Irene S. Botelho (Sousa)
Irene S. Botelho (Sousa), 83, formerly of Elm St., died Thursday in The Holiday, Manville. She was the wife of the late James J. Botelho.
Born (4-10-20) in South Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Cypriano and Theresa (Gomes) Sousa. She was a life long Cumberland resident.
She was a floor lady, employed by Hasbro Industries, Pawtucket for many years retiring in 1974.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland.
She leaves one son, Arnold K. “Ronnie” Conover of Pawtucket. A brother, Arnold Sousa and a sister Sarah Cahalan both of Cumberland. One niece and four nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Raul Souza Sr. and Anthony
Souza.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.

Cecile Ladouceur (Demers)
Cecile Ladouceur (Demers), 92, of 10 Rhodes Ave. and formerly of Kennedy Manor, Woonsocket died Tuesday in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket .
She was the wife of the late Anai Ladouceur.
Born ( 5-11-11 ) in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Odias and Odile (Dupuis) Demers. She was a life long Woonsocket resident.
She was employed for a number of years by the former Miller Electric Co., Woonsocket, retiring in 1976. She had previously been employed by the former French Worsted Co., Woonsocket for over 40 years.
She was a member of the Kennedy Manor Tenants Association, the Dames de St. Ann and was a member of the St. Louis and St. Joseph Senior Citizens.
She leaves a daughter, Lucille G. Paulhus of Cumberland, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Edgar Demers Raymond Demers and Germaine Ladouceur.

Paul S. Semenkow
Paul S. Semenkow, 76, of Rhode Island Avenue, died Monday in the Home and Hospice Care Inpatient Unit, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Celesta (Grasso) Semenkow.
Born (8-11-1927) in Brockton, MA he was the son of the late Isidore and Proska (Chawelwonsk) Semenkow. He resided in Cumberland since 1962, previously residing in Brockton, MA.
He was a claim supervisor for the Aetna Life and Casualty Insurance Company, working out of both the Brockton and Providence offices for 15 years, retiring in 1986. He was named the employee of the year for developing the Drive-In Claim System, now a standard in the industry. He was previously employed in the Automobile industry.
He was a World War II, Navy Veteran.
Mr. Semenkow was a communicant of the St. Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. He was a member of the AARP, the Cumberland Seniors. He was an avid bowler, participating in leagues at Walnut Hill Lanes, Woonsocket.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Paul J. Semenkow of North Attleboro, and James A. Semenkow of Lincoln, and a daughter, Debra A. Stowik of Cumberland. Seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

Barbara A. Cianfarani (Carina), 57, of 15 Ridgewood Road, died Wednesday (1/28/04) in the Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island Inpatient Unit. She was the wife of Ronald Cianfarani.
Born (12-5-1946) in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Isabel (Micelli) Carina. She resided in Cumberland for the past 20 years, previously residing in Texas, and California for a number of years.
She was an Administrative Assistant for the Ballou Home for the Aged, Woonsocket, for four years.
Besides her beloved husband, she leaves one son, Gregory Cianfarani of Warwick. Two daughters Rebecca Lambert of Cumberland, and Jennifer D'Arezzo of Coventry. Two sisters, Elaine Haskell of Taunton and Robin Legendre of Attleboro. Six grandchildren, Olivia D'Arezzo, Jacob D'Arezzo, Justin D'Arezzo all of Coventry, Alexandra Cianfarani, and Lindsay Cianfarani both of Warwick, and Cora Lambert of Cumberland.

Michael E. Crocker
Michael E. Crocker, 49, of 24 Goddard Street, died Wednesday in the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the husband of Anne (Scullin) Crocker.
Born (3-30-1954) in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Chadwick) Crocker II. He was a life long Cumberland resident.
He was a general manager for the Cohn Heating Supply of Providence for the past 12 years.
He was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Broad Street, Cumberland.
Besides his beloved wife he leaves two sons, Michael E. Crocker Jr. of Lincoln, and Danuel P. Crocker at home in Cumberland. Two daughters, Kristen M. Crocker of North Providence, and Sara A. Crocker at home in Cumberland. Two brothers, Joseph Crocker of Cumberland, and Arthur I Crocker III of Pawtucket. Three sisters, Margaret Maynard of East Providence, Kathleen Hunter of Cumberland, and Christine Durvin of Lincoln. Several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Paul Crocker and Sarah A. Crocker.

Robert E. Dandurand
Robert E. Dandurand, 73, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Murphy Drive, died Saturday in the Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, Florida. He was the husband of Theresa (Caron) Dandurand.
Born (7-27-1930) in Valley Falls, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late George and Alice (Richards) Dandurand. He resided residing in Cumberland for most of his life, moving to Florida for the past three years.
He was a Machinist for the former Corning Glasworks of Central Falls, now Osram-Sylvania, for 33 years, retiring in 1992.
He was a US Army war veteran serving during the Korean conflict.
He was a former communicant of the St. Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Linda Anderson of Attleboro, MA. and a son, Robert D. Dandurand of Warwick, RI. One sister, Georgette Hebert of Cumberland. Three grandchildren, and several neices and nephews. Brother of the late Henry Dandurand.

Antonio A. Ribeiro, 80, of 32 Macondray Street, died Monday in the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the wife of Carmen (Gouveia) Ribeiro.
Born (11-4-1923) in Attleboro, MA he was the son of the late Joaquim and Celia Ribeiro. He resided in Cumberland for the past 53 years.
He was a self-employed mason for Anthony and Freria Construction Company of Cumberland for 17 years until his retirement in 1969.
He was a US Navy World War II veteran.
He was an active member in the Oasis of Grace Church, Providence. He was a member of the ASPCA. He was a former member of the Pawtucket, F.O.P.A. Mr. Ribeiro also enjoyed animals, music and was an avid auto enthusiast.
Besides his wife he leaves one son, Richard T. Ribeiro of Manville, RI, and a daughter, Carmen M. Ribeiro of Sterling, Ct. Five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.

Fred Darlington Jr., 72, of 16 Douglas Drive, died Thursday in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Joan (Greene) Darlington.
Born (10-17-1931) in Pawtucket, RI he was the son of the late Fred and Florence (Bateman) Darlington Sr. He resided in Cumberland for the past 70 years.
He was a foreman for New England Telephone, now Verizon for 40 years, retiring in 1990.
Mr. Darlington wasa US Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed on the USS Jallao Submarine for seven years.
He was a communicant of St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland.
Besides his beloved wife he leaves two sons, Fred Darlington III of Cumberland, David A. Darlington of North Kingstown, and one daughter Keri-Lyn Smith of Cumberland. One sister, Marjorie G. McGuire of Foster.
