CHARLOTTE - Ms. Vickie Lynn Barnhardt, 34, of Charlotte, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at Mercy South Hospital.
A memorial service was Monday at McEwen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Horace L. Willoughby officiating.
A native of Charlotte, Ms. Barnhardt was a homemaker. She was a daughter of Jean Annette Barnhardt of Concord, N.C., and the late Victor R. Barnhardt.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her life partner, Roger Dixon of Charlotte; her daughter, Victoria "Toree" Nicole Barnhardt of Concord; her maternal grandmother, Daisy Canipe of Hickory, N.C.; seven sisters, Vivian Whitmire of Harrisburg, N.C., Cynthia Alexander of Monroe, N.C., Carolyn Thomas of Clover, Linda Moore of Charlotte, Sue Rodriquez of Concord and Sassey Hegler and Angela Rogers, both of York; and two brothers, Jonathan Edminsten of New Orleans and Ronnie Edminsten of Cherokee, N.C.

Sallie Bouler
CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Sallie Bouler, 91, of 2838 S. Tryon St. died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at Wesley's Health Care.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pineville AME Zion Church in Rock Hill, with the Rev. Eugene Goodwin officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Surviving are her daughter, Hattie Neely of Greensboro, N.C.; four sons, Major Bouler of Charlotte, Isaac Bouler of Fort Mill, Aaron Bouler of Charlotte and Curtis Bouler of Chester; 67 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; 38 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren.

James Daugherty
CLOVER - Mr. James Daniel Daugherty, 43, of 651 S. Beersheba Road died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Jonathan Dorst officiating.
A native of Memphis, Tenn., Mr. Daugherty was a son of Mary K. Daugherty of Tampa, Fla., and the late William Daugherty. Mr. Daugherty had more than 20 years experience in automotive engineering in the heavy truck industry. He had two years experience in residential home building as owner of Homes Plus. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Judy McDaniel Daugherty.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at M.L. Ford Sons Funeral Home.

LANCASTER - Mrs. Leila Caston Evans, 88, of 615 Gillsbrook Road died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roy Barnes officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.
A native of Lancaster County, Mrs. Evans was a daughter of William Thurlow Caston and Almetta H. Robinson Caston. She was the widow of Edward Evans. She was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Oasis Club and the Golden Age Club.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Bowers of Lancaster; her sister, Cora Wallace of Lancaster; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Barbara Bowers, 1209 Crestfield Drive, Lancaster.

George Glickman
ROCK HILL - Mr. George Jack Glickman, 86, of 1607 Mount Holly Road died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at home.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in York, with Thomas Bohart officiating. Burial will be private.
A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Mr. Glickman was a son of the late Benjamin Glickman and Lena Adler Glickman. He was a Jehovah's Witnesses minister for 64 years and served the Rock Hill congregation since 1972.
Surviving are his wife, June Rubright Glickman; two sons, Jon Glick-man of Anniston, Ala., and James Alan Glickman of Columbia; his sister, Bessie Lipson of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at home and after the memorial service.
Robert Harris
ROCK HILL - Mr. Robert Harris, 74, of 375 Marshall St. died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Cross Road Baptist Church, with the Rev. J.E. Boulware officiating. The Rev. Marian A. Crawford will give the eulogy. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mr. Harris formerly worked maintenance at Sears. He was a member of Faith Temple Church of God. He was a veteran of World War II. He attended the York County public schools and Friendship Junior College. He graduated from Teamer's School of Religion with a bachelor's degree in theology and Faith Temple School of Religion with a bachelor of divinity degree. He had a radio ministry on WRHI for 13 years.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Chisolm Harris; five sons, Robert Harris Jr. and John Harris, both of Rock Hill, Donnie Harris and Kenny Harris, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Bobby Ray Harris of Washington; three stepsons, Marvin Harris of San Jose, Calif., and Miller Stevenson and Jerry Stevenson, both of Rock Hill; his stepdaughter, Paula Harris of New York; his brother, Albert Harris of Newark, N.J.; three sisters, Maggie Harris and Juanita Burns, both of Rock Hill, and Connie Young of Washington; 32 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed from 1 to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Parker Funeral Home.
The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Joseph Hunter Sr.
ROCK HILL - Mr. Joseph L. Hunter Sr. of 316-A Hutchinson St. died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at Ebenezer Rehabilitation Special Care Unit.
The funeral will be noon Saturday at Mount Prospect Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Montgomery officiating. The Rev. Richard Graham will give the eulogy. Burial will be at Barber Memorial Cemetery.
A native of Oconee County, Mr. Hunter was a chef for 25 years at Celanese. He was a member of Mount Prospect Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and a former trustee and choir member. He was a former Elk. He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Willia Hardin Hunter; two sons, Gerald V. Hunter of Fort Washington, Md., and Jackie D. Hunter of Yorktown, Va.; his brother, James V. Hunter of Rock Hill; two sisters, Nina Jackson of Atlantic City, N.J., and Bertha Carpenter of New York; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Saturday and the family will receive friends at
11:30 a.m. until the service begins.

