Irving L. Wright
Irving L. Wright, 89, of Stony Lane, died Monday. He was the husband of the late Marjorie J. (Brayton) Wright. Born in Needham, MA, he was from a large family.
Mr. Wright was a veteran of The United States Navy, having served in World War II.
He was a machinist, a toolmaker, and an electrician specialist, having worked with Leviton until his retirement.
He was the father of Richard L. Wright Sr. of North Kingston and the grandfather of Richard L. Wright Jr.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 W. Main St., Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial with military honors will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
Joshua D. Parrillo
Joshua D. Parrillo, 24, of Warwick, died Tuesday at Kent Hospital. Born in Warwick, he was a beloved son of Lorna A. (VanBlarcom) Parrillo of Warwick and David Parrillo, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL.
Joshua was an Emergency Medical Technician for MedCare Ambulance Co. and had served in The United States Army. He graduated from Veterans Memorial High School in Warwick, class of 2003 and attended C.C.R.I. He enjoyed playing football in High School and for Warwick P.A.L.
He was the loving brother of David Parrillo, III and Stephanie Parrillo, both of Warwick. Beloved grandson of Richard and Dorothy (Enright) VanBlarcom, David and Patricia (Mason) Parrillo, Sr. and Eileen Jones. Caring nephew and cousin. Cherished boyfriend of Cindy Labonte.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Monday from 9:00 - 11:00 am with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial, with military honors, will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Donald J. Blair
Donald J. Blair, 83, of Post Rd. died Sunday at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of Marjorie (Carbary) Sessions Blair. Born in Quebec, Canada, he was a son of the late Rufus and Marion (Nicholson) Blair.
He was a fuel oil salesman for Texaco for many years retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Overseas Lodge #40 F & AM where he had served as a senior deacon. He was also a member of the American Legion Elmwood Post 60. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and an avid golfer.
Besides his wife he leaves his children: Donna of Narragansett, Robert of Shrewsbury, Ma, Richard of North Kingstown, Jayne of East Greenwich, his step children Robert Sessions and Claudia Badessa both of Florida, Pamela Wheeler of South Carolina and Brian Sessions of Warwick, 17 Grandchildren 4 great grandchildren. He also leaves a brother Charles W. Blair of Bradenton, FL.
A Requiem Eucharist will be held Wednesday at 10am in St Barnabas Church, Post Rd. Warwick. Calling hours Tuesday 4-7pm in the Urquhart - Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave. Greenwood, Warwick. Marie (Romano) Branca
Marie (Romano) Branca died peacefully on August 30, 2009 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston. She was the loving wife of the late Italo John Branca and the devoted companion of Atty. Anthony DePetrillo for over fifty years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Anna (Robbio) Romano.
Mrs. Branca was a long time resident of Cranston. She was a clerical worker and a saleslady for Cherry & Webb Company until her retirement.
Mrs. Branca leaves a son, John A. Branca and his wife Kathy of Providence, her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Branca of Cranston. She was the mother of the late Steven N. Branca. She was the sister of the late Louis Romano, George Romano, and Helen “Elena” Imbruglia. Mrs. Branca also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Lindsay M. Branca and Nicole T. Branca.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I95). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Gertrude R. (Anderson) ( Hunt, Carosi) Bushee
Gertrude R. (Anderson) ( Hunt, Carosi) Bushee, 83, a homemaker of Kingstown Road, died Wednesday at South County Hospital. She was the beloved wife of William F. Bushee and the late Aristide A. Carosi.
Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Carl V. and Regina M. (Gagnon) Anderson; she had previously resided in North Kingstown, East Greenwich, and Warwick.
Mrs. Bushee enjoyed sewing, knitting and decorating.
She was the loving mother of Carol J. Wheat of Warwick, Robert A. Carosi of North Kingstown, and William D. Carosi of Warwick. Caring step mother of Edward A. Carosi of Providence, William J. Bushee of Schenectady, NY, Robert C. Bushee of Wakefield, John D. Bushee of North Kingstown, and Judith A. Kierkoff of Scituate. Cherished sister of Robert Anderson of East Greenwich and the late Carl V. Anderson, Jr. and Harold F. Anderson. Devoted grandmother of fifteen and great grandmother of twelve.

Martha G. Centracchio
Martha G. Centracchio, 74, of Baker Street, died Sunday at Kent Hospital. A lifelong Warwick resident, she was a daughter of the late Guiseppe A. and Maria C. (Petrarca) Centracchio.
A Dietitian, Miss Centracchio served as Chief Service Supervisor and a Food Service Technician at Kent Hospital for 32 years until her retirement in 1984.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, West Warwick.
She was the beloved niece of Clara DiMascolo, Albert and John Petrarca, and Anthony Centracchio. Loving niece, cousin, and close friend to many. She was the sister of the late Louise A. and Rose C. Centracchio
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Norman E. Cotnoir
Norman E. Cotnoir, 88, of Shelley Drive, died Thursday at Shady Acres Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of Myrtle B. (Bigelow) Cotnoir. Born in Fitchburg, MA, he was a son of the late Eugene and Blanche (Marion) Cotnoir.
Mr. Cotnoir was an Electrical Engineer with Brown & Sharpe until his retirement in 1983. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1949. He was a member of St. Bernard Parish and the Knights of Columbus.
He was the loving father of Paul Cotnoir of Baxter, TN, Annette Nedeau of Tiverton, Jeanne Morra of North Kingstown, Marie Flanagan of Sevierville, TN, Robert Cotnoir of Cookeville, TN, and Christine DeSalvo of Richmond and their spouses. Caring brother of Leonard Cotnoir of Port St. Lucie, FL and Clement Cotnoir of Fitchburg, MA. Devoted grandfather of ten and great grandfather of two. Cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews.

John D. DeMello
John D. DeMello, 55, of Edgewater, Florida, died Wednesday at the Southeast Volusia Care Center. He was the beloved husband of Teresa DeMello.
Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late John and Bessie (McShane) DeMello.
Mr. DeMello was a welder for the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics Corp. until his retirement in 1989.
He served in The United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was the loving father of Charlene A. Ferreira of Bristol, John D. DeMello, Jr. of Greene, and Justin D. DeMello of Warwick. Caring brother of Elaine Parenteau of East Greenwich, Barbara Condon of Randolph, ME, Judith Copice of Las Vegas, NV, Robin Melancon of Warwick, Patricia Hockhousen of North Providence, Sandra Pignolet of West Warwick, and Theresa Smith of Evansville, IN. Cherished grandfather of three.
