G. Arline (Delaney) Costigan formerly of Pawtucket passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012. She was the wife of the late William W. Costigan. She was an inspector for the Fram Corporation for many years.

Julia J. “Judy” McKnight, 96, formerly of Melrose Avenue, Pawtucket passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012. She was the wife of the late Charles “Chic” McKnight.

PAWTUCKET- Edward Dyson Jr, "Eddy" 49, passed Thursday at home.
He was the son of Edward Dyson Sr, and the late Barbara (Handy) Dyson. He had been employed by the Wrentham State Developmental Center for many years.
He is survived by a daughter, Nichol Dyson Hill of Indiana, two sons, Branden and Tyler Dyson, a brother, Thomas Paquette, five sisters, Mary Dyson Burt, Deborah, Trish, Misty, and Georgia Dyson and two grandchildren. He was the former husband of Sheri Dyson. He was the brother of the late Frederick Paquette.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 6-8 pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private in St. James Cemetery, Lincoln.
Josephine Green

SEEKONK- Josephine (Vendentullo) Green, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Clayton V. Green.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Antonio and Concetta (Primiano) Vendentullo, she resided in Seekonk over fifty years.
Josephine was a sales clerk at the Miriam Hospital Gift Shop for fifteen years until retiring in 1998, and was previously an inspector at the J. C. Hall Company, Pawtucket for many years. She enjoyed playing cards.
Josephine leaves her daughter, Deborah T. West and her husband, Stephen with whom she made her home; a granddaughter, Kristin E. West of Seekonk and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Katherine DiNuccio and Victoria Andreozzi.
VISITATION will begin Monday at 7:30 a.m. at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., East Providence. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Please omit flowers, memorial gifts to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915 or your local animal shelter will be appreciated.

PAWTUCKET- Helen Lewandowski (Stryker) formerly of George St. passed away Sunday April 8, 2012 at Steere House in Providence after a prolonged illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Lewandowski Sr.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Strycharz) Stryker. She was a life long resident of Pawtucket.
Before retiring Helen was employed as an Assembler for the former Union Wadding Co. She was a member of St. Josephs Church Holy Rosary Society and served as a volunteer at the Leon A. Mathieus Senior Center in Pawtucket for 20 years.
She leaves one daughter Mary Lou Lefebvre and her husband Gerard of Cumberland and one son Anthony J. Lewandowski Jr. and his wife Eileen of Pawtucket, two half sisters Jean Olson of Brockton, MA and Nellie Grzesik of Dearborn Heights, MI, five grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Chester T. Lewandowski.
Her funeral will be held Monday April 16, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High St. Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High St. Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. CALLING HOURS MONDAY FROM 8:00 AM TO 9:30 AM. CENTAL FALLS- Rhea J. Sylvestre-Lee, 91, died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Donat O. Sylvestre and the late Roland J. Lee.
Mrs. Sylvestre-Lee was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Frederick and Rosealba (Lamontagne) Boucher. She was a lifelong Blackstone Valley resident.
She was a homemaker and also the president of the former R.J. Lee Real Estate in Pawtucket. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia Church and a member of its choir for many years. She also sang with the Cumberland Lincoln Chorus, the Central Falls Senior Chorus and was a former vice-president of the Senior Center of Central Falls.
She leaves her children Claire (Domenick) Fabrizio of Cumberland, Janet (Thomas) Thompson of Severn, MD, Russell (Therese) Sylvestre of Warren, RI and Roger (Betty) Sylvestre of Colebrook, NH, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert, Harvey, Leo and Edmond Boucher and the late Irene Hoyle, Anita Lamarre, and Florence Hey.
The funeral will be held from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket on Friday, April 13th at 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Cecilia's Church, Central Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours in the funeral home on Thursday, April 12th from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Philip Hulitar Center or Rhode Island Right to Life would be appreciated.

