William R. McLeod, Jr. P.E.
William R. McLeod, Jr. P.E., 73, of Algonquin Dr., formerly of Red Chimney Dr., died Monday at R.I. Hospital.
He was the devoted husband of Nancy (Wainwright) McLeod.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William R. McLeod, Sr. and Mary E. (Bryden) McLeod.
He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from W.P.I. and held degrees from Johns Hopkins and an M.B.A. from U.R.I..
He was employed by Ciba Geigy and Borden Remington Co. in Fall River, Ma.
Bill was a trustee of the Varnum Continentals as well as a member of the Civil War Round Table.
Bill was the loving father of Jane M. Levenson and her husband Richard of Warwick, Lynne J. McLeod of Providence, and Douglas R. McLeod and his wife Ayu of Flower Mound, Tx.
He was the cherished grandfather of Zachary M. Levenson, Emily S. McLeod, and Kaitlyn P. McLeod.
His funeral will be held Monday at 11:00am in THE URUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Rt. 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95).
Friends and relatives are invited to the calling hours on Sunday from 4-7pm.
Burial will be private.

Exie M. (Breedon) McKeown
Exie M. (Breedon) McKeown, 89, of Hardig Road, died Sunday at Kent Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Thomas McKeown.
Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Craig) Breedon.
Mrs. McKeown was employed in the Accounting Office of Rhode Island Hospital for 30 years until her retirement.
She was the beloved mother of Alice C. Baker of Warwick.
Loving grandmother of Robin (Baker) Ferreira and the late John J. Baker.
Cherished great grandmother of Allison and Katelyn Ferreira.
She was the sister of the late Frederick, Robert, George, and Harold Breedon, Everett Savage, Irving Savage, Evelyn Bedulski.
Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday 5-7 pm.
Thornley E., “Gene” Marshall Jr.
Thornley E., “Gene” Marshall Jr., 72, of Fischer Drive, died Sunday at West Shore Health Center, Warwick.
He was the companion of Lynda E. Notte.
Born in Youngstown, OH, he was a son of the late Thornely E. Marshall Sr. and Emma A. (Dunlap) Marshall.
Mr. Marshall was a veteran of The United States Navy and Coast Guard.
He was a clerk with The U.S. Postal Service for twenty five years, and also an accountant in private practice.
Mr. Marshall was a soccer and baseball coach, a member of the North Kingstown Soccer Association, the North Kingstown Youth Recreational Groups, the South County Chapter of N.A.R.F.E., the Essex Social Group, the Senior Group at St. Francis de Sales and St. Bernard Parishes.
He was a U.R.I. Master Gardener and served many hours for that organization.
Mr. Marshall was a graduate of Bentley College.
He is survived by a son Timothy J. Marshall and his wife Jill of Greenville; a daughter Kimberly A. Holleran of North Kingstown; a brother Will Marshall of Pennsylvania; a sister Jane Houston of Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren Emma, Grace, Adelia, Ben, Annie, India, Jack and Evan.
He was the brother of the late Elizabeth Marshall.
His funeral will be held Friday at 8 am from THE CRANSTON - MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 W. Main St., Wickford Village, North Kingstown with a service at 9 am in The Chapel of The Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

Joseph F. Mansolillo
Joseph F. Mansolillo, 84, of Johnston, died Sunday at Rhode Island Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Margherita A. (Sasso) Mansolillo.
They would have celebrated their 60 th wedding anniversary on Saturday, August 22, 2009.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Amelia I. (DiZoglio) Mansolillo.
A retired funeral director, Mr. Mansolillo was the owner and operator of Joseph Mansolillo & Sons Funeral Home in Providence.
He was also the president of Mansolillo Insurance, Inc. in Providence and Johnston.
He was a graduate of The New England Institute in Boston and Bryant College and served in The United States Navy during WW II.
Mr. Mansolillo was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church.
An avid golfer, Joe was a longtime member of Alpine Country Club, a member of the U.S.G.A. and R.I.G.A. and a former member of Quidnessett Country Club.
He was also a member of American Legion Post #20.
He was the loving father of Dr. Joseph L. Mansolillo and his wife Sharon of Smithfield.
Cherished grandfather of Jay P. Mansolillo and his wife Becki of North Providence and Dr. Jeffrey B. Mansolillo and his wife Elena of Smithfield.
Loving great grandfather of Evan, Abby and Alexander.
Caring brother of Dr. Arthur L. Mansolillo of Warwick and Eleanor A. D'Uva of Cranston.
Devoted uncle of several nieces and nephews including Gregory C. Beals with whom he was very close.

Rita T. (Lefebvre) Leva
Rita T. (Lefebvre) Leva, 89, formerly of West Warwick, died Sunday at Riverview Health Center, Coventry.
She was the wife of the late Roland Leva.
Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Rainville) Lefebvre.
Mrs. Leva was a waitress at the Valley Country Club until her retirement in 1970.
She was a member of Christ The King Church, West Warwick.
She was the beloved mother of Donna A. Knott and her husband Herbert and Norma S. Fontaine and her husband Robert, all of Coventry.
Cherished grandmother of four and great grandmother of five.
She was the sister of the late Leonard, Leo, Oliver, Alfred, and Adelard Lefebvre.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Christ The King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick.
Burial will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

Florence M. (Powell) Lesneski
Florence M. (Powell) Lesneski, 77, of Victory Highway, died June 12, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Edward Lesneski, Sr..
Born in Newport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph L. Powell, Sr. and Mary (Wojnar) Powell.
Mrs. Lesneski was a Flea Market Vendor at Town & Country Vending.
She was a volunteer for the St. Charles Boromeo Church Soup Kitchen in Providence, Advent House Battered Women (Amos House), Aids Children, and St. Vincent de Paul Ministry.
She was the mother of Cynthia Bastien of Coventry, Joseph L. Powell, Jr. of North Dighton, MA, and the late Michael Lesneski and Edward Lesneski, Jr.
Loving grandmother of Kerrie Lesneski and her fiance Jason Cory.
She was the sister of the late Phyllis Medeiros.
