MYRTLE BEACH -- Daniel Richard Sivertsen, age 18, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005.
Mr. Sivertsen was born in Dover, N.J., a son of Mark Sivertsen and Kathleen Carroll. He attended St. James High School and loved to play video games, loved music, his baby brother and sister and was a movie buff.
Surviving in addition to his father and stepmother, Robin Sivertsen of Pa. and his mother of Myrtle Beach are his sister, Becky Carroll of Little River; brother, William Sivertsen of Pa.; grandparents, Martha Carroll of Myrtle Beach, and Richard and Nancy Sivertsen of N.J.; great-grandparents, William and Peg Schick of N.J.; five aunts, three uncles, and a number of cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with a wake service beginning at 7 p.m.

CONWAY -- Gethea Lee Dewitt Faulk, age 80, died Saturday, June 4, 2005, following an illness.
Surviving are three children, Willie Faulk Jr., Jacob Faulk Sr. and Kim McCray; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. from St. Paul Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mary Ruth Gore
TABOR CITY, N.C. -- Mary Ruth Gore, age 81, died Sunday, June 5, 2005 in Loris Healthcare.
Mrs. Gore was born in Horry County, the daughter of the late Edward and Maude Phillips Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, Paul U. Gore Sr. of the home; one son, Paul U. Gore Jr. of Vidalia, Georgia; two daughters, Diane Gore Bell of North Myrtle Beach, Bunnie Boswell of Greenwood; one brother, Gary Lewis of Tabor City, N.C.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the St. Paul United Methodist Church, with interment in the Isaac Gore Cemetery, Tabor City.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church fellowship hall.

Catherine D. 'Kay' Johnson
WHEELING, Ill. -- Catherine D. "Kay" Johnson, 76, retired from the Chicago area, formally from Holden Beach, Sunset Beach and Murrells Inlet, died Thursday, June 2, 2005 in Terre Haute, Ind.
She was born Nov. 4, 1928 to William and Martha (nee Gleason) Lynch in River Forest, Ill.
She is the beloved wife of Raymond C. Johnson Jr., loving mother of Michael Johnson, Linda (Cliff) Evola-Stewart and Gary (Lynn) Johnson; dear grandmother of Christopher, Jennifer and Amy and great-grandmother of Jorianna; fond sister-in-law of Mary Ann (Morris) Crowe and Russell (Sandra) Johnson and Sandy Johnson.
Kay was the manager of Holiday Inn, Highland Park for 25 years and in her free time she enjoyed travel, cards and sports.
The memorial service will be Friday, June 10, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling. Inurnment immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, Ill. Memorial visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
