CLOVER - Mrs. Mary Dickson Grissom, 92, formerly of Clover, died Feb. 6, 1998, at White Oak Manor in York.
A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Lakeview Memory Gardens, followed by a 2 p.m. memorial service at Clover A.R.P. Church, with the Rev. Calvin Draffin officiating.
Mrs. Grissom was the widow of Glenn Grissom. She was a member of the Clover A.R.P. Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Nancy G. Glenn; her brother, James M. Dickson; and her sister, Mabel D. Boyd, all of Clover; and two grandchildren.

Marion Hilton Sr.
FORT MILL - Mr. Marion H. "Hency" Hilton Sr., 69, of 405 Calhoun St. died Friday, Feb. 6, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 7 tonight at Greene Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating and the Rev. George Dye assisting. Burial will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Born in Rock Hill, Mr. Hilton was a retired chemical salesman and a member of Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his wife, Faye H. Hilton of the home; two sons, Marion H. Hilton Jr. of Fort Mill and Danny Hilton of Rock Hill; his daughter, Barbara Furr of Anson County, N.C.; his brother, C. "Doc" Hilton of Saltville, Va.; six grandchildren; and his great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends after the service today and other times at the home of his son, Marion H. Hilton Jr., 403 Calhoun St.

Arthur House
ROCK HILL - Mr. Arthur House, 81, of 504 Hampton St. died Thursday, Feb. 5, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Robinson Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.A. Massey and Dr. John McCoy officiating.
Mr. House attended Chester County Public Schools and was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. Burial will be at New Zion Baptist Church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Jimmison; three daughters, Louneal Martin of Charlotte, Vanie House and Wyomia House, both of Rock Hill; four sons, Willie House of Charlotte, Ronnie House, Arthur House Jr. and Arthur Culp, all of Rock Hill; his sister, Beatrice House of Salisbury, N.C.; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at 9:30 a.m. today at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
Julie Stevens
LANCASTER - Mrs. Julie Parnell Terry Stevens, 35, of Laurel Hill, N.C., died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998.
A graveside funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Lancaster Memorial Park, with the Revs. Stuart Snow and Jerry Catledge officiating.
Mrs. Parnell was a native of Rockingham, N.C.
Surviving are her son, Frank Shelton Steven Jr. of Lancaster; two daughters, Michelle Harris and Elizabeth Stevens, both of Lancaster; her parents Henry and Jessie Mae Terry of Rockingham; two brothers, William Terry of Rock Hill and David Terry of Lancaster; and six sisters, Juanita Knight, Kathy Waters, Carolyn Dawkins, Louise Terry, Francis Marsh, all of Rockingham, and Almetto Terry of Ohio; and her grandchild.

Minnie Lowe
CHARLOTTE - Minnie Rice Lowe, 91, of Charlotte, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, at Mecklenburg Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Southside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Doug Agnew and the Rev. John Saunders officiating.
A 1926 graduate of Mars Hill High School, Mrs. Lowe retired from the textile industry. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday school class. She was the widow of B. Frank Lowe Sr.
Surviving are two sons, B. Frank Lowe Jr. of Murfreesboro, N.C., and Carlis Eugene Lowe of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; three daughters, Sylvia Todd of Charlotte, Jo Anne Edwards of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Edna Giordano of Rock Hill; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. today at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd.

John McKown
HICKORY GROVE - Mr. John Mason McKown, 82, of 12074 Smithford Road died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, at his home.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Hickory Grove, with the Revs. Roger Dodds and Bill Good officiating. Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Mr. McKown was a retired finisher from Rock Hill Printing & Finishing Co. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Medical Corp. He was a member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church
Surviving are his wife, Mary Smarr McKown of Hickory Grove; his son, Jeffrey McKown of Hickory Grove; two daughters, Barbara McKown Rayborn of Jayass, Miss. and Nancy McKown Stargher of Charlotte; and two grandchildren.

