PAWTUCKET - Henriqueta L. Barbosa, 65, of Pawtucket died October 30, 2010. She was the wife of Luis A. Barbosa. Mrs. Barbosa was born in Brava, Cape Verde a daughter of the late Amancio C. and Benvinda (Ledo) Barbosa. She came to this country 32 years ago settling in East Providence before moving to Pawtucket. Besides her husband she is survived by 5 children Toni Vale of Pawt., John Barbosa of North Prov., Inez Barbosa of Dorchester, MA, Ana and Flora Barbosa both of Central Falls. 2 brothers Joao Ledo of Florida and Henrique N. Barbosa of Portugal 3 sisters Teresa Barbosa of Italy, Dalila Burgo of East Prov. and Dulce Tavares of Pawt. 10 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 8:30am from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church High St. Pawtucket.Calling Hours Monday 5-9pm. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Georgina Lawrence

CUMBERLAND - Georgina Lawrence, 95, of High St. died Saturday in the Grandview Nursing Home, Cumberland. She was the beloved wife of the late Joaquim "Jack" Lawrence Sr.
Born in New Bedford she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Maria (Sousa) Martin. She resided in Cumberland for the past 52 years.
Mrs. Lawrence was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland.
She leaves three loving children, Joseph Lawrence of Englewood, FL; Helena Isadore and Joaquim "Jack" Lawrence Jr. both of Cumberland. She also leaves a sister, Sarah Stefanik and two brothers, Alfred and Jerome Martin all of Cumberland. She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was also the sister of the late Neva, Manuel, Anthony, Edward Abel, Irene Martin and Anna Fonte and Adeline McCaffrey.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Jose L. Quinones-DeGros

PAWTUCKET. Jose L. Quinones-DeGros, 48, passed away on Friday surrounded by his family after an illness. He was the husband of Gale Gaines.
He was born In Ponce, Puerto Rico a son of the late Jose J, Quinones and Clara V. DeGros. He moved to Brooklyn as a child and later to Harford, Ct. and has resided in Rhode Island for the last 25 years. He had been employed as a pastry chef for the Gregg's Restaurant chain for several years before his illness forced retirement. Besides his wife he leaves, 3 sons, Jose L. DeGrosand Joseph L. DegRos both of Pawtucket and Jose Luis DeGros of Ct. 6 daughters, Tara Lynn DeGros, Tania Marie Degros and Linsey DeGros all of Ct., Josephine M. DeGros and Amanda Gaines both of Pawtucket and Camelia DeGros of No. Carolina. He also leaves 3 sisters, Miriam Quinones and Pastor Isabel Rivera of NH, and Monserate Quinones of Pawtucket and numerous nieces and nephews.
VISITATION, Monday evening, 6-8 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 8 PM.

Frank R. Madonna

PAWTUCKET - Frank R. Madonna, 74, of Lake St, Pawtucket died Saturday, October 30, 2010.
He was the husband of Selma (David) Madonna. They spent 51 beautiful years together.
Mr. Madonna was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Frank and Marie (Giuliotti) Madonna. He was an iron worker at the former Newman Crosby for many years.
Mr. Madonna was a United States Navy Veteran, a member of the Italian Dramatic Club in Pawtucket, an enthusiastic hunter on trips to Prudence Island and cherished his peaceful time in Florida.
Besides his wife Mr. Madonna leaves his children, Sharon A. Marques, Mary E. Madonna, and Frank R. Madonna Jr., all of Pawtucket. He is also survived by his sister Esther Cambria of Florida and his grandchildren, Jennifer Marques, David Marques, and Seth Madonna-Skarpos.
The funeral for Mr. Madonna will be Thursday at 9:00am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, Walcott St. Pawtucket at 10:00am. His burial will be with full military honors in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery. The calling hours for Mr. Madonna will be Wednesday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association, Development Department, 27001 Agoura Rd, Calabasas Hills CA, 91301 in Mr. Madonna's memory.

Roland Benjamin

PAWTUCKET - Roland Benjamin, 91, of Pawtucket, died Friday at the Briarcliff Manor. He was the husband of Beatrice (Patenaude) Benjamin. Born in Pawtucket and a resident of the city since 1976, he was the son of the late Edward and Lorina (Grenier) Benjamin.
He was employed as a warehouse man for 30 years at Electric Boat in Quonset Point. He was a communicant of St. Cecilia Church in Pawtucket. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Navy in the submarine division.
Survivors are one son, Robert Benjamin of Narragansett and three grandsons, Adam Benjamin of Florida, Zachary Benjamin of West Virginia and Christopher Benjamin of Fall River, a daughter-in-law, Jacqueline MacGregor of Fall River; a sister, Florence Nicolo and two great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Roland J. Benjamin and the brother of the late Edward Benjamin and Jeannette Magnan.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Special Olympics would be appreciated.

