Bertha A. (Cabana) Dufault
Bertha A. (Cabana) Dufault, 105, formerly of Central Falls, died Sunday at The Jeanne Jugan Residence.
She was the wife of the late John Dufault. She was one of six children born of the late Edward and Melvina (Lescault) Cabana; she had resided in Central Falls prior to moving to Pawtucket 15 years ago.
Mrs. Dufault was a machine operator until her retirement. She was a longtime communicant of Notre Dame Parish and an avid gardener, quilter, and knitter.
She was the beloved mother of Annette E. Fugere of Benton, Arkansas. Loving grandmother of Barbara A. Hardiman of Foster and John A. Fugere of Benton, Arkansas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 am in The Chapel of The Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at The Residence Thursday 9:30-10:30 am.

Edward M. Domenicone, Sr.
Edward M. Domenicone, Sr., 69, of Park Lane, died Thursday at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the companion of Eleanor Schneider.
Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Pasco and Claire (Murphy) Domenicone.
Mr. Domenicone worked for The State of Rhode Island at IMH.
He was the loving father of Mark E. Domenicone, of West Warwick, Edward M. Domenicone and his wife Laura of North Scituate, and Michael P. Domenicone and Robin A. Balzano, both of Coventry; cherished grandfather of Taylor Balzano, and Connor and Joshua Domenicone; caring brother of Joseph Domenicone of Johnston, Pasco Domenicone of North Scituate, and Robert Domenicone of North Providence.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:00am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am in St. Anthony Church, Maple Avenue, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Monday 5-8pm.
Carolyn J. DiTullio
Carolyn J. DiTullio, 53, of Congress Street, Warwick, RI, died Tuesday at Kent Hospital.
She was the former wife of Michael L. DelSesto. Born in Chelsea, MA, she was a beloved daughter of Alfred R. and Rosemarie “Lovey” (Schraffa) DiTullio of Franklin, MA.
Ms. DiTullio was an Educator for South Coast Collaborative and Previously taught blind students for the Warwick School System for 15 years.
She graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and received her Masters from Boston College and Rhode Island College.
Carolyn was a fun and loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and a vibrant friend to all. A true and lifelong friend to many from Needham High School. She had a passion for helping people.She was a loving second mother to many.
She was the loving mother of Sarah K. DelSesto and Lauren M. DelSesto, both of Warwick. Caring sister of Diane Brophy of Douglas, MA, Richard DiTullio of Marlborough, MA, Stephen DiTullio of Madison, WI, and Michael DiTullio of Franklin, MA. Cherished aunt of several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Mary Church, One Church Square, Franklin, MA. William W. DeRoin, Jr.
William W. DeRoin, Jr., 79, of Red Chimney Drive, a retired teacher and school administrator, died Wednesday at home. He was the husband of Pauline T. (Mahon) DeRoin.
Born in North providence, he was the son of the late William W. and Alice (DeRome) DeRoin.
Mr. DeRoin had lived in providence before moving to Warwick in 1974.
Mr. DeRoin taught in Franklin, MA from 1951-1953. He then taught math in Warwick at Lockwood and at Veterans Memorial High School before serving as Vice-Principal at Pilgrim High School, Veterans Memorial High School, and Toll Gate High School.
In 1975 Mr. DeRoin was appointed as Assistant Director of Secondary Schools in Warwick. He was a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the New England Association of Teachers of Mathematics. He was also a past president of the Rhode Island Association of Teachers of Mathematics.
He received his Bachelor of Education Degree from Rhode Island College of Education in 1951 and his Master of Arts Degree from The University of Rhode Island in 1960. He also studied at Boston College.
Mr. DeRoin was an accomplished musician who worked with the Ralph Stuart Orchestra and the Drew/Corcoran Orchestra.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, William R. DeRoin of Kansas City, Missouri and Thomas G. DeRoin of North Conway, New Hamshire; his beloved daughters-in-law Michele and Nancy; and a sister, Doris D. Tancredi of Providence. He was the brother of the late Jane MacInnes.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12:00pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Rt. 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Nora E. DePasquale
Nora E. DePasquale of Cranston, a clerical employee of the Providence Police Department for 16 years before retiring in 1991, died Sunday at home.
She was born in Providence, RI, the daughter of the late Joseph P. O'Kane and Ella M. (Nelson) O'Kane and had been a resident of Warwick and Cranston. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Martini and the late George A. DePasquale.
She was a member of the A.A.R.P., the Laborers International Union of North America Local 1033, and the Cranston Senior Center.
She is survived by a sister Alice M. Kerns of Johnston and a niece Carol Ann Correia of Sterling, CT.

Francis Jerome Davenport
Francis Jerome Davenport, 68, of Green Lane Road, Pawtucket, died Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Memorial Hospital of RI. He was the beloved husband of Judith Ann (Gilligan) Davenport.
A life long resident of Pawtucket, he was born in this city April 24, 1941.
A son of the late Christopher A. and Helene (Toomey) Davenport.
Mr. Davenport was a postal clerk, serving at the U.S. Post Office Darlington Station.
He had been a postal employee for forty years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a communicant of St. Leo the Great Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his devoted children, Stephen C. Davenport of Rumford, Kathleen Ann Correia of East Providence, and Colleen Mary Barrett of Hurricane, WV.
He leaves his brother, Rev. Fr. Christopher M. Davenport, Pastor of Saints Peter and Paul Church of West Warwick, his sister, Virginia D. Casey of Pawtucket.
He was the son in law of Mrs. Hilda (Bento) Gilligan of Wakefield.
Loving grandfather, of five grandsons and one granddaughter.
Survivors also include several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am in the church of St. Leo the Great, 699 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will take place with military honors at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, East Providence. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Casey Residence, 92 Pequot Road, Pawtucket, Monday 2:00-4:00 pm. and 6:00-8:00 pm. Kindly omit flowers.
