Anne was a lifelong learner.

Her other passion was cooking for her family, which she pursued as an Assistant Cook for the Cumberland School Department.
She served school lunch every day with a smile to her children and later her grandchildren at Garvin Memorial School, until her retirement in 1980.
Anne taught her family to find and pursue their passion in life.
Anne married Z. Jerry Aissis in 1946.
They built a home together in Cumberland, RI, where they lived their entire lives.
They were blessed with three wonderful children- Jerry, Mary Anne, and Rose, ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
