Ann R. (Napolillo) Colardo, 72, of Providence, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009. She was the wife of Robert W. Colardo.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonetta Spacagna and John Napolillo . Mrs. Colardo was an accounting clerk for the Providence School Department for many years before retiring.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Cathy Furia and her husband Vincent of Johnston, Barbara L'Europa and her husband Vincent of North Providence, and Lisa ( Colardo ) Palka of Delray Beach, Florida. She was the mother of the late Paula Lucchetti. She also leaves her son-in-law, William Lucchetti of North Kingstown, her sister, Evelyn Carpentieri and her husband Gene of East Greenwich, and her grandson, whom she lived for, Robert “Bobby” Lucchetti. She was the sister of the late Norma Ortoleva.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from the HOEY-ARPIN-WILLIAMS-KING Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Augustine Church, Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8pm.
Harold M. Hass

Harold M. Hass, 95, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009 at Golden Crest Nursing Home, North Providence. He was the husband of Victoria (Crescitelli) Haas.
Mr. Haas was retired from the U.S Navy.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Lesley A. Procaccini, of Cranston, two granddaughters, Lindsey Procaccini, of Providence and Hilari Bellorado of Connecticut, and one great granddaughter Hannah Bellorado. He was also the father of the late Robert Haas.
The funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements by the HOEY-ARPIN-WILLIAMS-KING Funeral Home.
Ida M. Agostinelli

Ida M. Agostinelli, 87, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph Agostinelli.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Fabiano and Grazia (Patrone) DeQuattro.
Mrs. Agostinelli was a textile worker for the former Atlantic Mills for many years and was a member of The Manton Senoirs.
Besides her husband she is survived by a sister Livia Donnelly, of Providence and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Francine A. Agostinelli and the sister of the late Armando DeQuattro.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the HOEY-ARPIN-WILLIAMS-KING Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston, relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8. John "JB" Borrelli

John "JB" Borrelli, 83, of Greenville Ave., died peacefully Wednesday, surrounded by his family at Miriam Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Ursula (Supinski) Borrelli and long time companion, the late Janet DePasquale.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Vincenzo and Lucia (Martino) Borrelli he had lived in Johnston. He was a Navy WWll veteran and a member of the South Kingstown Elks. He was a retired Civil Servant where he worked as a firefighter at Quonset until he became disabled.
A lover of cooking, Sinatra, and the Yankees he spent his summers at his beloved cottage in Roy Carpenter's Beach Matunuck, where “the sun was always shining”.
He was the father of the late James Borrelli and is survived by his sons, David and wife Jane and Richard Borrelli, Lori Ann DeSimone, Angela Cotter, and David DePasquale. He was the grandfather of Alisha, Andrea Borrelli-Felber, Richard Jr., David, Jonathan, and Marissa Borrelli, Christopher and Brianna DeSimone and Veda Cotter. He was also the great grandfather of Jason Lopes, Damian and John Borrelli and Tyler Nolette. He was also the brother of Antonio Borrelli, Katherine Marzilli, and the late Vincent Martini.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10AM from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence, RI. Calling hours are Sunday 3-6PM. Burial with Military Honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. ARRANGEMENTS BY SUPINSKI & BORRELLI.
Thomas W. Shanley

Thomas W. Shanley, 78, of New Port Richey, FL and formerly of Roanoke Street, Providence, RI died Saturday, May 2nd at Community Hospital in New Port Richey, FL. He was the loving husband of Louise E. (Styborski) Shanley. They were happily married for 38 years.
Born in Providence he was son of the late John J. and Anastasia (Healy) Shanley. Mr. Shanley was a Teacher and Administrator in the Providence Public School System for over 33 years until his retirement in 1990. He was a 1948 graduate of LaSalle Academy and a 1954 graduate of Providence College at which time he was commissioned an officer in the United States Army. Mr. Shanley also graduated from Boston University with a Masters degree in Counseling, as well as a Masters degree in Elementary Administration from Providence College.
Mr. Shanley was a long time member and supporter of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Providence and more recently Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in New Port Richey. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Providence Teachers' Union Retired Chapter, and Colony Cove Social Association. He was also a former board member of the Colony Cove Cooperative and former treasurer of the Colony Cove Golf League. He was a long time season ticket holder of Providence College basketball, an avid Red Sox fan, and had a great appetite for politics.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter Ellen Albanese and her husband Gregory of Cranston, and a son Thomas Shanley, Jr. and his wife Adrienne of East Greenwich. Mr. Shanley is also survived by his brother John Shanley and his wife Judith of Concord, MA, and his sister Mary West and her husband George of Providence. He was an adoring grandfather to Michael, Jacob, and Jenna Albanese and Claire Shanley. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Avenue. Visiting Hours are Thursday 4 - 7 pm. Graveside burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations to Blessed Sacrament Church Endowment Fund, C/O 239 Regent Avenue, Prov., RI 02908 would be appreciated.
Paul Redkovich

Paul Redkovich, 83, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
He was the husband of the late Barbara (McBride) Redkovich. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Feodor and Pauline (Pilz) Redkovich.
Mr. Redkovich was a construction superintendent for HM Soule and Marshal Contractors for forty years before retiring.
He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II, serving with the 490th Bombing Group.
He was a longtime member and past president of the Beagle Club, Cumberland. He was a Rhode Island State Marksmen for forty years.
He is survived by his children, Paul Redkovich II, Sharon and Paul Oliveira, his grandchildren, Steven and Elyse Oliveira and Kate and Marty Pyne. He was the brother of the late Fred Redkovich.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road (Route 122), Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland.
Burial with military honors will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery, North Attleboro, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm in the O'Neill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI, 02860, would be appreciated.
Mary (Palumbo) DiTomasso

Mary (Palumbo) DiTomasso, 92, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Saint Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Joseph DiTomasso.
Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Marco and Maria (Abatiello) Palombo.
Mrs. DiTomasso was a waitress over twenty five years for Woolworth's, formerly of Pawtucket and Providence, retiring in 1977.
She is survived by two sons, John DiTomasso and his wife Joyce of Columbia, Maryland and Steve DiTomasso and his wife Joann of Cumberland; two sisters, Evelyn Kawa and Josephine Patuto, both of Cumberland; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Agnes Castaldi, Theresa Palombo, Adeline Trepanier, Betty Zoglio, Bianca Iavevaia, John and Marco Palombo.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9am from the O'NEILL Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours Wednesday 4-8.