CUMBERLAND- Ann (Chodorowski) Winiarski,96, formerly of Mendon Road, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in the Emerald Bay Manor, Cumberland surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John Winiarski.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Constantine and Margaret (Lapiniak) Chodorowski.
She resided in Cumberland for the past 58 years, previously residing in Woonocket.
Mrs. Winiarski was employed as a Tester Packer for the former Miller Electric Co, for many years before retiring in 1982. She previously was employed by the former French Worsted Co. for a number of years.
Ann was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church. She loved arts, crafts and needle work.
She leaves her daughter, Carol Ragno and her husband Robert of Cumberland and her granddaughter Melanie also of Cumberland and several nieces and
nephews. She also leaves a sister Stella Dangelo of Friutland Park, FL and was also the sister of the late Michael Chodorowski.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Friday from 3 to 7 p.m.

PAWTUCKET- Debra A. Costa, 53, passed April 10, 2012. She was the wife of Perdo A. Costa. They have been married for 17 years.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of Candelaria A. (Almarez) Beaton of Pawtucket.
She had been employed as a CNA for 20 years.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by three sisters and two brothers.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 6 to 8pm.

PROVIDENCE- Andrew W. McFarlane, 67, passed unexpectedly April 8th at the Miriam Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was born in New London, CT, a son of the late Hubert McFarlane and Isabelle (LaCharite) McFarlane.
He is survived by a daughter, NoneaJean McFarlane, a son, Andrew W. McFarlane Jr, a brother, Bradley McFarlane and a granddaughter, Nadia Elise McFarlane. Funeral Services will be private.

PROVIDENCE- Correia, Francelina L., age 87, of Albert Avenue, died April 9, 2012 at Evergreen House Health Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Jose D. Correia.
Born in Povolide, Viseu, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio L. and Leopoldina (de Jesus) dos Santos. She resided in Pawtucket before moving to Rumford 12 years ago.
She is survived by her children Maria Oliveira of Rumford, Antonio and Americo Correia both of Pawtucket, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Jose A, Lopes, Joao L. and Manuel A. Santos
Her funeral will begin on Friday at 9 am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am in St. Anthony's Church, 32 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday 5-8 pm.

CUMBERLAND - Dorothy M. (Polsey) Wells, 96, of Meadowcrest Drive died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Trinity Health & Rehabilitation Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late William A. Wells, Jr.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Sylvanus E. and Asenath (Wright) Polsey, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life before moving to Cumberland 12 years ago.
She was a 1933 graduate of Pawtucket High School and was active in several sports. She served on the Class Reunion Committee for many years. She also attended classes at Brown University.
She was a member of St. Paul's Church, Pawtucket and the former Trinity Episcopal Church, where she was a vestry member and parish clerk for many years.
She was a 50-year member of Queen Esther Chapter #2, Order of the Eastern Star, Pawtucket, where she served as Worthy Matron in 1968 and 1979. She was Grand Martha of the Grand Chapter O.E.S. in Rhode Island in 1969 and Grand Marshall in 1976.
She was a charter member of Pawtucket Assembly #217, Social Order of the Beauceants, serving as Treasurer for many years and as President in 1970.
She was a member, a past Board member and Past President of Blackstone Valley Chapter #619, AARP and a member of Pawtucket Chapter #1192, AARP.
She was an active member of GFWC Pawtucket Woman's Club since 1984 and the Friday Fellowship of Pawtucket Congregational Church.
She retired in 1984 from Cooley, Inc. where she had worked for 41 years, the last 22 years as Credit Manager.
She was an active sports enthusiast and had actively participated in several sports including tennis and baseball.
She traveled the world extensively and enjoyed reading, gardening, crafts, the beach and doing puzzles.
She is survived by one son, William A. Wells, III of Wilmington, NC; one daughter, Suzanne L. Schabowski and her husband, Stephen of Cumberland; two grandchildren, Kristen S. O'Hearn of Cumberland and Mark S. Schabowski and his wife, Maryann of Ocala, FL; two great grandchildren, Samantha L. and Robert Schabowski; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Evelyn A. Hunt, Sylvanus E. "Dan" Polsey, Jr. and Henry W. Polsey.
Her funeral will be held FRIDAY, APRIL 13 at 9:30 A.M. in BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Inurnment will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
