SUPPLY, N.C. -- Coyet Hewett Gray, 86, of Stone Chimney Rd., died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004.
Funeral services will be Saturday, at 11 a.m. in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Galloway Cemetery, W. Supply.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Evangeline J. Dylla Kukulka
CONWAY -- Evangeline J. Dylla Kukulka, age 84, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004.
The beloved wife of the late Louis B.; loving mother of John (Kathryn), Daniel (Late Jane), and Susan (Robert) Bloom. Dearest grandmother of Richard (Jennifer), Elizabeth (Trevan) Koetz, Andrew (Jennifer), Steven and Jennifer Bloom and great-grandmother of four. Fond sister of Delia Sempck, Loretta Johnson, and Daniel (Jacqueline) Dylla. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, 11 a.m. from Bolingbrook-McCauley Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, to St. Francis of Assisi Church Mass, 11:30 a.m. Interment will be Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 3 to 8 p.m. (630) 759-1212.
Charles Ray Livingston Jr.
LITTLE RIVER -- Charles Ray Livingston Jr., 45, of Queens Road, at the Village at Bay Tree, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004 in Hickory N.C.
He was born July 17, 1959 in Salisbury, N.C., a son of Charles Ray and Marlene Freemon Livingston Sr.
Other than his parents, survivors include a brother, Daniel Livingston and three sisters, Tonya Hovis, Leona Lechetle and Christine Miller.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Baytree Golf Clubhouse.

Mary Dell McCants
GEORGETOWN -- Mary Dell McCants, 85, widow of Titus McCants, died Thursday, in Demorest, Ga.
Mrs. McCants was born Dec. 2, 1918. She was a member of the Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Gwen Cooper Alexander.
Surviving are, three sons, J. T. (Lessie Mae) McCants, of Georgetown, Joe (Kitty) McCants of Sumter, and Rev. Ron (Barbara) McCants of Eustis, Fla.; three daughters, Carol (Robert) Cook of Demorest, Ga., Mary (Alvin) Cooper of Greenville, and Ann (Kenneth) Connelly of Coward; a brother, Charles Taylor of Georgetown; a sister, Christine Smoak of Andrews; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at the Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery, directed by Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Georgetown Chapel.
Mary Lee Humphry McDaniel
MULLINS -- Mary Lee Humphry McDaniel died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the home of Kenny McDaniel, 4130 Double Loop Road, Mullins, S.C. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at McMillan Cemetery in Mullins. Meares Funeral Home is serving the family.
Tommie Prevatte
HAMLET, N.C. -- Tommie Prevatte, 52, of Lumberton, formerly of Hamlet, the son-in-law of James Calhoun and wife Hattie, of Conway, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004.
Mr. Prevatte worked for the City of Hamlet for 35 years and was known as the "gentle giant." Tommie is most remembered for his compassion and willingness to help people anyway possible. He was a dedicated worker, father, and husband. he retired and relocated to Lumberton due to illness in June 2004.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Calhoun Prevatte; daughter, Melina Prevatte; and son, Adam Calhoun of the home. Also surviving are his father, Frank Prevatte of Hamlet; a wonderful person he called his mother, Ruth Whitehead of Gibson; brothers, Martin Prevatte, and Kent Prevatte of Hamlet; Franklin Prevatte and Samuel Prevatte of Rockingham and Billy Wayne Prevatte of Laurel Hill; sisters, Mae Miles of Hamlet, and Wendy Prevatte of Rockingham; mother-in-law, Frances Nichols and husband Barry Leon of Lumberton, and many nieces and nephews.
Tommie is preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Prevatte, and sister, Ruth Prevatte.
The family will accept friends and family on Saturday 7 to 9 at Watson-King Funeral Home of Hamlet. The funeral will be Sunday at Hyde Park Baptist Church in Lumberton at 3 p.m. with burial to follow at Meadow Brook Cemetery.

Thomas G. Smith
MYRTLE BEACH -- Thomas G. Smith, 81, of Myrtle Beach, recently from Ft. Pierce, Fla., died Oct. 14, 2004 at home.
Born Dec. 15, 1922, in Johnstown, Pa., son of Virgil E. and Margaret E. (Dollard) Smith. Preceded in death by parents; son, Thomas J. Smith; grandson, Randy S. Smith; brothers, Edgar "Bo" and William; sister, Mary Catherine "Kay" Scott.
Survived by wife, Betty L. (Sheets); son, Dennis, married to Kathy Jane (Koontz) of Hamilton Square, N.J.; daughter, Cynthia married to Joe Ruisi, of Little River, and daughter, Claudia married to Dennis Stull, of Myrtle Beach, and the following grandchildren, Mark Smith, married to Patricia Rovnyak, Lawrenceville, N.J., Susan, married to Marc Storaci, of Jackson, N.J., Ryan Speigle married to Michelle (Clark), and Stacy Speigle, all of Jennerstown, Pa, Ashely and Kelli Stull of Myrtle Beach; great grandchildren, Bradley Speigle, Kyle Smith, and Nicholas Storaci; sister, Margaret (Peg) Ream of Johnstown, Pa., and brother, James of Hollsopple, Pa.
He lived in Somerset, Pa., for about 25 years where he was employed with Pennsylvania Harvestore and previously manager of catalog stores for Sears Roebuck & Co. Mr. Smith was Past Commander of the American Legion Post 294 in Johnstown, Pa. He served proudly in the Army Air Corp. during WWII i the South Pacific Theatre. He was a member of St. Anastasia's Catholic Church in Ft. Pierce, Fla. Before his health failed, he was an avid golfer and fisherman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Garden City. Interment will be at a future date in Somerset County Memorial Park, Somerset, Pa.