Margaret Smith
HARTSVILLE - Mrs. Margaret Stuckey Smith, 89, died Feb. 5, 1998.
The funeral was 3 p.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Tim McLendon and Mitch Houston officiating. Burial was at Magnolia Cemetery.
A native of Bishopville, Mrs. Smith graduated from Queens College, taught school in Lee County and at Hartsville High School, and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Teachers sorority. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Rock Hill. Before moving to Rock Hill in 1989, she was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church, where she taught the Susannah Wesley Sunday school class for 30 years. She was a former president of the United Methodist Women, a circle leader, and a member of the Altar Guild. She was a charter member of the Pine and Lake Garden Club.
Surviving are her daughter, Suzanne Smith of Rock Hill; her brother, Thurston Stuckey of Hartsville; and her granddaughter.

Pearl Tysinger
MONROE, N.C. - Mrs. Pearl Helms Moser Tysinger, 87, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, at Union Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at McEwen Colonial Chapel, with the Revs. George Brasington and Talbot Davis officiating. Burial will be at Lakeland Memorial Park.
Born in Union County, Mrs. Tysinger was a homemaker. She was the widow of Rufus Moser and Arden Tysinger.
Surviving are two sons, Clifford "Buck" Moser of Lancaster and Mike Easley of Monroe; three daughters, Jeanette Jacobs of Blacksburg, Dorothy Johnson of Pageland, and Patricia Shackleford of Rock Hill; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Inez Williams
LANCASTER - Mrs. Inez Blackmon Williams, 78, of Confederate Avenue died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, at her home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at White Springs Baptist Church, with Dr. Bobby Bailey and the Rev. Elton Lane officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.
A native of Lancaster County, Mrs. Williams was a retired employee of Springs Industries and a member of White Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, John S. Williams; her son, Morrison Williams of Lancaster; her daughter, Linda Williams of Lancaster, her sister, Lee Wingate of Lancaster; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Judith Curtis Morton, 64, of 558 Fence Post Lane, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, at her home.
A graveside service will be private, with the Rev. Bill Shytle officiating.
A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Morton was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, and a devoted mother and grandmother. She was the widow of Alvis Wade Morton.
Surviving are two sons, Kurtis W. Morton of Charlotte and Kevin Morton of the home; two daughters, Kimberly M. Hall and Karla M. Hinson, both of Rock Hill; two brothers, Roscoe Curtis of Livington, Texas, and Bobby Curtis of Rock Hill; her sister, Geraldine Epps of Rock Hill; and four grandchildren.

Benjamin Ingram
LANCASTER - Mr. Benjamin Franklin "Frank B." Ingram, 82, of 975 13th St. died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, at Springs Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Second Baptist Church, with the Rev. James D. Spencer III officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.
A native of Kershaw, Mr. Ingram was a member of Second Baptist Church, where he was a teller and a former deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a Mason and a member of the Hart Masonic Lodge No. 380 and had been employed by Springs Industries for more than 50 years.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma Lee Hunter Ingram; his daughter, Vivian Fickling of Rock Hill; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home and from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Second Baptist Church.

Sidney Cauthen
ROCK HILL - Mr. Sidney Max Cauthen, 64, of 1824 Ebenezer Road, formerly of Heath Springs, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Dr. Robert J. Robinson and Dr. Roy E. Beckham officiating.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with the Revs. Dr. Robert J. Robinson and Gilbert Rowell officiating.
A native of Lancaster County, Mr. Cauthen was a retired educator after 31 years in the school system as a teacher, coach and principal in the Heath Springs and Andrew Jackson area. He was a graduate of Erskine College and received his master's degree at Winthrop College. He was employed for several years as interpreter specialist for the National Park Service and served in the Army. He was a member of First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill; a former member, Sunday school teacher, deacon and elder at Pleasant Hill ARP Church; and former member, Sunday school teacher and elder at First ARP Church in Lancaster.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Jordan Cauthen; his son, Charles B. "Chuck" Cauthen; two brothers, Andrew James Cauthen and Richard E. Cauthen, both of Heath Springs; his sister, Mary Catherine Baker of Heath Springs.
The family will receive friends at First ARP Church in Rock Hill.