Celine M. Girouard

BRISTOL - Celine M. Girouard, 92, died Friay at St. Elizabeth Home in Bristol. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmond Girouard. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Adelard and Aglae (Poulin) Tetreault, she had resided in Warren since 1983 and previously in Pawtucket. Prior to retirement in 1983, she had been employed for 40 years at R.I. Textile and other local braid shops.
She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline (Charles) Herzig of Swansea and was the sister of the late Hector Tetreault. She was a member of the St. Anne Sodality of the former Notre Dame Church in Central Falls.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Matthew Church (part of Holy Spirit Catholic Community) 1030 Dexter Street, Central Falls. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket.

Raymond E. Dube

SOUTH ATTLEBORO - Raymond E. Dube, 88, passed October 30, 2010 at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Gertrude (Corneau) Dube. They have been married for 17 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph E. and Naomi S.(Angers) Dube.
He had been employed by the Foxboro Company for many years retiring in 1985
Besides his wife he is survived by a niece, Rhonda Jewitt and he became a beloved member of Gertrude's family.He was the brother of the late Blanche Viens.
Raymond and his wife were members of the Royal Travelers
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a funeral mass in St. Theresa Church, Baltic Ave, South Attleboro at 10am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8pm.

Barbara F. Trombley

PAWTUCKET - Barbara F. "Bobby" Trombley, 78, of Annie Street died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Eugene A. and Eva M. (McCaughey) Trombley.
Miss Trombley was a secretary at Fram Corporation, East Providence before retiring.
She was a good sister, aunt, nana and friend.
She is survived by one sister, Hazel Walsh of Mobile, AL; many nieces and nephews including Pamela Bradley, John W. Bradley and his wife Amy, Joanne Parker and the late Jacqueline Walsh; and several great nieces and great nephews including Lily, Boston, Cole and Madison. She was the sister of the late Geraldine Bradley, Eugene J. and Francis Trombley.
A Memorial Mass will be held MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8 at 10 A.M. in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.

George P. Anderson

PAWTUCKET - George P. Anderson, 84, of Pawtucket has passed away. He was the son of the late Gustavus A. and Margit (Johannesen) Anderson, the brother of the late Ralph A. Anderson, and the husband of the late Mabel Mason Anderson. He is survived by two children, Jon M. Anderson and Jane L. Anderson, both of Pawtucket, and a cousin, Sally Foss, of Columbia, New Hampshire.
Mr. Anderson was a graduate of Pawtucket East High School. Upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Army Infantry, serving in combat in Europe during World War II. Mr. Anderson received the Bronze Star and rose to the level of staff sergeant. He later attained the rank of second lieutenant in the Army Reserve.
After the war, Mr. Anderson graduated from Brown University with a degree in mathematics. Mr. Anderson worked as a research engineer for Brown University for twenty-six years before he established his own electronic circuit design business. He was awarded a patent for developing the technology that uses microwaves to control traffic signals.
Mr. Anderson was active in the Pawtucket community. He served as the chairman of the Project Area Committee East Riverview, the advisory board for urban renewal in his neighborhood. Mr. Anderson was the scoutmaster of Troop 24, Boy Scouts of America,for almost twenty-five years and was Scoutmaster of the year in 1991. He was elected to represent District 77 at the 1986 State Constitutional Convention. Mr. Anderson participated in many political campaigns, including those of his wife.
Calling hours for Mr. Anderson will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Burial will be private. Dorothy R. Giannini

NORTH PROVIDENCE Dorothy R. Giannini, 85, formerly of North Providence, died Thursday, October 28, 2010. She was the wife of the late Charles Giannini.
Mrs. Giannini was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Romeo and Marion Bourque. She worked for the former Fram Corporation for many years.
Mrs. Giannini is survived by her three sons, Charles Giannini, Raymond Giannini and Roger Giannini. She also leaves her brother Richard Bourque, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was the sister of the late Roger Bourque.
The funeral for Mrs. Giannini will be Monday, November 1, at 9:00am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Vianney Church, 3587 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland at 10:00am. Her burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. The calling hours for Mrs. Giannini will be Sunday 2-5pm in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited.

PAWTUCKET - Tracey Ann Delauder, 42, of Goff Avenue died Thursday at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island.
Born in Attleboro, Ma, she was the daughter of Myra Richards of Lady Lake, FL and the late Wesley DeLauder.
Surviving besides her mother she leaves a long time companion, Daniel Mooney also a paternal Grandmother, Florence DeLauder of Pawtucket and several Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved maternal Grandmother Barbara Kitchen. Tracey's funeral will be private.

Dorothy H. Warcup

PAWTUCKET - Dorothy H. Warcup, 86, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Walter W. and Evelyn(Simmons) Warcup. Miss Warcup was employed by the Douglas Young Box Company, Pawtucket for 21 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Darlington Congregational Church. Miss Warcup leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Evelyn Carney, James Warcup, Victor Warcup, Margaret Slight, Lillian Grandidge and Grace Klepsak. VISITATION will be Monday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Services at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the Darlington Congregational Church, 685 Central Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 would be appreciated.