HICKORY GROVE - Mr. Water Lee Jones, 80, of Hickory Grove, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at home.

A native of Blounts Creek, N.C., Mr. Jones was retired from Mercy Hospital after 30 years of service as an electrician.
Surviving are his wife, Madge Jones, two sons, Larry Jones of Washington, N.C., and Ronald Jones of Clover; two daughters, Brenda Mull of Clover and Deborah Wray of Hickory Grove; two sisters, Martha Jones and Annie Myrtle Norman, both of Blounts Creek; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; .

Robert McMillan
CHARLESTON - Mr. Robert Holmes "Mac" McMillan, 40, of Folly Beach died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be private.
Mr. McMillan was a son of the late James McMillan and Mary "Gini" McMillan. He was a field engineer for Cutler Hammer Inc. He attended Maysview Community College in Kentucky and graduated with honors from Murray State University in Kentucky.
Surviving are two brothers, Michael McMillan of West Linn, Ore., and James McMillan of Mason, Ohio; two sisters, Yvette McMillan of Humble, Texas, and Ramelle Smith of Almond, N.C.

A native of Westville, Mr. Outen was a son of the late John Outen and Roxie Outen. He was the widower of Ethel Rider Outen. Mr. Outen retired from J.P. Stevens Co. after 20 years of employment. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
Surviving are his daughter, Jan Hutchison of York; his brother, Fred Outen of Rock Hill; his sister, Kate Snipes of Rock Hill; and his grandson.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Mr. Donald R. Terry, 59, of 813 N.E. 17th St., formerly of Lancaster, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at Living Legends Nursing Home in Deerfield Beach, Fla.

A native of Lancaster, Mr. Terry was a son of John Terry and Lilly Howard Terry.

Victor Zimmerman
LOUDONVILLE, Ohio - The Rev. Victor Glenn Zimmerman, 101, of 745 Township Road 3364, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center.
The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Miller officiating. Burial with military services will be at Sandridge Cemetery.
A native of Loudonville, Rev. Zimmerman was a son of the late Lozene and Hettie Zimmerman. He was an employee of Mansfield Sanitary in Perryville, Ohio, retiring in 1964, and was pastor of Pine Run First Church of God for many years. He was the widower of Marjorie "Ruth" Zimmerman.
A 1917 graduate of Loudonville High School, he attended Betheny College in West Virginia. He served in the U.S. Army and was the oldest living World War I veteran in Ashland County, Ohio.
Surviving are his son, John Zimmerman of Rock Hill; four daughters, Ruth Phillips of Euclid, Ohio; Margaret Jones of Fredericktown, Ohio; Judi Ross of Lapel, Ind.; and Betti Weltmer of Loudonville; his sister, Venita Kuhlman of Rock Springs, Wyo.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

NESMITH - Mrs. Mary Lou Rodgers Browne, 79, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at a Lake City hospital.

A native of Nesmith, Mrs. Browne was a daughter of the late James Morgan Rodgers and Annie Elizabeth Cooper Rodgers. A homemaker, she was a member of Nesmith Baptist Church, the United Methodist Women, a former member of the Ladies Sunday school class and former Sunday school teacher.
Surviving are her son, Buddy Browne of Nesmith; three daughters, Becky B. Cribb of Little Mountain, Nelle B. Neal of Rock Hill and Rosemary B. Amaker of Georgetown; her sister, Rosa Stephanos of Pamplico; six grandchildren; and her great-grandchild.
