Donald A. Delahunt

Donald A. Delahunt, attorney, 89, of Providence, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of the late Bianca (Carella) Delahunt.
Born in Chicopee, MA, he was the son of the late Harold and Winifred (Bird) Delahunt.
Mr. Delahunt was a graduate of Providence College and Harvard Law School. He was a practicing attorney in Pawtucket and Providence for 54 years until his retirement in 2003.
He served in World War II as a bomber pilot flying 37 missions over Germany and was honorably discharged as a Captain of the US Army Air Corps.
He was a past member of the RI Bar Association, American Bar Association, Pawtucket Bar Association, former 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the University Club where he loved the game of squash.
He is survived by a son, Harold Delahunt and his wife Sherry of North Kingstown, three daughters, Donna Biafore and her husband John of Cranston, Judith Verrier of New York City, and Patricia Smith of Pennsylvania, nine grandchildren, David and Derek Delahunt, Christopher, Andrew, and Daniel Biafore, Ashleigh and Kyle Verrier, and Michelle and Jennifer Brewer, two great grandchildren, Francesa Biafore and Christopher Biafore Jr., he also leaves his brother Frank Delahunt of Cumberland.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:30am from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Leo The Great Church, 697 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial with military honors will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation Tuesday 8:30-9:30am, prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, 222 Richmond Street, Providence, RI, 02903, would be appreciated.
Angela Rossetti

Angela Rossetti, 95, of Mendon Road, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 26, 2008 at Miriam Hospital.
Born in Milford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Mary (Trotta) Rossetti.
Ms. Rossetti had worked in a family business, New England Homes of Cumberland for the last 50 years. She was a lifelong resident of Cumberland. She graduated from the former Portia Law School, now Suffolk Law School in 1934.
She is survived by a brother, Joseph A. Rossetti and his wife Ann of Cumberland and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elena DiCenzo.
The funeral will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 10am from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-7pm.
Carol C. (Pellerin) Goodier

Carol C. (Pellerin) Goodier, 55, of Mt. Pleasant Rd., Harrisville, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Richard Goodier. They were happily married for 34 years.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Grace (Reardon) Pellerin and the late Normand Pellerin. Carol had lived in Harrisville for 29 years. She was a supervisor for Amica Insurance of Lincoln where she worked for 15 years. Carol also was a dance aerobics instructor at the YWCA in Woonsocket for 25 years.
Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joys in life. Carol is survived by her four children, Daniel and his wife Jill, Keith and his wife Kara, Rebecca and Brad Goodier. She was the loving and devoted grandmother to Hannah and Sydney. She also leaves four sisters, Linda Lake, Patty Turcotte, Susan Vollucci, Grace Savastano, and a brother, Norman Pellerin. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, Douglas Pike, Harrisville. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road (Rte. 122), Cumberland. Manuel Teixeira Jr.

Manuel Teixeira Jr., 75, of Woodbury Street, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008. He was the husband of Geraldine (Carpenter) Teixeira.
Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Manuel and Mary (DeFrietas) Teixeira. Mr. Texeira was a horticulturalist at Roger Williams Park for the City of Providence for 33 years before retiring in 1995. He also owned greenhouses at Silvia's Florists.
He had lived in Providence before moving to Pawtucket 15 years ago.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mary-Louise Teixeira of Newport, Vermont, and a son, Manuel-Louis Teixeira of Pawtucket, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9am from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart Church, Park Street, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8pm.
Irene C. (Chagnon) Tanguay

Irene C. (Chagnon) Tanguay, 79, of Mount View Drive, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of Leo R. Tanguay.
Born in Otter River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Marguerite (Lamarche) Chagnon. She had lived in Cumberland for 45 years.
Mrs. Tanguay was an office manager for the former Save-Rite of Woonsocket for 20 years, retiring in 1991.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Lucy Richards, Lee Tanguay, Lisa Tanguay-Berrios, and Lynne Daigneault, her son-in-law, Ron Daigneault, two sisters, Rita Florence and Estelle Wood, a brother, Lawrence Chagnon, four grandchildren and one great grandson.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7pm.
Eva (Modelski) Forrest

Eva (Modelski) Forrest, 93, of Hillcrest Village, Leander Street, died peacefully at home. A lifelong resident of Providence, she was the wife of the late Henry Peter Forrest.
She was a dietary aide at Roger Williams Medical Center before retiring in 1980. She was a former volunteer for Women & Infants Hospital and the former secretary of the Hillcrest Village Violet Hill Club.
She is survived by three sons, Edward and William Forrest of Providence and Raymond and his wife Jo-Ann of North Providence..
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 8:30am in the HOEY-ARPIN-WILLIAMS-KING Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Teresa Church, Manton Avenue, Providence. Constance Joann (Jones) Niquette

Constance Joann (Jones) Niquette, 62, of Woonsocket, died Friday, June 13, 2008 at home surrounded by her loving family after a 3 1/2 year courageous battle with breast cancer. Mrs. Niquette moved to Woonsocket in 1966.
She leaves her husband Raymond J. Niquette. They were to celebrate their 42nd wedding anniversary on the 18 th of this month.
She was the daughter of the late Wayne D. and Lillie B. (Beamer) Jones and is survived by her siblings Linda McCoy of Pittsburg, KS., James Jones of Netawaka, KS., and Hugh W. Jones of Holton, KS. Connie is also survived by her children, Raymond Niquette Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Greenville, James Niquette and his wife Monica of Woonsocket, and Robert Niquette and his wife Stacey of Cumberland. She leaves six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Chelsea, Alexander, Riley, Keira, and Lily.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 9am from O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland.
