AYNOR -- Enrico A. Faulk died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, at home.
Visitation will be at 739 March Road in Aynor.

William W. Flynn
MYRTLE BEACH -- William Whitson Flynn, 86, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, at the Myrtle Beach Manor.
He was born Jan. 6, 1917, in Cleveland, a son of the late Edward and Grace Whitson Flynn.
He came to Myrtle Beach from West Virginia in 1978. He was a graduate of Catholic University in Washington, D.C., and a World War II Navy veteran. He was a district manager for C&P Telephone Co. of West Virginia and was active in the Telephone Pioneers of America. For many years, he volunteered at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center and Chapin Library in Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Call Flynn; three daughters, Theresa Smith of Black Mountain, N.C., Mary Kay Flynn of Myrtle Beach and Patricia Jebbia of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Annelise O'Connor, Christopher Haun, Kathleen Haun and Nicole Jebbia; and a great-grandson, Jonas John Jebbia.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Myrtle Beach. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Marilyn Y. Friend
MYRTLE BEACH -- Marilyn Y. Friend, 48, of Figure Eight Drive, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at home.
She was born March 30, 1954, in Ravenna, Ohio, a daughter of Darwin L. Friend Sr. and the late Leanna M. Giesey Friend.
She was formerly married to Rick Hargrove of Myrtle Beach.
Survivors, in addition to her father of Edinburg, Ohio, include a brother, Darwin L. Friend Jr. of Kent, Ohio; a sister, Darlene Bishop of Edinburg; and her lifelong companion, Dusty.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today at Socastee Baptist Church.
Grand Strand Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge.

Mary C. Fuller
MYRTLE BEACH -- Mary Cates Fuller, 86, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 25, 1916, in Kittrell, N.C., a daughter of the late George Fred and Lula Mary Bobbitt Finch.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Bill; and four brothers.
She was a motel manager in Myrtle Beach for several years and former beauty shop owner and manager. She was instrumental in helping raise funds to establish the Senior Center of Myrtle Beach by operating Mary's Store. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include her husband, James W. Fuller; a daughter, Peggy Abbott and her husband, Nigel, of Gulfport, Miss.; a son, Carvie C. Cates Sr. and his wife, Janice, of Charlotte, N.C.; three stepchildren; four grandchildren, Suzanne, Ramona, Carvie Jr. and Amy; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Timmerman will officiate.
Visitation will follow the service in the church parlor.
A second funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Union Chapel Methodist Church in Kittrell. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Kittrell.

Barbara E. Grate
CONWAY -- Barbara Elaine Grate, 27, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at home.
She was the daughter of Charles and Paulette Grate.
Survivors include five children, Deshawn Grate, Markquell, Mack, Tionna and Tianna McLeod, all of the home; two brothers; a sister; and many other relatives.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Old Loris High School. The Rev. John A. Brown will officiate. Burial will be in St. Stephens AME Church in Loris.

Richard D. Harrelson Jr.
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH -- Richard D. Harrelson Jr., 33, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003.
Arrangements will be announced by Lee Funeral Home and Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach.
Edward A. Howell
GARDEN CITY BEACH -- Edward Ashley Howell, 84, of U.S. 17 Business, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 22, 1918, in St. George, a son of the late Joseph E. and Lillian Heaton Howell.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran who received the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was the last walking Myrtle Beach postal carrier. He had attended Emmanuel Bible Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Chewning Howell; sons, Joseph Howell and his wife, Rachel, of Murrells Inlet and Virgil Howell and his wife, Denise, of Los Angeles; a daughter, Claudia Williams and her husband, Buddy, of West Columbia; brothers, John "Buck" Howell and his wife, Faye, of Oklahoma, and George Howell and his wife, Paula, of Sumter; and five grandchildren.
Visitation was at Goldfinch Funeral Home, beach chapel.
The funeral was Jan. 25 at the funeral home. Burial was in Ocean Woods Cemetery.
