Alma H. Todd
LORIS — Alma Hardee Todd, 93, died Monday, Jan 21, 2002, at Loris Extended Care Facility after an illness.
She was born Feb. 29, 1908, in Loris, a daughter of the late J. Furney and Molsie Causey Hardee. She was the widow of Bentley W. Todd.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, retired Air Force Master Sgt. Charles L. Todd Sr. and his wife, Cathy, both of Myrtle Beach; Ricky R. Todd and his wife, Donna, both of Loris, and Burnice Todd of Wade, N.C.; three daughters, Mildred T. Cobb of Columbia; Willa T. Brown and her husband, Neil, both of Wilmington, N.C., and Sylvia T. Prince and her husband, Barry, both of Loris; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, retired Army Special Forces Master Sgt., Robert W. Todd and retired Air Force Master Sgt., Jimmy Dale Todd; four brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation was from 7 to 9 Tuesday at Hardwick Funeral Home.
The funeral will be will be at 3:00 p.m. today at Macedonia Baptist Church. The Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook will officiate. Burial will be in Holly Hill Cemetery.

MYRTLE BEACH — Robert Joseph Bank, 80, of Myrtle Beach Golf and Yacht Club died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at an Anderson Medical Center after an illness.

Bessie L. Bryant
CONWAY — Bessie L. Bryant, 74, of the Mount Calvary community, died Monday, May 27, 2002, after an illness.
Survivors include five daughters, Esther Wilson of Red Bluff, Pastor Brenda McZeke of Marion, Phyllis White of Loris, Shelia Berkley of Conway and Conswela Bryant of Conway; a brother, Harry Bryant, of Loris; five sisters, Emma Pratt, Arvella Dozier, Linda Richardson, Pearl Bellamy and Ruby May; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Leggette-Troy Funeral Home, Loris.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Claudia Crook
LORIS — Claudia Branton Floyd Crook, 55, died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at home after an illness. She was born June 24, 1946, in Loris, a daughter of the late Elijah Thomas and Lula Mae Carter Branton.
She worked as a machine operator with Talon Industries.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Patrick Crook, of Loris; a daughter, Barbara Floyd Grainger, of Galivants Ferry; two stepsons, Tom Crook of New Orleans, La., and Ken Crook of Hendersonville, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Barbara Cheesman of Holly Ridge, N.C., and Kelly Crook of Grover, N.C.; two brothers, Johnny and Bobby Branton, both of Loris; four sisters, Diane Altman, Mary Adams and Gloria Branton, all of Conway and Annie Lee Tisdale of Georgetown; three grandchildren; Brent and Tori Grainger of Galivants Ferry and Peyton Cheesman of Holly Ridge, N.C.
She was predeceased by a brother, Joe Branton; a sister, Ruby Merritt, and a daughter, Candy D. Floyd.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Hardwick Funeral Home.

James 'Reid' Dupree
MYRTLE BEACH — James "Reid" Dupree, 61, of Pine Hollow Road, died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Loris Community Hospital after an illness.
He was born Nov. 22, 1940, in Harnett County, N.C., a son of the late Haywood and Novella Pollard Dupree.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Woodhall, and her husband, Troy, of Myrtle Beach; two brothers, Bobby Dupree and his wife, Kathy, of Virginia and Glenwood Dupree of North Carolina; and two granddaughters, Shannon Woodhall and Stormi Woodhall.
The funeral will be private.

Sidney Graham
MYRTLE BEACH — Sidney Earnest Graham, 80, of Washington Street, died Saturday morning at home after an illness.
He was a son of the late Rev. Luther and Bessie L. Graham of Myrtle Beach. He was educated in Horry County Schools and was a member of Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he served on the trustee board. He served his country faithfully in the Army during World War II and was honorably discharged. He was co-owner of Graham's Exxon and a retired employee of Sears.
Survivors include his wife, Evelina Chestnut Graham, of Myrtle Beach; a son, Sidney R. Graham, and his wife, Iona, of Wichita Falls, Texas; four daughters, Ernestine Brown and her husband, Robert, Juanita Graham, Rose Mary Mitchell and her husband, Jackie, and Carol Ann Williams and her husband, James, all of Myrtle Beach; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Briton and her husband, Cleveland, and Catherine Garner, both of Myrtle Beach and Bessie L. Turner of Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Luther Graham Jr. and his wife, Ira, and Cecil Graham, both of Myrtle Beach.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Pine Island Cemetery.

BUFFALO — Guynella Miller Haney, 89, widow of Rufus W. Haney, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002.
Survivors include a daughter, Vera Jean Ray; a son, Joe T. Haney; four sisters; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Holcombe Funeral Home, Union.
