FORT MILL - Mr. Robert Aaron "Bob" McConnell, 67, of 9-B Steele Circle died Thursday, July 22, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Untied AME Zion Church, with the Rev. T. Roger McBeth officiating. Burial will be at New Home AME Zion Church Cemetery in York.
A native of York County, Mr. McConnell was a retired farmer for Springs Farms in Fort Mill where he worked for 37 years. He was the son of the late Jean McConnell. Mr. McConnell was the widower of Kather McConnell.
Surviving are four daughters, Lorraine Williams of Lexington, N.C., Elaine McConnell of Fort Mill, Martha E. Collins of York and Janie McConnell of the home; his son, Robert A. McConnell Jr. of York; four stepdaughters, Annie Mae McConnell, Josephine Hope and Dorothy Burris, all of York, and Christine Burris of High Point, N.C.; his stepson, James Franklin Collins of York; two brothers, Arthur McConnell of High Point, N.C., and Eddie Lee McConnell of Rock Hill; three sisters, Annie Archie and Betty Jean Collins, both of High Point, and Mae Ruth Bratton of Rock Hill; and 10 grandchildren.
The body may be viewed from 5 to 7 tonight at Wright Funeral Home in York and will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Reola Nichols
CHESTER - Mrs. Reola Feaster Nichols, 40, of Ashford Street died Sunday, July 25, 1999, at Chester County Hospital.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Christopher King's Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joseph Stringfellow officiating and the Rev. Tommy Sanders assisting. Burial will be at Sweet Hope Baptist Church cemetery.
A native of Chester County, Mrs. Nichols is the daughter of Marie Feaster and the late Melton Feaster. She was the widow of John Nichols.
Surviving are two sons, Travis Feaster and John Nichols III, both of Chester; her daughter, Takeecia Feaster of Chester; her mother, Marie Feaster of Chester; her brother, Frank Feaster of Chester; five sisters, Ella Evans, Geneva Spears, Maggie Bell Feaster, Rosa English and Thelma Feaster, all of Chester; and her devoted friend, Willie Hardin of Chester.
The family will receive friends at the home of Ella Evans, 2369 Dawson Drive, Chester.
A viewing will be 6:30 to 9:30 tonight and from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of service at the chapel of Christopher King's Funeral Home.
Roosevelt Anderson
FORT MILL - Mr. Roosevelt Anderson, 83, of 809 Steele St. died Saturday, July 24, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jerusalem Baptist Church, with the Rev. M.N. Baxter officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
A native of York County, Mr. Anderson was a son of the late Henry Anderson and Sarah Moore Anderson. He was retired from Springs Industries. He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Hattie Robinson Anderson; two daughters, Doris Anderson Hood of Lancaster, and Ruth Anderson Thamiel of Glen Allen, Va.; his brother, the Rev. O.T. Anderson of Rock Hill; his sister, Alberta Anderson of Rock Hill; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 tonight at Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Mack Baccus
ROCK HILL - Mr. Mack Baccus, 80, of 4020 Williamson Road died Saturday at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Lowrys, with the Rev. Bobby Featherstone officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of York County, Mr. Baccus was a son of the late Mack Baccus and Maggie McCree Baccus. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, where he served as trustee, chairman of the deacon board, superintendent of Sunday school and a member of the AP&B Society.
Surviving are his wife, Louella Sanders Baccus; two sons, John Baccus and McArthur Baccus, both of Rock Hill; four daughters, Maggie Campbell of Rock Hill, Carrie Scott and Lucille Adams, both of Columbia, and Hattie Pickett of Charlotte; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at home.
The body may be viewed from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Christopher King's Funeral Home, 703 Old York Road, Chester.

