the Chester County public schools.
Surviving are her son, Edward Parks of Rock Hill; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Robinson Funeral Home.

YORK - Mr. Louis "Buzzy" Bradford White, 65, of 306 Lincoln Road died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Jeff O'Rouke officiating.
A native of York County, Mr. White was a son of the late Wylie Bradford White and Dorothy Alderman White. He was a security guard with American Security.
Surviving are three sisters, Doris White Jenkins, Joyce White McElroy and Dale White Freeze, all of York.
