Carmel L. (Bettez) Archambault, 87, of East Greenwich, passed away Sunday at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Ernest P. “Kit” Archambault.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Armand and Floreda (Giroux) Bettez.
Mrs. Archambault was a communicant of St. John and St. James Parish.
She was the beloved mother of Stephen P. Archambault and his wife Susan of West Warwick, Gail M. Mey and her husband George of Palm City, FL, Denise A. Larson and her husband Gordon of Tolland, CT and the late Robert E. Archambault.
Caring sister of Claire Archambault of Coventry, Pauline Salvatore of East Greenwich and the late Doris M. Bettez, Juliette B. Corrigan and Robert L. Bettez. Loving grandmother of Nathan Archambault, Caitlin Archambault, Stacey Souza, Lindsay Hanson and Alyssa Archambault.
Cherished great grandmother of Caiden Souza and Jack Hanson.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in SS John and James Parish Church, Washington Street, West Warwick.

Paula M. (Henry) Burns

Paula M. (Henry) Burns, 62, formerly of North Scituate, died peacefully at Riverview Health Care of Coventry on Friday, October 22, 2010.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Alice A. (Nester) Henry of Warwick and the late William R. Henry.
Ms. Burns was a Secretary for the Town of North Scituate for 15 years until her retirement in 2001.
She was a graduate of Pilgrim High School and Johnson & Wales University.
She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church of Warwick and the Gentian Garden Club.
Ms. Burns was a lover of animals and an avid horse woman.
Besides her mother, she leaves her sister, Barbara J. Brunner of Placida, FL, a nephew, William Brunner, two nieces: Beth Dion and Susan Farnum.
She was the Grand-Aunt of Erin and Laura Dion, Nicholas Brunner, Avery and Mia Farnum, and the late Grace Farnum.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Requiem Eucharist at 10:00 am in All Saints Episcopal Church, 111 Greenwich Avenue, Pontiac Village, Warwick.
Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Aline R. (Deschene) Deis

Aline R. (Deschene) Deis, 74, of Warwick passed away Monday at home.
Born in Brunswick, Maine, she was a daughter of the late William and Yvonne (Michaud) Deschene.
Ms. Deis was an Office Manager for Providence Y.M.C.A. for 17 years, retiring in 2000.
She was an avid reader and had a great sense of humor and wit.
She took great pride in caring for her family and was devoted to the care of her pets.
She was the beloved mother of Nancy L. Calenda and her husband Dr. Alexander Calenda of East Greenwich, Erica A. Deis-Colpus and her husband Derek of Bourne, MA and the late Deborah U. Deis.
Loving grandmother of Michele and Dominique Deis and Alexander III and Brandon Calenda.
Cherished great grandmother of Jack Davis Holmes.
Caring sister of Paul Deschene of Lewiston, Maine and the late Nancy Deschene.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick.
Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial cemetery, North Kingstown.

Hector Echevarria, 7, a student at Wakefield Hills Elementary, passed away Friday at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a beloved son of Carlos Echevarria and Luz Gonzalez.
Cherished brother of Carlos Echevarria and Brayden Valerio, both of West Warwick. Loving grandson of Francisca Jiminez and Carmen Solano, both of West Warwick.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation Thursday from 9:00am - 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph cemetery, West Greenwich.
Eleanor M. (Wilkinson) Hakanson-Andrews

Eleanor M. (Wilkinson) Hakanson-Andrews, 89, of Coventry, died peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Kent Hospital.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Wright Wilkinson and Jennie (Bell) Wilkinson.
She was the wife of the late Russell Andrews and Berthel H. Hakanson.
Mrs. Hakanson-Andrews was the Director of Head Start Program for the City of Warwick until her retirement.
She was a long time communicant of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and a dedicated member of N.A.R.F.E. where she served as Secretary of the chapter for many years.
She leaves her five children: Pamela H. McPhillips of Cranston, Carla Sue Waldt of Boyerstown, PA, Jill S. Turner of Coventry, John Wright Hakanson of Exeter and Jeffrey B. Hakanson of Coventry.
She was the Step-Mother of Scott Andrews of Coventry and Russell Andrews of New Hampshire.
She was the loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and the sister of the late Arlene Wagner.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 10:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95).
Burial will follow in All Saints cemetery, Warwick.

Charles E. Hull

Charles E. Hull, 83, of Cranston, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 20, 2010.
Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Earle D. Hull and Pearl (Daniels) Hull.
He was the loving husband of Barbara J. (Pickles) Hull and the late Helen R. (Galloway) Hull.
Mr. Hull was a Brewer for Narragansett Brewery until his retirement in 1988.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and earned his Sea Captain's license.
He was a member of the V.F.W. Post of Cranston.
Mr. Hull was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed cooking.
Besides his wife, he leaves his two daughters: Sharon A. Burr of Warwick and Susan R. Colantonio of Smithfield.
He was the father of the late Annlouise Hull and the brother of June Adie of Pensacola, FL.
Cherished grandfather of four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 11:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95).
Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service.
Burial with Military Honors will follow in The RI Veterans Memorial cemetery, Exeter.
Seraphina M. (Serpa) Johnson

Seraphina M. (Serpa) Johnson, 81, of Coventry passed away peacefully Saturday at Alpine Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in West Warwick, she was one of sixteen children born to the late Lionel and Frances (Simas) Serpa.
Ms. Johnson was a Lace Weaver for Concordia Manufacturing Co. in Coventry until her retirement in 1977.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
She was the beloved mother of Vincent P. Johnson, Patricia Sheridan and Fern Johnson, all of Coventry, Laurie Johnson of Johnston and the late Robert W. Johnson.
Loving grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of ten.
The funeral for Seraphina and her son Robert will be held Thursday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Maple Avenue, West Warwick.
Burial will follow in Notre Dame cemetery, West Warwick.
