Lucille Rocheleau, 88, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009. She was the wife of the late Florent “Chick” Rocheleau.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia (Rivet) Robidoux.
Mrs. Roceleau had lived in Cumberland for the last fifty five years. She enjoyed walking with her special friends.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Rocheleau and his wife Linda and Retired Cumberland Deputy Police Chief Paul Rocheleau and his wife Lisa, a brother, Leo Robidoux, three sisters, Annette Archambault, Theresa Mandeville, and Helen Theroux, she is also survived by her grandson, Jarrad Rocheleau. She was the sister of the late Lilly Delisle, Gloria DeGrande, George, Henri, Armand, Phillip, and Edgar Robidoux.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Saint Jean The Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8pm. Beatrice L. Egan, 82, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009. She was the wife of John J. Egan Jr.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Rene and Mary (Ryan) Bessette. Mrs. Egan had lived in Pawtucket and East Providence before moving to North Providence five years ago.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, John Egan III of Boston, MA, Michael Egan of Colchester, CT, and Timothy Egan of Peachtree, GA, a daughter, Maureen Gamblin of Manchester, NH, two sisters, Betty Marshall and Barbara DiPaola, both of Warwick, and ten grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Rene Bessette.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart Church, 38 Park Street, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8pm. Carol A. Houle, 70, of East Providence, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Houle.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Brown) Durand.
She is survived by four sons, Joseph Jr., Eugene, James and Roger Houle, three daughters, Deborah Peltier, Jacquline Houle, and Rebecca Miniati, one sister, Jane Barlow, three brothers, Theodore, Douglas, and Peter Durand, sixteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Joseph Houle III, and the sister of the late Ronald and John Durand.
A Committal Service will be held Thursday at 10am in the Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours Wednesday 4:30-7:30pm in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage, Pawtucket.

Pasqualina Elvira DiClemente (DiRoberto), 86, of Hendrick St., passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009. She was the widow of Giuseppe DiClemente.
Born in Sant'Apollinare, Frosinone, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Giovanna (Valente) DiRoberto. As a young woman she cared for her family, including during the second World War. She tended garden, and cared for the earth calling herself ‘la campagnola.'
She immigrated to the United States in 1954, making her home in Providence with her husband Giuseppe DiClemente and their family. Throughout her life, she cared passionately for her neighbors, her community, and all her extended family. Mrs. She was a jewelry worker, retiring from the Quill Company.
Mrs. DiClemente is survived by her son Joseph DiClemente, two daughters, Anita Boschetti and Eva Colvin, a brother, Salvatore DiRoberto, a sister, Maria Rega of London, England, and five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded by Dante DiClemente.

John Chrzanowski

John Chrzanowski, 94, of Waveland St., died Tuesday at home with his loving family and close friend. He was the loving husband of Melania (Cendrowska) Chrzanowski.
Born in Dusze, Poland, a son of the late Adam and Anna (Jablonska) Chrzanowski, John came from Germany to the United States where he lived in Providence for 10 years before moving to Johnston 50 years ago. Mr. Chrzanowski was a soldier in the Polish Calvary in World War ll where he was captured by the Germans and spent five and a half years in Stalag 11, Nuobrandburg.
He was also a member of the Polish National Home Association.
Besides his loving wife “Melcia” of 57 years, he is survived by his loving son Andrew and brother Jozef Milewski of Poland, many nieces, nephews and friends. He was also the father of the late John Joseph Chrzanowski and the brother of the late Hendryk Chrzanowski, Maria Sokolowska, Leokadia Niczikowska, and Anna Wlodkowska.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9AM from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence, with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Adalbert's Church, Atwells Ave., at 10AM. Barbara Crimmins, 77, of Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, March 03, 2009. She was the wife of Daniel Crimmins.
Born in Kearny, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late William and Melita (Flammer) Davis. Mrs. Crimmins had lived in Cumberland for fifty years.
She was the parish secretary for 23 years for Saint Joan of Arc Church, Cumberland.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Daniel and Kenneth Crimmins, both of Aiken, South Carolina, Michael Crimmins of Saratoga Springs, New York, a sister, Shirley Ronan of North Providence, ten grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. She was the sister of the late Willette Ahearn.
The funeral will be held Monday at 8:30am from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Gerard E. Rioux, 66, of Woonsocket, passed away Wednesday, March 04, 2009.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Bernadette (Jalette) Rioux and the late Eugene Rioux.
Mr. Rioux was a Quality Control Inspector for St. Gobaine Co. of Milford, MA for several years, retiring in 2004.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a son, Glenn Rioux of Cumberland, two brothers, Eugene and Richard Rioux, and a sister, Suzanne Ducharme, all of Woonsocket. He also leaves his grandson, Corey Rioux.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30am from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in Saint Joseph Church, Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday 5-8pm. Burial will be private.
