PAWTUCKET - Claire R. (Bebeau) Rancourt, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Antoine G. Rancourt,together they had celebrated 50 years of marriage. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Blanche E. (St. Germain) Bebeau.
Claire was an avid bowler and card player. She was also a volunteer at the Community Food Pantry, Benefit St., Pawtucket and was actively involved with the RIARC, Blackstone Valley Chapter.
She leaves four children, Rita J. Rancourt, Paul E. and his wife, Lu-Ann Rancourt, George P. Rancourt all of Pawtucket, and Dennis R. and his wife, Sherry Rancourt of St. Petersburg, Florida; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and was the great-grandmother of the late Shane M. Rancourt. Claire also leaves a sister, Helen Viens of Pawtucket. She was the sister of the late Edward and George Bebeau and Irene Grossi.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITATION Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to RIARC Blackstone Valley Center, 115 Manton St., Pawtucket, RI 02861will be appreciated.

Lucille T. Coutu

CENTRAL FALLS - Lucille T. Coutu, 85, passed December 26th with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Central Falls Fire Chief Robert A. Coutu.
She was a daughter of the late Charles and Alphonsine (Levesque) Hall.
She had been employed by the Central Falls School Department before retiring.
Lucille was an avid gardener and enjoyed Tai Chi and spending time with her children.
She is survived by a son, Denis Coutu and his wife Susan of North Providence, three daughters, Paulette Larocque and her husband Gary of Glocester, Michelle Lavergne and her husband Richard of Central Falls, and Lisa Williams and her husband Keith of Lincoln, 9 grandchildren, 2 two great grandchildren and her daughter in law, Denise Coutu of Lincoln. She was the mother of the late Chief Rene R. Coutu, CFFD.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish (St. Matthew Church), Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8pm. Roger Gamache

CUMBERLAND - Roger Gamache, 77, of Mt. St. Rita's Health Care Centre, Cumberland, died Sunday at his residence where he lived for the past 5 years. Born October 13, 1934 in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Ralph and Marion (Plouffe) Martin Gamache.
He was a graduate of Pawtucket East High School. He had been employed by Greystone, Inc. for 10 years. He had previously been employed by Healthtex, Inc. for 29 years.
He is survived by his brother Norman C. Martin of Cumberland and 6 nieces and nephews. He was the longtime companion of the late Carol Matera and the brother of the late Gerald Martin, Yvette Gianni and Georgette Rocha. He enjoyed watching sports, dancing and traveling.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Mt. St. Rita's Chapel, 15 Sumner Brown Rd., Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery,Cumberland. Visitation at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln will be from 9:00 am-10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. St. Rita's Health Care Centre or St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Greenville, RI.

Cathy E. Alves

CUMBERLAND - Cathy E. Alves, 55 of Eddy Street, passed away Monday in R.I. Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Sebastiao M. Alves.
Born in Columbia, SC., she was the daughter of the late Luther and Mary (Frier) Drawdy Jr. Mrs. Alves resided in Cumberland most of her life.
She was employed as a CNA for Access Home Health Care of East Providence.
Beside her husband she leaves one daughter Lisa Passano of South Carolina and one son Michael Passano of Cumberland. Four sisters, Diane Reed; Barbara Tidwell; Brenda Gantt and Deborah Jefferson all of South Carolina and three brothers, Roger Drawdy; Marvin Drawdy and Donald Drawdy all of South Carolina, three grandchildren Jeremy, Emily and Dylan Correia and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Wednesday 4 to 8 PM.

