MYRTLE BEACH -- Melissa Ann Keller, 36, of Island Green, died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at home.
She was born Feb. 5, 1967, in Martinsburg, W.Va., a daughter of Herman and Anna Mae Bowers Myers.
Survivors, in addition to her mother and father of West Virginia, include three daughters, Melinda Lowe of Hedgesville, W.Va., Samantha Lindstrom of Conway and Krystal Smith of Myrtle Beach; and two brothers, Bub Myers and Chris Myers, both of Martinsburg.
Arrangements will be announced by Grand Strand Funeral Home and Crematory.

MYRTLE BEACH -- Shawn Boyd Keller, 32, of Island Green, died Sunday, April 12, 2003, at home.
He was born June 17, 1970, in Martinsburg, W.Va., a son of Laura Keller White and the late Donald Charles Keller.
Survivors, in addition to his mother of Hedgesville, W.Va., include his daughter, Nicole Lynn Keller of Florida; three stepdaughters, Samantha Lindstrom of Conway, Melinda Lowe of Hedgesville and Krystal Smith of Myrtle Beach.
A memorial service will be at a later date.

Barbara L. Miles
MYRTLE BEACH -- Barbara Lynn Miles, 49, of Shetland Lane, died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
She was born Aug. 29, 1953, in Indianapolis, Ind., a daughter of Eleanor M. Green and the late Donald E. Minton.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include a son, Dorian J. Miles; a daughter, Megan C. Miles; sisters Donna J. Roemer, Debbie Metz and Deanna L. Hammond; and brothers Donald E. Minton and Al Green III.
Services will be private.

MYRTLE BEACH -- William Morgan, 61, died Friday, April 11, 2003, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be in Kings Port, Tenn.

Barrie H. Shipman
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH -- Barrie Hessler Shipman, 68, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 10, 1934, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., a daughter of the late Theodore M. and Jeanette Simmen Hessler.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Donald L. Shipman; two sons, Mark Shipman of Bethlehem, Pa., and Cameron Shipman of Allentown, Pa.; two daughters, Donna Acerra of Bethlehem and Bonnie Kerola of Espoo, Finland; and 13 grandchildren.
A memorial and celebration of life service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Lee Funeral Home in Little River. Burial will be private.

GEORGETOWN -- John Robert Simmons, 83, died Sunday, April 13, 2003.
Visitation will be at 3 p.m. today at the graveside in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
A graveside service will be at 4 p.m.

MURRELLS INLET -- Joseph Anthony Starks, 41, of Daphne Lane, died Sunday, April 13, 2003, at home.
He was born May 4, 1961, in Oneida, N.Y., a son of Donald and Angeline Guifre Starks.
He was a brick mason in the Myrtle Beach area.
Survivors, in addition to his parents of Canastota, N.Y., include his wife, Linda Ruth Starks; a daughter, Antonia V. Starks of Columbia; and a sister, Jacqueline Pexton of Oneida.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