Annie Bankhead
CHESTER - Mrs. Ammie Sims Bankhead, 81, of 100 Hemphill Ave. died Monday, July 26, 1999, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Barron Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. Burial will be at Hopewell ARP Church cemetery.
A native of Chester, Mrs. Bankhead was the widow of Joe C. Bankhead. She was retired from Springs Industries and attended Chester County schools.
Surviving are three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Arthur Barber
ROCK HILL - Mr. Arthur Barber, 63, of 1110 Haile St. died Friday, July 23, 1999, at Westminster Towers.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at New Home AME Zion Church in York, with the Rev. C.J. Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of York, Mr. Barber was a son of Isbell Kinard of Hendersonville, N.C. He was the widower of Lee Esther Davis Barber. He was a 1957 graduate of Emmett Scott High School and a 1961 graduate of Livingston College. He was a member of New Home AME Zion Church. Mr. Barber has worked with Eastern Finishing and Plating. He was a teacher with the S.C. Department of Corrections and with the York school district. Mr. Barber also worked with S.C. Parole and Community Corrections.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his son, Arthur Aaron Barber of York; two sisters, Ann Haynes of Baltimore, and Hatie James of Charlotte; two brothers, Shadrach Golden of Baltimore, and Herbert Kinard of Hendersonville, N.C.
The family will receive friends at the home of Elaine Davis, 1900 Davis Farm Road, York.

BALTIMORE - Donnie L. Beatty of 614 N. Gilmore St., formerly of Chester, died Sunday, July 23, 1999.
The funeral will be Friday at the Manna Bible Church, 3043 W. Belvidere Ave., Baltimore.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Beatty; three sons, Kevin Beatty, Ronald Beatty and Brian Beatty; his daughter, Mariette Beatty; his brother, Stephen Beatty; and two sisters, Lucilvia Jackson and Sarah Moore.

WASHINGTON - Mrs. Margaret A. Bolder of Washington died Friday, July 23, 1999.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. Burial will be private.
Surviving are five sons, Bruce, Donnie, Clifton, Anthony, Jonathan and Christopher; two daughters, Teresa and Pamela; her sister, Doris Johnson; two brothers, James Massey and Shelton Thomas; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

CHESTER - Mr. Alde Davis, 75, of 516 Lincolnville Road died Friday, July 23, 1999, at Chester County Hospital.

A native of Chester County, he was a son of the late Jim Davis and Sally Bell Thompson Davis. He was a retired construction worker. He was a member of Sweet Hope Baptist Church and attended Chester County schools.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille Feaster Davis of New York; his son, Johnny Davis of New York; his daughter, Betty Davis of New York; three brothers, Willie Davis of Kannapolis, N.C., Pearly Davis of Rock Hill, and Dennis Davis of Chester; four sisters, Mae Belle Crosby, Pauline Davis, Sibbie Worthy, all of Chester, and Rosie Melvin of Baltimore; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home Mae Bell Crosby, 586 Thomas E. Davis Drive.

CAMDEN - Mr. Harry Lee Falls, 88, of Pinedale Residential died Monday, July 26, 1999, at home.
A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bethesda Presbyterian Church cemetery in York followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Anthony Dick officiating.
A native of Gastonia, N.C., Mr. Falls was a son of the late R. Lee Falls and Minnie Faires Falls. He was the widower of Anna Ligon Falls. He was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and former Sunday school teacher. He was a printer at Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Co.
Surviving are his son, Robert L. Falls of Camden; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A native of York County, Mrs. Feaster was retired from Charlotte Mecklenburg School's food service. She was former member of Foundation AME Zion Church in York County. She was a member of China Grove AME Zion Church, where she served as a deaconess.
Surviving are her husband, Paul D. Feaster; two sons, Billy D. Feaster and Jonathan Feaster, both of Charlotte; four daughters, Janie B. Truesdale, Deborah K. Feaster, Barbara J. Feaster, and Doris Miller, all of Charlotte; her brother, Herbert Barber of Newark, N.J.; two sister, Alice Morrow and Annie R. Simpson, both of Charlotte; three grandchildren and great-grandchild.

A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Greene was a daughter of the late William Franklin Starnes and Effie Estelle McAbee Starnes. She was employed by Carolina Cargo and a member of Catawba Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William Greene; two sons, Tommy Greene of Rock Hill and Dennis Greene of Clover; her daughter, Linda McCameron of Rock Hill; her brother, David Starnes of Mint Hill, N.C.; four sisters, Mae Elders of Fort Lawn, Betty Green and Louise Alexander, both of York, and Genora Westmoreland of Rock Hill; and six grandchildren.
