Wanda H. (Zawacki) Judenis
December 24, 2008

Wanda H. (Zawacki) Judenis, 87, of Coventry died Wednesday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Maude St. She was the widow of Stanley C. Judenis, Jr.

Born in Detroit Michigan, a daughter of the late Stanley and Stacia (Maciorowski) Zawacki, she had lived in Providence most of her life before moving to Coventry 16 years ago.

She was employed as a medical supply packager for the former Everett Products of Lincoln.

She was a member of the St. Adalbert's Holy Rosary Sodality and Senior Citizens.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Julie Scallon and Donna Morgan, a son Michael and his wife Mildred Judenis and son David Judenis, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Rudolph Zawacki and Regina Szetela.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9AM from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence,with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Adalbert Church, Atwells Ave., at 10AM. Calling hours Friday 5-8PM. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., STE 3004, Warwick, RI 02886-2233. Arrangements by SUPINSKI & BORRELLI.

Catherine J. Robert
December 28, 2008

Catherine J. Robert, 79, of Cumberland, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of Norman R. Robert. They were happily married for 60 years.

Born in Skaneatlas, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Blanche (Patterson) Milliman. Mrs. Robert had lived in Cumberland for the last 49 years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Robert of Woonsocket, a brother, Robert Milliman, and four sisters, Elizabeth Barnes, Nancy Rotatori, Mary Meunier, and Jean Benjamin. She was the sister of the late James Milliman and Helen Sarazin.

A Service will be held Friday, January 2, 2009 at 11:30am in the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will be private.

Russell Laboissonniere
January 1, 2009

Russell Laboissonniere, 80, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, January 01, 2009 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Dare (Green) Laboissonniere.

Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Frank and Marie (Dube) Laboissonniere. Mr.Laboissonniere was a carpenter for thirty two years, retiring in 1991.

He was an army veteran of Korean War, and had served in the military over thirty years.

He was a member of the Carpenters Union, Local 342, Eugene Lefebvre VFW Post 1272, Central Falls, and the Cumberland Senior Center.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Darlene Read and Doreen Cote, his grandchildren, James, Stephanie, and Lisa, his sister, Therese Tougas. He was the brother of the late Roger, Gerard, Leopold, Fernand, Rene, and Blanche Laboissonniere, and Jeanne Plouffe.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 9am in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements by O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, Cumberland.

Isabella R. Iannuccillo
January 3, 2009

Isabella R. Iannuccillo of Providence died Saturday at home.

Born in Providence she was daughter of the late Tommaso and Vincenza (Sciarretta) Iannuccillo.

Miss Iannuccillo was a Saleslady for the former Garr's Fabric Store for 35 years before her retirement.

She leaves her sisters Viola M. Iannuccillo with whom she lived, Mrs. Salvatore (Rose) Cesaro of Smithfield, Mrs. John (Rita) McNeill of Narragansett, Several nieces and nephews and was sister of the late Elvira, Iolanda and Mafalda Iannuccillo.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 6 th , 2009 in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue Providence at 10 am. A Graveside Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours are respectfully Omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Blessed Sacrament Church Endowment Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements by Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, Providence.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Swanton
January 4, 2009

Jacqueline “Jackie” Swanton, 73, of Mendon Road, Cumberland, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late William and Aida (Hargreaves) Pendlebury.

Jackie had lived most of her life in Pawtucket before moving to Cumberland eight years ago.

She is survived by a daughter, Eileen “Sally” Swanton of Cumberland, two sons, Mark Swanton of Seekonk, MA, and James Swanton of Johnston, a sister, Alice Pendlebury of Johnston, two grandchildren, Kyle and Corey Swanton. She was the sister of the late Margaret Csisar, Ada Filippi, Beatrice Jubainville, William, James, and Theresa Pendlebury.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Wednesday 5-8pm in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Burial will private.

Lillian M. Casavant
January 7, 2009

Lillian M. Casavant, 84, of Ashburne Street, passed away Wednesday, January 07, 2009 at the Pawtucket Health Center. She was the wife of Jules Casavant.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaus and Marie (Dias) Fortin.

Mrs. Casavant worked as an inspector for the former RI Textiles for several years before retiring. She had lived most of her life in Pawtucket.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Roy Casavant of Providence, Paul Casavant of North Providence, Robert Casavant of Greenville, Tennessee, and Glenn Casavant of Pawtucket, one daughter, Rhea Gepner of Pawtucket, thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves her cousin, Constance Bousquet of Seekonk, MA. She was the sister of the late Theresa Picard, Jeanne, Emil, Roland, and Aurel Fortin.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Monday, January 12, 2009 from 4-7pm in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Burial will private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI, 02860, would be appreciated.

Hugh E. Heaney
January 9, 2009

Hugh E. Heaney, 81, passed away peacefully Friday, January 9, 2009 at home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Barbara (O'Neill) Heaney. They were happily married for sixty years.

Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Hugh and Alice (Sharkey) Heaney. Mr. Heaney was the owner of the former Rattey's Car Hop which was originally located on West avenue and later Newport avenue before closing in 1971. He later worked with his son Edward, Heaney's Carpet Installation.

He was a World War II navy veteran.

Besides his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Barbara “Bonnie” Corrente, Sharon Plante, Colleen Sherratt, Lynne Wilmarth, and Lisa Bouley, two sons, Hugh “Eddie” Heaney Jr. and Michael Heaney, a brother, James Heaney, a sister, Sister Margaret Heaney, RSM, 26 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Joseph and Raymond Heaney.

The funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Mary Church, Pine Street, Pawtucket. Burial with military honors will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI, 02860, would be appreciated.
