ANNA S. FUSI

PAWTUCKET - Anna S. (Zuromski) Fusi, 94, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of the late E. James Fusi, they were married for 62 years.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Stanley D. and Sophia (Niechwiedowicz) Zuromski, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life.
Anna was a graduate of the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing where she received her LPN degree, she worked in the office of the late Bertrem Holdridge, MD, Broad St., Providence for seventeen years until retiring. She was a founding mother of St. Teresa Church, and a member of St. Teresa's Seniors where she held the positions of Secretary and Acting President.
She was also a volunteer at the Memorial Hospital for seventeen years.
She leaves a daughter, Carole Vessella and her husband, Frank; a sister, Jennie Morris; two brothers, John and Stanley Zuromski; ten grandchildren, Kimberley, Kathryn, James, Kristine, Mark, Lori, Lynn, Frank, Edward and Lisa; twenty-one great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Jean A. Anderson and an infant son, James Michael Fusi, and the sister of the late Agnes M. “Ida” DiCarlo and Stasia S. Regula. VISITATION will begin Saturday at 8 A.M. at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 will be appreciated.
MANUEL V. CARDOZA, JR.

CENTRAL FALLS- Manuel V. "VOOVOO" Cardoza Jr. 86, of Clay Street passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at his residence.
He was the beloved husband of Lucinda (Catarina) Cardoza.
Born in Madeira, Portugal he was a son of the late Manuel V. and Maria (Teixeira) Cardoza Sr.
He lived in Central Falls for most of his life.
Before retiring he was employed by the Washburn Wire and Cable Co. of East Providence for many years
Manny was a WWII Army Veteran serving in Europe as a Truck Driver with the 1286th Engineer Combat Battalion.
He was a Past President of Club Madeirense of Central Falls.
He was an avid fisherman.
Besides his wife he leaves his loving children Lucinda Martins, Theresa Moniz both of Central Falls, Bernadette Kelly and her husband Christopher of Cumberland and Albert Cardoza retired Central Falls Detective Lieutenant and his wife Karen of Cumberland.
He also leaves 6 devoted grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Manuel V. Cardoza III and the brother of the late Olinda De Barros and Theresa Becker.
Mr. Cardoza’s funeral will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland at 10:00 a.m.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.

Ronald J. Hanley

PAWTUCKET - Ronald J. Hanley, 77, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011.
Born in Providence, the son of the late Lester and Catherine (Carroll) Hanley, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life.
Ron was a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He was employed by the Carol Cable Company for many years until its closing.
Ron was an avid sports fan, he especially loved the St. Louis Cardinals.
He leaves a daughter, Sheryl J. Pandolfi; two sons, Steven R. Hanley and Christopher M. Hanley; his former wife, Susan Y. (Amaral) Vachon and three grandchildren all of Pawtucket.
Services with Military Honors will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will be at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
Visitation is omitted.

Yolande M. Lepine

PAWTUCKET - Yolande M. Lepine, "Betty", 86, of Pawtucket, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
She was the former wife of the late Alfred Lepine.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Josephat and Victoria(Robitaille) Laramee.
Mrs. Lepine was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
Yolande was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church in Pawtucket and attended school there as well.
She served as a parish Den mother and Boy Scout leader for many years.
She is survived by her 4 children; Mrs. Mary Rose Abbott of Pawtucket, Albert J. Lepine and his wife Ingrid of Auburn, Me., Connie Barekman and her life partner, Richard Pearson of Providence, and Michael Lepine and his wife Angela of Greene, ME, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Laramee.
She was the mother-in-law of the late John Abbott.
She was the sister of the late Fauvette Choiniere, Roland, Claude and Bernard Laramee.
The funeral will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10AM from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in Saint Cecilia Church, Central Avenue Pawtucket.
Relatives and friends are invited.
Visiting hours Friday 4-8pm. Burial will be private.
Rose E. Bonacorsi

PAWTUCKET - Rose E. Bonacorsi, 93, of Dover Street, Pawtucket died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late Alfred Bonacorsi.
Mrs. Bonacorsi was born in Pawtucket the daughter of Julio and Maria (Vanni)Scarpetti.
She worked in a supervisory role at Rhode Island Textiles for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie "Sis" Emond, with whom she made her home, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by a son, Richard Bonacorsi.
The funeral for Mrs. Bonacorsi will be Thursday at 10:30 AM from The MANNING HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME at 68 Broadway, Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket to which relatives and friends are invited.
The calling hours will be Wednesday 4-7 p.m.
Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence RI.
Margaret L. Blake

