Elizabeth J. McGarry

Elizabeth J. McGarry, 74, of Pawtucket, passed away Friday, January 23, 2009. She was the wife of the late Thomas McGarry.
Born in Malone, New York, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Christi (LeBelle) LaMondie.
Mrs. McGarry was a Wardrobe Coordinator for various theatres for twenty nine years, retiring in 1993. She had lived most of her life in Pawtucket.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas McGarry of Pawtucket, and Michael McGarry of Woodstock, Maryland, three grandchildren, Derek, Kyle, and Enya McGarry, she also leaves three brothers and one sister.
A Service will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11am in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations the Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care, 750 Washington Street, NEMC #0716,Boston, Massachusetts 02111, would be appreciated.
Barbara M. Hervieux

Barbara M. Hervieux, 59, of South Attleboro, MA, passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of Dennis Hervieux.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Ruth (Richter) Rabau. Mrs. Hervieux had lived in Lincoln before moving to South Attleboro fourteen years ago.
She was a sales clerk for Macy's in North Attleboro, MA for four years, retiring in 2008.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Ronald Smith Jr. of Cheetowaga, NY, her daughter, Tonya Parmenter of Little Valley, NY, her step-daughter, Tennille Hervieux of Milford, MA, six sisters, Shirley Lemire and Linda Landry both of South Attleboro, Marcella Bergeron and Jo-Ann Guindon, both of Pawtucket, Janet Bartlett of East Providence, and Kathleen Turgeon of Cumberland, a brother Maurice Rabau of Central Falls, and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9am from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Leo The Great Church, 697 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Make a Wish Foundation, 75 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI, 02910, would be appreciated.

Mary R. Mousseau, 91, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2009. She was the wife of the late Edward Mousseau Sr.
Born in Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Sarah (McKenna) Gagnon. She had lived most of her life in Cumberland.
Mrs. Mousseau was a Real Estate Agent for the former Keough & Kirby Agency of Woonsocket and Cumberland. She was a former member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She is survived by four sons, Edward Jr., Gustave, James, and Thomas Mousseau, two grandchildren, Gary Mousseau and Amy Stewart. She was the sister of the late Edward, Francis, Joseph and Paul Gagnon.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 10am in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Saint Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI, 02860, would be appreciated. Robert A. McCaffrey

Robert A. McCaffrey, 77, formerly of Cumberland, died peacefully, Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the beloved husband of Catherine (Crawley) McCaffrey.
Robert McCaffrey, Bob or Mac to most, was born in Central Falls, the son of the late Thomas and Anita (Landry) McCaffrey. He served in the USMC and in 1953 he became a dedicated member of the Rhode Island State Police, retiring as a Lieutenant in 1974. He then became a manager in Security Operations at Bell Atlantic for seventeen years. Bob and Cathy celebrated their lives in Cumberland before retiring to Onset, MA and Green Acres, FL for the past seventeen years.
In addition to his wife of fifty-five years, he is survived by his children: Mary Lou and her husband Jim Healey, Stephen, Sean and his wife Ann, JoAnn Cosgrove, Sharon and her husband Peter Baptiste, and Patti and her husband Kevin Lowe. He leaves his grandchildren Justin, Siobhan, Michael, Katie and Shannon and his great granddaughter Arianna Lou. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas McCaffrey and his sister Eleanor McCaffrey.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 9am in Saint Aidan Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Friday 4-8pm in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road (Route 122), Cumberland. Donald D. Stryson

Donald D. Stryson, 55, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Doreen (Parker) Stryson.
Donald was born and raised in California, he had lived in North Providence before moving to Cumberland fourteen years ago.
He was an independent Truck Driver for thirty years before retiring in 2008 due to illness. He was an avid motorcyclist and was associated with a local motorcycle club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Cody Timmerman, two brothers and three sisters, all in California, his mother-in-law, Rita Toolin and her husband George.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 10am from the O'NEILL Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Saint James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8pm. Katherine, A. (Cichon) Fidrych, 88, of Enfield Ave., died Saturday at her home. She was the widow of Matthew A. Fidrych.
Born in Warren, a daughter of the late Jozef and Carolina (Marcyan ) Cichon, she had been a Providence resident most of her life. Mrs. Fidrych was employed as a spinner by the former Atlantic Mills of Providence.
She is survived by a daughter Carolann Carr and her husband Joseph and a granddaughter Sarah Carr. She was the sister of the late Ignatius Cichon.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9AM from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence, with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Adalbert's Church, 866 Atwells Ave., Providence, at 10AM. Calling hours Tuesday 4-7PM. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Isabelle Haslip, 77, of Rehoboth, passed away Monday, February 9, 2009. She was the wife of the late George Haslip Sr.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Isabelle (Leamy) Del Padre.
She is survived by three children, George Jr., John, and Cheryl Haslip, three grandchildren, Kimberly, Kristy, and Briana Haslip, three great grandchildren, five sisters, Mary Slater, Margaret Roma, Patricia Myers, Carol Grafton, and Kathleen Crowley, two brothers, John and David Del Padre, she also leaves her sisters-in-law, Carol Turner and Valerie Del Padre. She was the sister of the late Barbara DiPanni and Donald Del Padre.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11am in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Burial will be in RI Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8pm.
