Normand R. Breton

PAWTUCKET. Normand R. Breton, 83, formerly of Doyle Manor, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010. He was the husband of Irene G. (Fanning) Breton.
He was born in Fall River, MA. a son of the late Joseph and Eugenia (Berube) Breton. He lived most of his life in Pawtucket and had been employed as a plasterer for many years.
Besides his wife, he leaves 2 daughters, Kathleen Antaya of Providence and Donna Helwig of Pawtucket; 2 sons Larry Breton of No. Carolina and David Breton of West Springfield,MA. He also leaves a sister Loretta Splaine of East Hampton, MA and 10 Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 12 Noon in the CHARLES COELHO Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday morning prior to the service, from 10 AM.
Clifford R. Bloomer

LINCOLN: Clifford, R. Bloomer died October 26, 2010 at the Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Clarice T. Bloomer for 60 years. Born in Central Falls on December 13, 1930, he lived most of his life in Lincoln. He was the son of the late William and Alice Bloomer. Cliff attended Central Falls High School, played football there and graduated in 1949. He then joined the Navy during the Korean War. He worked in the wire business most of his life retiring from Boston Insulated Wire in 1995. He was a member of the E.L. Freeman Masonic Lodge and was a past patron of the Electa Chapter of the Eastern Star. Cliff also sang in the choir of Christ Church, Lonsdale for 20 years and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church when he passed. He played cribbage all over the State of RI and organized the cribbage card night at the Washington Hills Apartments.
Besides his loving wife he leaves 3 daughters, Nancy and her husband Bill Nixon of Woonsocket, Jane and her husband Ronald Letourneau of Woodstock, CT, Carol Bloomer Quinn of Harrisville and close friends of the family Maureen Distler & her son of Mount Pleasant, SC, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, his sisters, Emma Martel of CT and Dorothy Lawrence of FL, and a brother, Enoch of Coventry and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Alice Procter and William Bloomer.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. John's Episcopal Church, Mendon Rd, Cumberland at 10am followed by burial with Military Honors in the RI Veteran's Cemetery in Exeter.
Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Thursday from 5-8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.

PAWTUCKET Leo L. Dery, 83, a retired carpenter, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. He was the beloved husband of the late Vivian C. (Bilodeau) Dery. Born in Northampton, MA, a son of the late Hubert A. and Marie (Beaudoin) Dery, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life. Leo served with the Seabees in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a longtime member and former deacon at the Darlington Congregational Church. Leo was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He leaves a son, Ronald L. Dery and his wife Kathleen of Danielson, CT; two daughters, Patricia A. Ellsworth and Bernice C. Hemond and her husband William all of Pawtucket; two sisters, Theresa Faford of Pawtucket and Sister Rose de St. Pierre of Queens, NY; three brothers, Nick Dery of PA, Gerard Dery of CA and Robert Dery of Warwick; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Paul L., John L. and Mark Dery and the brother of the late Roland, George, Paul, Roger and Rene Dery. His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Services at 11 a.m. in the Darlington Congregational Church, 685 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m.

NEW HAMPSHIRE - Gladys Gregory, 86 of South Merrimack died Sunday, October 24 at Southern NH Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Pawtucket, RI on March 24, 1924 the youngest daughter of John and Esther (Lonsdale) Hardy.She was predeceased by brothers Hartley and Joseph and sister Mary.
Gladys was the widow of Stewart H. Gregory, Sr. who she married on January 19, 1945. He died on August 19, 2006.
Gladys loved her family, daughters Susan Wright and husband Winfield of Wilton Center, Sheryl Gregory-Wier and husband James of Greenfield, Shary Isabelle and husband Robert of Merrimack and son Stewart H. Gregory Jr. and wife Deborah of Cape Coral FL. Her five grandchildren are Alison Wright, Gregory Isabelle, Jacob Isabelle, Shannon Gregory-Dempsey and her husband Thomas and Stewart Gregory III and his wife Allison. She had one great grandson, Ian Dempsey.
Besides spending time with her family, Gladys loved working on the Milford Oval at Wright Fashions and Stickney's. She enjoyed sewing and needlepoint.
There will be no visiting hours.Services are private. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to St. Jude's or a charity of one's choice.

PAWTUCKET- Rita E. Kalafarski 86, of Pawtucket passed away Tuesday October 26, 2010. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Kalafarski.
Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Julia (Plata) Niezgoda. She was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
Before retiring in 1990 she was the Executive Secretary to the Director of the City of Pawtucket Planning & Development.
Rita was very active in the Church of the Holy Cross in Central Falls. She was a past president and current recording secretary of the Ladies Adoration Society, sang in the church choir and served on the Parish Committee. She loved to travel, but equally enjoyed being home tending to her garden or dominating in Jeopardy. Mostly she will be remembered by family and friends for her love of her Polish Heritage and by using her renowned cooking skills to assure family members always stayed in touch.
Mrs. Kalafarski is survived by three children, a daughter Paula R. of Pawtucket, son Edward P. and his wife Christina of North Attleboro, MA and David E. his wife Linda of Cumberland, RI. She is also survived by four grandchildren who had always meant the world to her, Laura, Edward, Andrew and Christopher.
Her funeral will be held Friday October 29, 2010 at 8:30 AM from the Karol A.Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian burial in The Church of The Holy Cross 320 High Street Central Falls. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS THURSDAY FROM 4:00 PM TO 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery Seekonk.

