FREDERICK FARIA - East Providence
FREDERICK FARIA, 76, of Bay View Avenue, a retired maintenance worker, died Monday at home. (Buck) Faria.
He was the husband of Nancy C. Born in East Providence, a son of the late Sergio and Francis (Azevedo) Faria, he lived in the city all his life. He worked in the maintenance department at Ryder Truck Rentals of Warwick for 17 years, retiring in 1994. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Florence Faria of East Providence. He was a brother of the late Eva Pascone and Mary, Margaret, Frank and Edward Faria.
The funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans cemetery, Exeter.

JACQUELINE L. GALLANT - Woonsocket
JACQUELINE L. GALLANT, 59, formerly of East School Street, a retired assembler, died yesterday at the Woonsocket Health Center.
She was the wife of the late Romeo B. "Bennie" Gallant.
A lifelong Woonsocket resident, she was a daughter of Lucille (Barras) Auclair of Woonsocket and the late Rene T. Auclair.
Mrs. Gallant was an assembler at A.T. Cross of Lincoln for five years. She retired in 1995.
Mrs. Gallant was a member of the Franco-American Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Smithfield Knights of Columbus.
Besides her mother, she leaves three brothers, Rene P., Roger A. and Raymond A. Auclair, all of Woonsocket. She was the sister of the late Robert H. Auclair.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 414 South Main St. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans cemetery, Exeter.

ROBERT A. REMILLARD - Woonsocket
ROBERT A. REMILLARD, 54, of Mason Street, died Friday in Landmark Medical Center. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of Yvonne Marks, in Maine, and the late Albert Remillard.
Mr. Remillard was employed by C&N; Auto Body before becoming disabled.
Besides his mother, he leaves a son, Ronald Remillard of Woonsocket; three brothers, Wilfred Remillard of Hiram, Maine, Raymond Remillard in Florida, and Roger Remillard of Woonsocket; a stepbrother, Joseph Ravenelle of Woonsocket; three stepsisters, Anna Deschamp of Wrentham, Mass., Marie Gagnon of Bellingham, Mass., and Lois Laflamme of Millville Mass. He was the longtime companion of Madeline Desrouchers of Woonsocket.
A service of remembrance will be held tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd.

MARY (BLAIR) ROBERGE - Woonsocket
MARY (BLAIR) ROBERGE, 76, of 169 Farm St., a retired insurance company employee, died yesterday in her home.
She was the wife of the late Henri O. Roberge. Born in Woonsocket on Oct. 24, 1924, she was a daughter of the late George I.C. and Sarah (Alyward) Blair. She lived in Wooksocket all her life.
Mrs. Roberge had been employed as a personal lines analyst for the Keough-Kirby Insurance Co., retiring in 1994. She was a member of John Hancock Retirees.
She leaves four sons, William G. Roberge of Pawtucket, John H. Roberge of Brookline, Mass., James D. Roberge of Westford, Mass., and Thomas E. Roberge of Woonsocket; a daughter, Teresa M. Roberge of Blackstone, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Ann) Yakuboff of Zephryr Hills, Fla.; and 7 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the Kilcline Funeral Home, 304 North Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Charles Church, 190 North Main St. Interment will be in St. Charles cemetery, Blackstone.

JEAN M. SELWYN - West Warwick
JEAN M. SELWYN, 71, of Country Drive, a retired telephone operator, died Monday at Kent County Memorial Hospital after being stricken at home.
She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Selwyn. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward V. and Margaret M. (McGrath) Healey Sr. She lived in West Warwick since 1963, moving there from Providence.
She was a telephone operator for the former New England Telephone Co. for 33 years, retiring in 1983. She was member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Rhode Island Arthritis Foundation.
Mrs. Selwyn leaves a daughter, Jean M. Costa of Warwick; three sons, Mark T. Selwyn of Exeter, Michael J. Selwyn of Warwick, and Joseph E. Selwyn of West Warwick; a brother, Edward V. Healey Jr. of Cranston; a sister, Margaret M. Foster of South Kingstown and Delray Beach, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Bernard A. Healey.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick. A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 in St. Mary Church, 70 Church St., West Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann cemetery, Cranston.

YVONNE (FORCIER) CARON - West Warwick
YVONNE (FORCIER) CARON, 96, of Earl Street, a retired saleswoman, died yesterday in Kent County Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of Edward Caron. They were married
for 76 years. Born Jan. 3, 1905, in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and Matilda (Millette) Forcier.
Mrs. Caron was a saleswoman at the former J.J. Newberry's store for 10 years before retiring in 1970.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Edward P. Caron of Costa Mesa, Calif.; five daughters, Doris Malikowski of Coventry, Rose Coit in Florida, Gertrude Anderson of Scituate, Jeannette MacCoy in Connecticut, and Paulette Turcotte of West Warwick; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the R. Potvin & Son Funeral Home, 45 Curson St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in Christ the King Church, Legris Avenue. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.

MARY L. VIENS - West Greenwich
MARY L. VIENS, 92, of Mishnock Road, a former house mother, died yesterday in Kent County Memorial Hospital, Warwick.
She was the wife of the late George A. Viens. Born July 8, 1908, in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Francis V. and Sarah A. (Cunliffe) Coyle, she lived in West Greenwich since 1964, previously living in West Warwick.
She was a house mother at the Eleanor Slater Hospital for 10 years before retiring in 1975.
Mrs. Viens was a communicant of SS. John & Paul Church, and volunteered for 20 years from 1975-1995, cleaning the church.
She leaves a daughter, Eileen Kenahan Klein of Narragansett; three sons, Arthur J., George F., and Richard T. Viens, all of Coventry; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Dorothy W. Amend.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Robert A. Iannotti & Sons Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in SS. John & Paul Church, South Main Street. Burial will be in SS. Peter & Paul cemetery, Coventry.

ERIC J. DICKOVICK - Warwick
ERIC J. DICKOVICK, 21, of Newfield Avenue, an auto reconditioner, died Monday in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.
Born in Taunton, a son of Donna L. (Gendron) Ferreira of Warren and Donald J. Dickovick of Dighton, he lived in Rhode Island for the last several years.
He was an auto reconditioner with the Car Store, Pawtucket, for the past six months.
He attended Case High School, Swansea.
Besides his parents, he leaves a stepfather, David Ferreira of Warren; a sister, Crystal M. Dickovick of Fall River; a maternal grandmother, Eleanor Dias of Warwick; paternal grandparents, Donald and Julie Dickovick of Milford, Conn.; and a niece.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Birchcrest Home of Waring-Sullivan, Ashton, Coughlin, Driscoll, 189 Gardner's Neck Rd., Swansea. Burial will be private
