CONWAY — Regina Emma Goodyear Dodge, 75, of U.S. 701 South, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at home after an illness.
She was born in Dillon, a daughter of the late Mack and Ila Goodyear. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Warren E. Dodge of Conway; two daughters, Marlane Congdon of Foxboro, Mass., and Wendy Black of Conway, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters.
The service will be private.

WHITEVILLE N.C. — Harry Alfred Paxton Jr., 76, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbye Hodges Paxton; four daughters, Harriet P. Shaw, Mary D. Dugan, Frances D. Altman and Louise D. Euchler of Myrtle Beach; and six grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband; a son, John W. Nicholson; two grandsons; two brothers; and five sisters.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
Chapel in Hemingway. Burial will be in Garden of Devotion Cemetery.

LORIS — Ricky Oliver Cartrette, 45, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, after an accident.
Survivors include his mother, Myrtle Lee Watson; two sons, Lonnie LeRoy Cartrette and Richard "Ricky" Logan; two brothers, Terry Wayne Cartrette and Billy Michael Cartrette; a sister, Dianne Blackburn; and a half sister, Melodie Johnson.

PAWLEYS ISLAND — Mary V. Capizzi Corrado, 83, of Traditions at Willbrook, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 12, 1918, a daughter of Tommaso and Angelina Beatrice Capizzi. She was the widow of Louis Corrado.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary C. Hassell and her husband, Samuel, of Pawleys Island; three grandchildren, Samuel Hassell III of Maryland, Deborah Ann Schmidt of

North Carolina; and seven great-grandchildren.
