PHILADELPHIA — Gregory B. Ford, 30, died Thursday, May 23, 2002.
Survivors include his father, David Ford; two brothers, Kenneth Ford and Dennis Ford; a sister, Debra Ford; and his grandmother, Dora Pittman.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at Old Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Plantersville community.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the church.

Walter Founchious Sr.
ANDREWS — Walter Founchious Sr., 80, died Friday, May 24, 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Frances P. Founchious; a son, Kenneth Patterson; three daughters, Dennine Founchious, Frances Dickers and Cheryl Brown; six sisters; three brothers; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion AME Church.

Elizabeth B. Frierson
SANDRIDGE — Elizabeth Blain Frierson, 64, mother of Joey Frierson, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at a Los Angeles hospital after an illness.
Arrangements will be announced by McKiever Funeral Home, Conway.
Rueben W. Hewett
SHALLOTTE, N.C. — Rueben W. Hewett, 49, of Gray Bridge Road, Southwest, died Tuesday, May 28, 2002.
He was born in Southport, N.C., on Jan. 24, 1953, a son of Allie Blanton Hewett and the late George William Hewett.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Debbie Milliken Hewett; a daughter, Samantha Dawn Hewett of Supply; a brother, Wiley Hewett of Wilmington, N.C., and two sisters, Judy Andrews of Ash, N.C., and Nora Milliken of Shallotte, N.C.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Shallotte First Baptist Church. The Rev. Landis Lancaster and the Rev. Randy Gruber will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Shallotte, N.C.
Pall bearers will be Larry Branch, Wayne Branch, Tom Driver, Stevie Driver, Joey Andrews and Kelly Andrews.

Michael Mavroidis
LITTLE RIVER — Michael Mavroidis, 84, of River Hills, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 9, 1917, in Manhattan, N.Y., a son of the late Gerald and Helen Catania Mavroidis.
He came to Little River from East Meadow, N.Y., in 1988, was a member of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, Myrtle Beach, and was a decorated World War II Army Air Corps veteran. An avid golfer, he was a member of River Hills Golf Club.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Helen Tsistinas Mavroidis; a son, Dr. Michael Mavroidis of Campton, N.H.; a daughter, Andrea Christopher and her husband, Michael, of Waynesboro, Pa.; a brother, Sotiris Mavroidis of Bradenton, Fla.; two grandchildren, Niki Christopher and Michael Christopher Jr.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, Myrtle Beach, with a trisagion service at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. The Rev. George Zervos will officiate. Burial will be in Pinelawn Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.

Robert C. McIntyre
MARION — Robert Crawford McIntyre, 80, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at home after an illness.
He was born in Marion County, a son of the late Douglas and Jessie Milling McIntyre. He was the widower of Lionelle J. McIntyre.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Uncle Charlie's Hut Sunday school class.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and retired from the S.C. Highway Department after 37 years of service.
Survivors include a son, Robert C. "Bobby" McIntyre Jr., and his wife, Carolyn, of Conway; a daughter, Cynthia Thompson and her husband, Rex, of Columbia; two sisters, Florence M. Brown of Surfside Beach and Frances M. Fowler of Mullins; and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Douglas McIntyre Jr., and a sister, Virginia M. Allison.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Richardson Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mary E. Nangle
LITTLE RIVER — Mary E. Nangle, 77, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at Loris Hospital.
She was born Feb. 26, 1925, in Weymouth, Mass., a daughter of the late Robert and Bridget Burns. She was the widow of Charles J. Nangle.
She was a member of Brunswick Plantation and Golf Links and worked with the Camp Kemo Foundation.
Survivors include two daughters; Donnamarie Simpson of Little River and Karen Holt of Carpintria, Calif.; two sons, Craig Nangle of Las Vegas and Kyler Nangle of Baltimore; a brother, Allen Richard Burns, of Weymouth, Mass., and seven grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach. The Rev. George Moynihan will officiate.
Burial will be private.
