Lillian L. (Gaetano) Morin

Morin, Lillian L. (Gaetano), 54, of Kimball Street, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and close friends after a four year courageous battle with breast cancer, Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of Joseph Morin.
Born in Everett, MA, she was the daughter of Lorraine (Godwin) Gaetano of Cumberland and the late Edward Gaetano. Mrs. Morin was a registered nurse employed at the Landmark Medical Center Outpatient Senior Center, Woonsocket and Comprehensive Psychiatric Services, Cumberland. She had lived in Cumberland for the last 30 years.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter, Lisa Boyle of Cumberland, her son, Stephen Morin of Cumberland, her three brothers, Charles Reinhart of New York, Thomas Gaetano of Woonsocket, and Victor Gaetano of Revere, MA, her four grandchildren, Meghan, Caroline and Tague Boyle, and Matthew Morin. She was the sister of the late Angela Montgomery.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church, 128 Greene Street, Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Fain Oncology, C/O, Miriam Hospital, 164 Summit Avenue, Providence, RI 02906, would be appreciated.
Rita Salois

Rita Salois, 87, of Stearns Street, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. She was the wife of Joseph Salois.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Champagne) Tetreault. Mrs. Salois had lived in Pawtucket for over 60 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Hockenson of Pawtucket, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Lucille Bechard. She was the sister of the late Oscar, Albert, Raymond, Paul, and Leo Tetreault.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Cecilia Church, 1253 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Cecilia Church, would be appreciated.
Sayoud (Boudjouk) Boudjouk

Boudjouk, Sayoud (Boudjouk), 101, of Branch Avenue, Cumberland, RI, passed away at home on Friday, April 27, 2007, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Bashir Boudjouk.
Born February 26, 1906 in Aleppo, Syria, she was the daughter of the late Salim and Milo (Okko) Boudjouk. She immigrated to the United States of America forty years ago and settled in Central Falls and then in Cumberland.
She was a member of the Aleppian Aid Society and Ladies Auxiliary and also a member of St. Basil the Great Ladies Sodality.
She is survived by her three sons, George and his wife Kawsar Boudjouk, of Cumberland, Agib and his wife Nadia Boudjouk, of Cumana, Venezuela, Samir and his wife Hanaa Boudjouk, of Lincoln. Also survived by three daughters, Victorine Boudjouk, of Cumberland with whom she resided, Nelly and her husband Albert Kishfy, of Manville, Lydia and her husband Robert Gaboriault, of Cumberland.
Also survived by daughter-in-law Janet Boudjouk, of Maracaibo, Venezuela. Mother of the late Michel Boudjouk. She is survived by 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A family of whom she loved greatly and will be missed immensely.
A liturgy of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, May 2nd , 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Basil the Great Church, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln, RI. Burial will be at St. Basil Cemetery in Cumberland, RI. Calling hours at St. Basil the Great Church from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1 st , 2007. Arrangements by Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Basil the Great Building Fund would be appreciated.
Frederick Mulhare Jr.

Mulhare, Frederick Jr., 85, of Hatfield Street, passed away, Sunday, April 22, 2007 at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of the late Helen (Sondermann) Mulhare. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Frederick and Bridget (Horan) Mulhare.
Mr. Mulhare worked for the City of Pawtucket for 51 years, retiring as a supervisor in 1986. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Spizuoco MD of Syracuse, NY, and Maureen Hurley of Rumford, two sons, Michael Mulhare of Coventry and John Mulhare of Pawtucket, a sister, Irene Delahunt of Cumberland, and 9 grandchildren, Brendan, Michaela, and Kathleen Mulhare, Mary, Elizabeth, and Michael Spizuoco, and Devhan, Thomas, and Julia Hurley. He was the brother of the late Mary Mulhare.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9am from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Teresa Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.

Jeanne M. (Bouley) Fournier

Fournier, Jeanne M. (Bouley), 84, of Castle Road and for the past 8 months, Evergreen Nursing Home, East Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Herve Fournier.
Mrs. Fournier had lived in South Attleboro, MA for 52 years. She had worked for the former Korb's Bakery for several years before retiring. She was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by three daughters, Elaine Mooney of Seekonk, MA, Pauline Boisvert of E. Providence, and Denise Duhamel of S. Attleboro, a son, Paul H. Fournier of S. Attleboro, MA., seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Theresa's Church 18 Baltic Street, S. Attleboro, MA.
Burial will be in RI Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8pm.
Emil Joseph Klufas, MD

EMIL JOSEPH KLUFAS, MD, 86, of Tobie Avenue, Pawtucket, RI, died peacefully at home on April 17, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of Irene (Flys) Klufas.
Born in Lezachow, Ukraine, on May 24, 1920, Dr. Klufas was the son of the late Rt. Rev Cannon Ivan and Maria (Tuna) Klufas. His father was a Ukrainian Catholic priest in western Ukraine.
Dr. Klufas graduated from the Classical Gymnasium in Lviv, Ukraine. He obtained his medical education at the University of Lviv and at the University of Vienna. After the conclusion of World War II, he completed his medical education at the Karl Eberhardt University in Tubingen, Germany. He immigrated to the United States in 1949.
Dr. Klufas served his medical internship at Columbus Hospital in New York and completed a General Practice Residency at the Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI in 1955. He was a physician in private practice for 37 years with offices in Central Falls and in Cumberland. He was on the active medical staff of Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and of Landmark-Fogarty Hospital, and was a member of the Pawtucket Medical Society. Dr. Klufas was widely known for his kindness, compassion, and dedication to his patients and profession.
Dr. Klufas was a communicant of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Woonsocket, RI. He was a past president of the New England branch of the Ukrainian Medical Society of North America. He was especially happy to have lived to see the independence and establishment of an independent Ukraine.
Dr. Klufas was a beloved father and husband. He took great pride in the achievement and accomplishments of his five children. Besides his wife, he leaves his five children, Alexander Klufas, MD of Chester Springs, PA, Adrian Klufas, MD of Easton, CT, Lydia A. Klufas, DDS of Seekonk, MA , Michael Klufas, MD of Pawtucket, RI, and Roman Klufas, MD of Seekonk, MA. He is also survived by sister, Martha Doberchak, of New York City and twelve grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brothers Professional engineer Orest, Dr. Roman, Dr. Vsevolod , Dr. Myroslaw, Dr. Markian and Dr. Switaslaw Klufas and his sisters Luba Mosewycz, Dr. Teodozia Sawyckjy, Halia Kinasewycz and Daria Prokop.
The funeral will be held at the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket on Saturday 8:30 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Ukranian Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Hamptonburgh, NY. Calling Hours, Friday 4-8 pm. Parastas will be celebrated at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine via the Ukranian Catholic Education Foundation-UCEF, 2247 W.Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622.