CANADA - Antonio Rodrigues Inacio, 81, of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, passed away at home on Friday, October 15, 2010. Born in Vila Franca da Serra, Portugal, the son of the late Manuel R. Inacio and Rosa J. Fernandes, he settled in Canada over 54 years ago. He leaves a sister, Maria C. Mendes and her husband Alfredo of Pawtucket; a nephew, Alfred Mendes and his wife Kathy of Seekonk; a niece, Elizabeth Mendes of California and two great-nephews, Alec and Adam Mendes.
VISITATION will be Thursday 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery.

PAWTUCKET: Janis "Cookie" (Donovan) Gomes, 56, formerly of Johnston, passed October 24, 2010.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James and Jeannette Donovan.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky and Stacy Gaudiana, both of Johnston, a granddaughter, Tianna Escobar, a companion, Moe Lottinville, a brother, William Donovan, and a sister, Candi DeSanti, both of Tennessee.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5-7pm followed by a prayer service at 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
Beulah C. Anderson

PAWTUCKET - Beulah C. Anderson, 97, a retired secretary and licensed practical nurse died Saturday October 23, 2010. She was a resident of the United Methodist Retirement Center.
Beulah was the wife of the late Russell Anderson. They had been married for sixty-seven years. She was the daughter of the late Arthur William and Anna Jane Caldwell, and was born in Providence, but lived in Pawtucket for most of her life. She moved to East Providence in 1996.
Beulah was a member of Park Place Congregational Church for almost seventy years. She belonged to the Harley Circle and Women's Guild, and was one of the first Brownie Troop leaders. She and her husband worked on all boards and committees of their church. They also had the youth group and were Deacons of the church.
Mrs. Anderson graduated from the Rhode Island School of Practical Nursing and was a volunteer for the Navy Community Support Service, the Blood Bank, and the Red Cross. She volunteered for the Memorial Hospital of R.I. for many years and was a private nurse for the late Mrs. William Harty.
She was loved by all her friends. Beulah had a loving and giving heart; she loved to laugh, had incredible energy, and gave generously to those things that meant a great deal to her.
Beulah was a sixty-five year member of the Queen Esther Chapter #2 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Since 1989 she has been a member of the Pawtucket Congregational Church.
She leaves her three godchildren, Lynn Usher of Pawtucket, Carl Rupprecht and Sally Vinroot, both of Virginia.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11am at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL 160 River Rd. Lincoln. Burial will be in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory to the United Methodist Retirement Center, 30 Alexander St. East Providence, RI 02914 would be appreciated.

PAWTUCKET - Irondina (Torres) Pacheco, 89, passed on October 22, 2010. She was the wife of the late ILdeberto Pacheco.
She is survived by a son, Luis Pacheco of North Smithfield, three daughters, Lidia Arruda of Pawtucket, Manuela Soares of Fall River and Ana Fox of Michigan, 20 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Joseph Pacheco, Francelina M. Soares, ILdeberto C. Pacheco.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maria Goretti Church, 165 Power Rd, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Relatives and friends are invited, visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 5-7pm.

PAWTUCKET: Arnaldo Lima, 72, passed October 23, 2010 at the Memorial Hospital. Born in S. Vicente, Cape Verde, a son of the late Martinho Santos and Francisca Lima. He resided in Pawtucket since 1989.
Arnaldo is survived by three sons, Teodorico, Dario and Nilton Lima, three daughters, Filomina, Liliana and Natalina and fifteen grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday fro 6-9pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
Nancy Lynn Grace

Nancy Lynn Grace, 47 of Laurier Avenue, South Attleboro died Saturday at her home. She was the wife of Gary J. Grace to whom she was married for 20 years, and friends for 34 years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Herbert T. Walters and of Bertha (Davy) Walters-Bourgault and her husband Ronald Bourgault of Pawtucket. She had lived in South Attleboro for over 22 years.
She is also survived by one sister, Debra Durant of Plymouth, MA, two brothers Robert Gilbert of Smithfield and David Gilbert of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews and a best friend Joann Stojek of Pawtucket. She was predeceased by a brother Michael Walters.
She enjoyed spending her free time in her cabin she built in Maine with her husband and her Beagle, Hunter.
A funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the CHEETHAM MORTUARY INC., 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket with a Requiem Eucharist in the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepard, 490 Broadway, Pawtucket at 10:00 AM.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4-8 PM in the funeral home.

PAWTUCKET - Mary F. Rego, 59, of Pawtucket died Thursday at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket.Mary was the wife of the late Fernando P. Rego. Born in the Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Jose G. and Gualdina (DoRego) Pereira. She lived most of her life in Pawtucket.
Before retiring in 2008, Mary worked in the textile business at International Packaging in Pawtucket for 28 years.
Mary is survived by her children; Paul Rego of Cumberland and Sandy Rego-Faford of Woonsocket; a brother, Jose Pereira of Pawtucket; four sisters, Alda Pereira of Canada, Minda Leite of North Providence, Tina Ferreira of South Attleboro and Maria Silva of Seekonk; two grandchildren, Sabrina Rego and Alex Faford of Woonsocket and two step grandchildren, Rui and Andrew DaSilva of Cumberland.
Her Funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 A.M. from the LACHAPELLE FUNERAL HOME 643 Main St. Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, Walcott Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 A.M. Family and friends are invited to attend. Her life will be celebrated with calling hours on Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
