MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Katharine Moses Spain, 90, wife of the late Glennie Spain, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003.

GARDEN CITY BEACH -- Lucius Eugene Stacy Jr., 84, of Jensens Village, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at National Healthcare of Garden City.

SUPPLY, N.C. -- Robert E. "Bob" Vaughn, 71, of Gill Net Avenue, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at home.
No local services are planned.

Robert F. Vehec Sr.
MURRELLS INLET -- Robert Francis Vehec Sr., 60, of Blackmoor, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at home after an illness.
He was born Feb. 1, 1942, in McKeesport, Pa., a son of the late Steven and Theresa Bajura Vehec.
He was an insurance actuary for the state of
New Jersey and a fellow in the Society of Actuaries, a Past Grand Knight for St. Jude Council of the Knights of Columbus in Berlin, N.J., and a member of Matt Talbot Group in South Jersey. He was a friend of Bill W. and a member of St. Lawerence Catholic Church in Lindenwold, N.J.
He was predeceased by a son, Thomas Joseph Vehec.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Vehec of Murrells Inlet; two sons, Robert F. Vehec Jr. of
Florida and Edward Vehec of
New Jersey; two brothers, Michael Vehec and David Vehec, both of
Pennsylvania; a sister, Dorothy Welsh of
Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Brian Vehec, Staci Vehec, Robert Vehec III and Alicia Vehec; a great-grandson, Nathanual Vehec; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, beach chapel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Garden City. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Terry C. Williams
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH -- Terry Cockman Williams, 85, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 18, 1917, in Rockingham, N.C., a daughter of the late John Wesley and Wilma Terry Cockman.
She graduated from Rockingham High School and attended Lander College in Greenwood.
She and her late husband, James E. Williams, were former owners and operators of Fox Drug Co. in Rockingham. Prior to moving to North Myrtle Beach in 1979, she was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Rockingham. She was a member of the Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church and the Surf Golf and Beach Club, where she was active in the Ladies Golf Association.
Survivors include her children, James Edward Williams Jr. and his wife, Sue, of Winston-Salem, N.C., Glenn Fox Williams of Rockingham and Terry Cherry and her husband, Robert, of Boone, N.C.; and her grandchildren, James Edward Williams III, Cooper Branson Williams, Robert Lee Cherry III and Terry Elizabeth Cherry.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church in North Myrtle Beach.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Myrtle Beach Estates for the love and care that was given to their mother.

Harry Bernard
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH -- Harry Bernard, 83, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at home.
He was born in Dundee, Scotland, a son of the late Harry and Anna Bella Fleming Bernard.
He was a Navy veteran and a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Mims Bernard, of North Myrtle Beach; a son, David Bernard, of Massies Mill, Va.; a daughter, Susan Bernard, of Nellysford, Va.; a brother, Andrew Bernard, of Willington, Fla.; two sisters Mary Bentley of Ocala, Fla. and Helen Reopell of Ware, Mass.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The Rev. Bruno Swiatocha will officiate. Inurnment will be in National Cemetery in Long Island,
N.Y.

Viola Busbee
CONWAY -- Viola Busbee, 84, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003.
She was born May 7, 1918, a daughter of the late Estes and Isadora Anders.
She was a native of Hampton. She was a housewife who was happy being at home and taking care of her children. She believed in strong family values. She is renowned for her Christian spirit, sound advice and caring ways.
She was predeceased by her husband, Pink Busbee Sr.
Survivors include her daughters Myrtle Jones and her husband, Julius, Eyther Lynch and her husband, Willie, Stella Bellamy and her husband, Golden, and Dorethea Miller and her husband, Robert; five sons, Jerry Busbee and his wife, Mona Lisa, Charles Busbee and his wife, Lisa, Woodrow Busbee and his wife, Sarah, Arthur Lee Busbee and his wife, Linda, and Pink Busbee Jr.; 45 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Rhue's Mortuary, chapel one.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mason Temple Church of God in Christ. The Rev. James Lee will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church.