Mary A. Sobral

PAWTUCKET - Mary A. Sobral, of Naples Florida and Pawtucket died December 16, 2011 in Florida. She was the wife of Daniel D. Sobral Sr.
Mrs. Sobral was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Jose Costa and Anna(Torres) Costa. She was an assembler for the Fram Corporation for many years.
Besides her husband she leaves a son, Daniel D. Sobral Jr, of Pawtucket and her brother Roy Costa of Pawtucket. She was the sister of the late Joaquim and Jose Costa.
The funeral for Mrs. Sobral will be Thursday, December 29, at 9:00 a.m. from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony's Church, lawn Avenue, Pawtucket at 10: 00 a.m. Her burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. The calling hours will be Wednesday, December 28, from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home

Margaret M. Kelly

PAWTUCKET - Margaret "Margie" M. (Kaveny) Kelly, 94, of Pond Street, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold B. Kelly. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Julia (McCabe) Kaveny. Margie had worked as a nanny for the Douglas family for many years and more recently as a School Lunch Aid at both Jenks Jr. High School and Tolman High School in Pawtucket.
Margie leaves two sons David H. Kelly and his wife Debra, and John P. Kelly all of Pawtucket; a brother John and his wife Maryann Kaveny of Pawtucket, and two grandchildren, Kayla and Bailey Kelly. She was the sister of the late Francis Kaveny and J.Regina Kaveny.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITATION Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m.

Antonio L. DaSilva

CUMBRLAND - Antonio L. DaSilva, 92, died Tuesday in the Philip Hulitar Center,Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Emilia (DaNave) DaSilva.
Born in Meridia,Portugal he was the son of the late Manuel Lopes DaSilva and Maria (Ferreira) DaSilva. He resided in Cumberland for over 50 years.
He was a construction worker until his retirement having worked for various Rhode Island area firms.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and a member of the Clube Juventude Lusitana, Cumberland.
He leaves a son Armand DaSilva and a brother Jose Lopes both of Cumberland. Mr. DaSilva also leaves three grandchildren, Ashley, Corey and Courtney DaSilva all of Cumberland. He was the brother of the late Piedade Lopes and Olinda Ferreira.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr., Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1185 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.

Louis V. Pezzi

PAWTUCKET - Louis V. Pezzi, 74, longtime educator and sports coach, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011. The beloved husband of Jacqueline M. (Champoux) Pezzi, they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2012.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Louis A. and Mary(Romano) Pezzi. Lou served in the United States Marine Corps. A graduate of Providence College, he was a teacher at Shea High School as well as a soccer and tennis coach for many years until retiring. Lou enjoyed golfing and was an avid Yankee fan.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Michael T. Pezzi and his fiancee, Elizabeth Pavlick; two granddaughters, Lauren and Erin; a brother, Kenneth R. Pezzi and his granddog, Dunkin'.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.Interment will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITATION Monday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Food Pantry at Blessed Pope John Paul II Parish, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 will be appreciated.

Lucille Dianna Smith

CUMBERLAND - Lucille Dianna (Gasse) Smith, 76, formerly of Canning Street, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the Orchard View Nursing Home, East Providence. She was the wife of Gerald Dusablon.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Eva (Lepire) Gasse. She resided in Providence for the past five years, previously residing in Cumberland.
Mrs. Smith was employed as a Navy Line Worker for Texas Instruments for over 15 years until her retirement.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
Besides her husband, leaves three sons, James Smith of Pawtucket, Michael Smith of Central Falls and David Smith; one daughter, Susan Departhy of Crossville, TN; one sister, Connie Johnson of Attleboro; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 8 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Maureen F. Marcil
December 22, 2011

ARIZONA - Maureen F. Marcil, 63, of Peoria, AZ passed away December 20, 2011 in Peoria, AZ.
Maureen was born in Central Falls, RI and resided in East Providence, RI. She was employed by Karew Manufacturing in Bristol, RI, prior to moving to AZ, where she has resided for the past 17 years. Maureen is survived by her Husband Charles, her mother Dorothy Allen, Brothers; Richard and James Squires, Sisters; Patricia Thibert, Judith Hall and Janice LaBlanc along with many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Francis Squires.
Maureen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Arizona, 19820 N. 7th Ave., #130, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
