Berta B. Weigle
LITTLE RIVER — Berta Bellamy Weigle, 95, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at home.
She was born July 17, 1906, in Wampee, a daughter of the late William Lewis and Ida Leigh Bellamy. She was the widow of Charles Gregory Weigle, who died in 1952.
She was the matriarch of La Belle Amie Vineyard and was raised on the farm where the vineyard is located. She was a graduate of Wampee School and of Memminger High School in Charleston and attended the College of Charleston and the University of
South Carolina.
Survivors include three daughters, June Bayman and her husband, Brad, of North Myrtle Beach, Carol W. Walker and her husband, Judge James D., of Macon, Ga. and Vicki Weigle of Little River; and four grandchildren, Tracy Walker, Ashley Walker, Jennifer Bayman and Ferris Bayman.
She was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
In her honor, La Belle Amie Vineyard will be closed Saturday.
Clemon J. Woodberry
CONWAY — Clemon J. Woodberry, 53, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at Meadows at Jordan Residential Center.
He was born Feb. 17, 1948, a son of the late Willie and Frances Woodberry.
He was a member of New Life Outreach Ministries.
Survivors include three sons, Allen Woodberry and Clemon J. Woodberry Jr., both of
New York, and Eric J. Woodberry; four brothers, Willie Woodberry Jr. and his wife, Debbie, and Charles Woodberry, all of
New York, Eugene Woodberry and Cleveland Woodberry and his wife, Christine, both of Conway; three sisters, Flossie Mae Williams and her husband, John, of Rains; Donna Billingsley and her husband, John, of Montgomery Ala., and Evangelist JoAnn Steele, and her husband, Elder Bennie, of Conway; four granddaughters, Shanashia, Tatiyana, Alana and Newborn; nine aunts and four uncles; a special and devoted friend, Candice Jefferys; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Rhue's Mortuary.
The Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church.

MYRTLE BEACH — Robert Edward Ansheles, 79, of Shore Drive, died Friday, March 29, 2002, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Warren H. Becker
MURRELLS INLET — Warren H. Becker, 70, of Jensen's Village, died Monday, April 1, 2002, at home.
He was born March 10, 1932, in Mount Kisco,
N.Y., a son of the late C. Everett and Agnes Pornay Becker.
He was a Navy veteran and served in the Korean conflict. He attended Eastern Nazarene College in Wollaston, Mass., and received a bachelor's degree in business form Qunnipiac College, Hamden, Conn.
He was employed with The Pond Lily Co. in New Haven, Conn., for 25 years where he was treasurer when it closed. He started his own accounting firm, Becker Associates Inc. in Wallingford, Conn., and retired in 1993. He moved to the Grand Strand in 1994 and became involved with Ocean Edge landscaping and irrigation where he became vice president and treasurer. He was a member of the National Association of Accountants and had been past president. He was active in the local Shell Club and was dedicated to the Nature Center at Ocean Lakes. He was a kind, loving man, dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed, but he left a heritage.
Survivors include his wife, Martha L. Becker; a daughter, Diana Becker Query and her husband, Richard, of Sandy Hook, Conn.; a son, George E. Becker and his wife, Denise, of Myrtle Beach; a granddaughter, Veronica A. Dale and her husband, Scott, of Lexington; a grandson, Shawn E. Becker of Myrtle Beach; a great-granddaughter, Madison Ann Dale of Lexington; and a brother, Lowell E. Becker and his wife, Nancy, of Davidsonville, Md.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Timberlake Baptist Church.

MYRTLE BEACH — William Henry Deegan Jr., 66, of Brandy Mill, died Monday, April 1, 2002, at home.
He was born March 6, 1936, in Waterbury, Conn., a son of the late William Henry Sr. and Malinda Cockayne Deegan.
He was a Navy veteran. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Blake Deegan; three daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Conway and her husband, Tom, Blake Deegan and her husband, Michael Osborne, and Catherine Deegan and her husband, Ron Owings, all of Myrtle Beach; two grandsons, Ryan Blake Conway and Jesse Adam Deegan, both of Myrtle Beach; a granddaughter, Blake Erin Osborne of Myrtle Beach; and a sister, Catherine McLeod of Bantam, Conn.
The funeral will be private.
