GEORGETOWN — Mary Hampton, 69, died Monday, July 29, 2002.
Survivors include a son, Alvin B. Nelson; two sisters, Martha H. Shephard and Clander H. Eagle; and a niece reared as a sister, Lillie Coleman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 tonight at McKnight-Fraser Funeral Home, Georgetown chapel.
The funeral will be at 3 pm. Saturday at Cumberland AME Church.
Larry T. Harrelson
LORIS — Larry Thomas Harrelson, 52, of Long Point community, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at home after an illness.
He was born Sept. 17, 1949, in Loris, a son of the late Thomas and Esterleen Carter Harrelson.
He was a carpenter and a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Hardee and her husband, Shane, of Loris.
He was predeceased by a brother, Bill Harrelson.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Hardwick Funeral Home, Loris.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carter Cemetery.
Dorothy Hummer
MURRELLS INLET — Dorothy Hummer, 92, of Garden Manor, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at the manor.
Arrangements will be announced by Goldfinch Funeral Home, beach chapel.
James Jones
MYRTLE BEACH — James Andrew "Thomas" Jones, 25, of Old Woods Road, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at home.
He was born Feb. 14, 1977, in Georgetown, a son of James E. and Cindy Sing Jones.
He attended South Strand Assembly of God.
Survivors, in addition to his parents of Murrells Inlet, include his wife, Stephanie Maxey Jones; two stepsons, Shane Thomas and Brandon Eason, both of Myrtle Beach; a brother, Billy Jones of Murrells Inlet; two sisters, Beverly Edmondson of Garden City Beach and Melissa Ann Jones of Murrells Inlet; and his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Mew Jones of Socastee.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at South Strand Assembly of God, Murrells Inlet.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at South Strand Assembly of God.
Goldfinch Funeral Home, beach chapel, is in charge.
Bradley R. Martin
MYRTLE BEACH — Bradley Raymond Martin, 18, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at New Hanover Memorial Hospital, Wilmington, N.C.
He was born Aug. 1, 1983, in Las Vegas, a son of Joseph L. and Lucinda "Cindy" Best Martin.
Survivors, in addition to his parents of Myrtle Beach, include a brother, Joey Martin of Panama City, Fla.; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Millie Martin of Charlotte, N.C.; and his maternal grandfather, Garrison Best Jr. of Bessemer City, N.C.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, Myrtle Beach.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ken Timmerman will officiate.

MULLINS — Hazel Reaves Rogers died Wednesday, July 31, 2002.
Survivors include four sons, Thomas Rogers, John Rogers, Raymond Rogers and Robert "Happy" Rogers; a daughter, Betty Cooper; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Meares Funeral Home, Mullins.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mullins First Baptist Church.
Julius Scott Sr.
CONWAY — Julius Scott Sr., 73, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002.
He was a son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Ellen Smith.
He retired from the city of Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include a son, Julius Scott Jr. and a daughter, Sylvia Scott Wolfe; a son-in-law, Ivey Wolfe; six sisters, Everlene Bethea, Credell Johnson, Nellie Moore, Geraldine Rutledge, Angeline McNeil and Lou Ella Scott; a brother, Lonnie Scott; two sisters-in-law, Lou and Naomi Scott; eight grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
