Joan J. Baillie, 73, of Lantern Lane, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Richard G. Baillie.
Born in Lincoln, RI, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Turgeon) Bachand. She had lived most of her life in Cumberland.
She is survived by two daughters, Amy Baillie of Cumberland and Jennifer Lussier and her husband Louis of Monterey, CA, a brother, George Bachand of Cumberland, and two granddaughters, Alyssa Baillie and Charlotte Lussier. She was the sister of the late Rita Watt.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9am from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 10, Warwick, RI, 02886, would be appreciated.
Raymond B. White

Raymond B. White, 92, of Regent Avenue, passed away Friday, February 08, 2008 at Heritage Hills Nursing Home, Smithfield. He was the husband of the late Mary (Mainey) White.
Born in Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Clifton and Myrtle (Gunn) White. Mr. White was a truck driver for the Providence Journal for several years, retiring in 1984.
He is survived by two sons, Harold White of Warwick, and Richard White of South Kingstown, three daughters, Judith Hall of Barrington, Jane Green of East Providence, and Mary Anne White of Warwick, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. He was the father of the late Gerald and Paul White. He was the brother of the late Harold White. He was the grandfather of the late John Hall.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the HOEY-ARPIN-WILLIAMS-KING Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Dorothy V. Arnold

Dorothy V. Arnold, 72, of Delray Beach, Florida and formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Norwalk, Connecticut, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI.
Born in Berlin, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late John and Eileen Williams. Dorothy worked in the hotel and restaurant business for many years before retiring early last year.
She is survived by a son, David Arnold and his wife Joanne of Cumberland, RI, a brother, Thomas Williams of Ocala, FL, three grandchildren, Grace, Lydia, and Nicholas Arnold, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, February 8, 2008 in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI. Burial will be private. Joseph N. Hindy

Joseph N. Hindy, 83, of Sunset Drive, passed away Monday, February 4, 2008 at the RI Veteran's Home, Bristol. He was the husband of Alice (Banna) Hindy.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Bahia (Jangi) Hindy. Mr. Hindy had lived in Central Falls before moving to North Providence 17 years ago.
He was a navy veteran of World War II. He was a machinist for Wardwell Braiding of Central Falls for several years before retiring. He was a member of the choir and the senior citizens at Saint Basil's Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Nicholas Hindy of Seekonk, MA, Joseph Hindy of Johnston, Brian Hindy of North Providence, and Kenneth Hindy of Attleboro, MA, two daughters, Elaine Baskins of Central Falls, and Brenda Person of North Providence, a brother, William Hindy of California, 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Lori Hindy.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 8, 2008 at 10am in Saint Basil The Great Church, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial will be in Saint Basil's Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8pm in St. Basil's Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Basil's Building Fund, would be appreciated. Nellie (Miga) Lukasiewicz

Nellie (Miga) Lukasiewicz, 91, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Orchard View Manor, East Providence. She was the wife of the late William Lukasiewicz. They were happily married for 58 years.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Peczar) Miga. Mrs. Lukasiewicz was a payroll clerk for Allendale Manufacturing of North Providence for 20 years, retiring in 1979. She had lived most of her life in Providence before moving to East Providence in 2004.
She was past president of the Rosary and Altar Sodality, a lifelong communicant, a choir member, and former secretary at St. Adalberts Church.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. William Lukasiewicz and his wife Nancy of Barrington and Dr. Ronald Lukasiewicz and his wife Linda of Carlsbad, California, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William Miga.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30am from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Adalbert Church, 864 Atwells Avenue, Providence, RI. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 8:30-9:30am, prior to the mass. Patricia Ouellette, 74, of Cumberland, left this earth on January 26, 2008. She was the wife of the late Donald Ouellette. Patricia and Donald are joined once again in heaven.
Mrs. Ouellette had lived in Cumberland for the last 37 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Phillips of North Carolina, Donna Ouellette of Pennsylvania, and Christine Melia of Rhode Island, and two grandchildren, Jamie Funk of Pennsylvania and Christopher Hawkins of California.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 9am from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Mildred E. (Gladue) Dardeen, 84, of Providence passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 25 th. She was the wife of Wilford Dardeen for the last 63 years.
Born in Bristol, RI, Mildred was one of 8 children of the late Medas and Lena (O'Brien) Gladue.
She leaves her children Linda Ann Lombardi, of North Providence, James R. Dardeen, of Johnston, Brian K. Dardeen, of Providence and Jill M. DiDonato of Providence. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Burial will be Private. John McKenzie

John McKenzie, 63, of Slater Street, Pawtucket, passed away on April 20, 2008 at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Rita (Chicoine) McKenzie.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John P. and Helen (Greenwood) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie worked in the Sanitation Department for the city of Pawtucket for many years.
He is survived by one daughter Elaine McKenzie of Pawtucket, two stepdaughters Barbara Montijo of Seekonk, Christine Marotti of North Providence, one stepson Kenneth Dolan of West Palm Beach, Florida, one brother Dennis McKenzie of Colorado Springs, Colorado, three step-grandsons, and two step-granddaughters.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pawtucket 12pm Friday. Arrangements by PRATA FUNERAL HOME.