LOS ANGELES - Margaret L. Blake, 96, passed away on November 10, 2011.
Margaret was born on December 19, 1914 in Central Falls R.I.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mary (Clavin) Blake, her sister Mary Hainey, and her brothers Charles, Raymond, Joseph, and Richard Blake.
She was the beloved baby sister of the Blake family.
Margaret grew up in Central Falls, R.I. and attended Holy Trinity School and Pawtucket Business School.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Arnold's Bakery.
In 1951 she and her friend Rose Delisle moved to Los Angeles.
She loved her adopted city and worked for Bank of America and Los Angeles County.
Margaret will always be remembered as a sweet lady with lots of energy.
She loved to make people laugh.
She is survived by her nephew and his wife, Frank and Joan Hainey of Fallbrook, CA.
She will be missed dearly.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 2216 Fargo St., Los Angeles on November 17, 2011.
Maria Andrews

CUMBERLAND - Maria Andrews, 86, of 55 Hunter Drive, passed away Saturday at Home and Hospice Care of RI, Providence.
She was the wife of the late Albert F. Andrews.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Aguiar) Costa.
Mrs. Andrews resided in Cumberland for over 40 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.
She was a communicant of St. Aidan Church.
She leaves her daughter, Sharon Waugh and her husband Dennis, as well as her son, Michael Andrews, all of Cumberland.
She also leaves one sister, Lydia Costa; one grandson, Keith Waugh both of Cumberland, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Ronald Andrews, and sister of the late Genevieve DeSaint.
A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland.
Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
Visiting Hours will be held Tuesday, 4-8 PM.

PAWTUCKET - E. Claire Roy Beaucage, formerly of Benjamin Street, Pawtucket died Friday, November 11, 2011.
She was the wife of the late Edward A. Beaucage.
Mrs. Beaucage was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Arthur and Emma (Shabbott) Roy.
She was an Executive Secretary for the Pawtucket Mutual Insurance Company for over 40 years before she retired in 1987.
She is survived by her cousin, Connie Randall of Pawtucket.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Beaucage on Tuesday November 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Our lady Queen of Martyr Church, Coyle Drive Seekonk Ma.
Her burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
The calling hours for Mrs. Beaucage will be Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.

Joaquim Gomes

PAWTUCKET - Joaquim Gomes, 84, passed away Thursday at Home & Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence after an illness.
He was the husband of the late Maria "Julia" Gomes.
He was born Guarda, Portugal and migrated to the US 41 years ago.
He had been employed at Slater Dye Works for more than 30 years.
He leaves a daughter, Maria Barbosa of Pawtucket, 2 sons, Manuel Gomes of Pawtucket and Antonio Gomes of No. Providence and 6 Grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Joseph Gomes.
His Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Charles Coelho Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Pine St. Pawtucket at 10am. Visitation, Monday, 6 until 8 pm.
Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Yvonne R. Turgeon

LINCOLN - Yvonne R. Turgeon, 91, of Lincoln, formerly of Attleboro and Cumberland, died Saturday at The Holiday Retirement Center.
She was the wife of the late Leo Z. (Jack) Turgeon. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Noel and Mary Ann (Brouillette) Benoit.
She is survived by her son Robert and his wife Florence Turgeon of Manville, her daughters Nancy and her husband James Carroll of Stratford CT, and Janet Turgeon of Cumberland, grandchildren Jason Carroll and his wife Robin of VA, Jamie Carroll of CT and Justin Carroll and his wife Elissa of CT, and great grandson Joel Carroll of Virginia.
She was the sister of the late Henry Benoit, Ida Lacasse and Dora Livesey.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Cumberland and served on the Altar Society and many of the church sponsored committees for many years.
During her life she was an avid bowler on the Lincoln Lanes League and loved to work in her garden.
A special thank you to the doctors nurses of Pawtucket Memorial Hospital 6th floor Wood Bldg. who cared for her during her recent illness, and for all the staff of the Holiday Retirement Ctr. for the love and support they provided her during the last two years of her life.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home,1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-8 pm.
