GREEN SEA -- James E. Ham, 60, of Floyd Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at Conway Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Ham; 13 children; three sisters; a brother; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mitchell Sea Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Vanzie Vereen will officiate. Burial will be in Mitchell Sea Cemetery in Green Sea.

James E. Hammond
SURFSIDE BEACH -- James Edwin Hammond, 70, of Caropines, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at home.
He was born Oct. 5, 1932, in Greenville, a son of the late Delmer and Lavada Tullis Hammond.
He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean conflict. He was owner of Ed Hammond State Farm Agency in Charlotte, N.C., for 31 years.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Hammond; three daughters, Gloria Hicks of Los Angeles, Sandra Hunter of Fort Mill and Rhonda Hammond of Charlotte; a stepson, Ray W. Dudley of Naples, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Suzanne Adams and Tracy Dudley, both of Surfside Beach; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, beach chapel.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Wilbur Munnerlyn
PAWLEYS ISLAND -- Wilbur Munnerlyn, 86, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Waccamaw Hospital in Murrells Inlet.

CALABASH, N.C. -- Tyne P. Pulley, 69, of Bogie Lane, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at home.

Kathryn Richardson
MYRTLE BEACH -- Kathleen "Kathryn" Evelyn Jones Richardson, 87, of Kama Lane in Socastee, formerly of Galivants Ferry, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center after an illness.
She was born in Dillon, a daughter of the late Johnny Mack and
Georgia Emma Lovell Jones.
She was a member of Galivants Ferry Baptist Church and was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include four daughters, Marjorie Hewitt and her husband, Steve, of Myrtle Beach, Judy Graham and her husband, Leslie, of Galivants Ferry, Debra Eichholz and her husband, Danny, of Socastee, and Vickie Walters and her husband, Bill, of Murrells Inlet; two sons, Ed M. Richardson Jr. and his wife, Pat, and Ronnie G. Richardson and his wife, Stephanie, all of Myrtle Beach; special sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, James and Cappie Smith of Marion, Nellie Jones of Charleston, Madge Sherman of Mount Pleasant and W.T. Baker of Raleigh, N.C.; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Eddie Morris Richardson Sr.; five brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gordon Graham will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

ASH, N.C. -- Manuel Foy Smith, 88, of Longwood Road, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at home.

Thomas D. Temple III
GEORGETOWN -- Thomas Dixon Temple III, 69, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1933, in Racine, Wis., a son of the late Thomas Dixon Temple Jr. and Katherine McKellar Temple.
Following his graduation from the University of
South Carolina, he served as a captain in the Marine Corps in the United States and the South Pacific. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Social Fraternity and Sertoma International Service Club. He retired as a senior vice president from the Citizens and Southern National Bank of
South Carolina after 25 years. He had a master's degree in banking and finance from Rutgers University and taught business courses for seven years at Coker College. He was a communicant of Prince George, Winyah, Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Esther LaBruce Temple, of Georgetown; a son, Thomas D. Temple IV and his wife, Sally, of Columbia; a daughter, Deborah Temple Hokum and her husband, Robert, of Mount Pleasant; a brother, Robert M. Temple and his wife, Ann, of St. Matthews; and five grandchildren, Sarah LaBruce Temple, Mary Colvin Temple, and Thomas D. Temple V, all of Columbia, and Robert T. Hokum III and William L. Hokum, both of Mount Pleasant.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the home.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at All Saints Church, Waccamaw, Churchyard in Pawleys Island. The Rev. Paul C. Fuener and the Rev. Scott R. Fleischer will officiate.

Mary Warner
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Mary Hill C. Warner, 90, formerly of Surfside Beach, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at the Episcopal Church Home in Memphis.
She was a native of Wilmington, N.C., and a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Surfside Beach, where she served on the vestry. She was a resident of Surfside Beach for 25 years. She was a volunteer for more than 20 years at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, where she was named Volunteer of the Year in 1998. She was active in numerous civic organizations and helped found a literacy program in Horry County.
Survivors include two sons, William Warner of Louisville, Ky., and Myrtle Beach and James Warner of Memphis; two daughters, Martha Gardner and Mary Thorsburg of Memphis; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Monday at St. George's Episcopal Church in Germantown, Tenn. Burial will be at 1 p.m. today in Oakdale Cemetery in Wilmington.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 26, at the Church of the Resurrection in Surfside Beach.
