John Berley

Mr. Berley, 86, died December 20, 2004. Born in Pomaria, he was a son of the late Boykin B. and Sara Cromer Berley. He was a retired contractor, a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are his son, Ray Berley of Newberry; sisters, Edna Fuller of Winnsboro and Cynthia Aull of Pomaria; a brother, Alton Berley of Pomaria; two grandchildren and a close friend, Rose Harris. He was predeceased by a sister, Emmie Roof and a brother, Drayton Berley.
