Juvenala Bisordi

CUMBERLAND- Juvenala Bisordi, "Judy" 86, passed February 23rd. She was the wife of Edward "Fred" Bisordi. They have been married for 61 years.
Judy had been employed by Heathtex for 20 years before retiring in 1988.
Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Robert Bisordi of Smithfield, Michael Bisordi of Cumberland and David Bisordi of Warwick.
Two sisters, Deolinda Medeiros and Maria Souza, 4 granddaughters, Tina Gamache, Briana, Desiree and Emily Bisordi. She was the sister of the late Zulmira Delpivo.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3 to 5pm. Kathryn R. Breault

PAWTUCKET- Kathryn R. Breault, 74, of Anthony Avenue, Pawtucket died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at home after a three year courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Louis Breault.
Mrs. Breault was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Martin and Ceceila (Coyne) O'Brien. She was employed by the Pawtucket School Department for many years.
Mrs. Breault was the secretary for the Parish Council at St. Jean-Baptiste Parish in Pawtucket as well as the Past President of the Women's Guild there.
She was a former secretary for the Non Teaching Local of Pawtucket. Mrs. Breault was an avid dog lover and will be dearly missed by Millie. Besides her husband Mrs. Breault is survived by her children, Michael Breault of Pawtucket and Michelle Campbell of West Hartford CT. She also leaves three grandsons, David, Jacob and Joshua, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Martin O'Brien and Janet Landry.
The funeral for Mrs. Breault will be Tuesday, February 28, at 9:00 a.m. from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Marys Church, Pine Street Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. Her burial will be in Mt. St. Marys Cemetery. The calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Patricia Lee Short, 66, of Lincoln, died Sunday, April 21, 2013. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Mildred (Dolan) Connors of Cranston and the late James Connors.
Patricia was a graduate of Northeastern University Class of 1967. She was employed as an X-Ray technician for Radiation Oncology Associates of Providence until her retirement.
Her sons Joshua M. Short of Lincoln and Zachary L. Short of Tampa, Florida and cousins survive her. She was the sister of the late James "Jimmie" Connors.
Calling hours are on Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln followed by a Prayer Service at 1:00 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's memory to the Alzheimer's Association of R.I., 245 Waterman St., Suite 206, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
Joseph Leo Riendeau

Joseph Leo Riendeau, 78, of Lincoln, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at home. He was the husband of Claire (Brochu) Riendeau for 57 years. Born in Berlin, New Hampshire, he was a son of the late Arthur and Aurore (Lauzon) Riendeau. He was a graduate of Johnson & Wales.
Before retiring Mr. Riendeau was a personnel specialist for the 4th Brigade 76th division. He put in a total of 42 years in the military services and retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. He was a parishioner and Eucharistic minister of Historic St. Joseph Church, Cumberland and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Besides his wife he leaves a son David Riendeau and two daughters Linda Serabian and Lynn Correia all of Lincoln; his brothers Albert of Pawtucket and Sylvio of Texas; his sister Helen Bacon and her husband Leo of Cumberland; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Omer and Roland Riendeau.
His funeral will be held on Monday, April 29th at 8:30 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Sunday from 3-7 pm.

Mary M. Vecoli, 91, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013. She was the wife of the late Guido Vecoli Jr. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Edward J. and Josephine (Hannon) Fay.
Mrs. Vecoli was employed for the State of RI School Lunch Program until her retirement.
Her sons Donald T. Vecoli of Florida and David B. Vecoli of Lincoln; her brother Edward J. Fay of Texas; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren survive her. She was the sister of the late Bernice Lilley and Vera Tellier.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:15 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation will be from 8:30 am – 9:15 am on Monday.

Charles W. Dalton

Charles W. Dalton, 78, of Warwick, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Mary (Almeida) Dalton. Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late William J. and Mary (Munroe) Dalton.
Mr. Dalton was a union electrician and a member of IBEW Local #99 until his retirement.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons Michael Dalton of Jamestown, step-sons Alan Graves of Lincoln and Brian Graves of Pompano, FL; daughters Mary Bethune of Martinez, GA, Charlene M. Senna of Swansea, MA and Elizabeth Neto of Seekonk, MA; his brother William Dalton of Florida; sister Maureen Millerick of Somerset, MA; 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 8:30 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk, MA. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours are Friday from 5-8 pm.

Walter Partridge, Jr.

Walter Partridge, Jr., 89, of Bristol, died Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Rhode Island Veterans Home. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Walter and Rose (Wood) Partridge. He was the brother of the late Grace Partridge Seccareccia.
When WWII broke out, Walter was so eager to serve his country that he walked in a blizzard to Providence to enlist at age 18. He is a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran having served with the 84th Station Complement Squadron.
Walter was known to his family and friends as "Bud". He enjoyed visiting with his family, especially his niece Nancy who made him laugh. Bud also enjoyed outings by the ocean and swimming. He had a passion for seafood, Hershey bars, and John Wayne western movies.
He is survived by his sisters Esther Lenihan of East Providence and Ruth Mros of Livermore, CA, his nieces Karen Sylvia of Barrington, Patricia McDevitt of Jamestwon, Nancy Lenihan of Newport, his nephew Michael Seccareccia of New York City and several great nieces and nephews.
Prayers will be offered in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Mendon Road, Cumberland on Thursday at 11:45 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow.

Joan C. Newman, 65, of Seekonk and Rehoboth, MA died Sunday, May 19, 2013. She was the beloved wife of George H. Newman, Jr.
She was employed as a Controller for Precision Harley-Davison until her retirement in 2011.
She is also survived by her daughters, Kimberly Santos and Dawn Marie Costa both of Seekonk, MA and Danielle Araujo of Attleboro, MA, her grandchildren Andrew, Kathleen and Rebecca Santos, Nathan Costa and Kyle and Cassidy Araujo and her beloved dog, "Lady."
Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 24th at 9:30 am in the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln. Calling hours are Thursday evening from 5-8pm.

Dorothy Mary (Keenan) Chute

Dorothy Mary (Keenan) Chute, 86, passed way on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Mt. St. Rita's Health Center in Cumberland after a long illness. She was born on January 11, 1927 to the late Patrick James Keenan of Killyleagh, County Down, Northern Ireland and Susan Veronica (Berry) Keenan of Pawtucket, RI.
Dorothy graduated from Pawtucket High School, now William E. Tolman Senior High School. In 1950, she married Christopher Edward Chute and had four children – Elizabeth Ann Brais (Chute) of Lincoln, RI, Christopher Gregory Chute of Rochester, MN, Mary Susan Chute-O'Meara of Bowie, MD, and Kathleen Ellen Chute of Cumberland, RI.
She is survived by her four children, a niece, Patricia Jarrett (Keenan) and nephew Michael Keenan, and 9 grandchildren: Elizabeth Christin Brais, Jessica Alexandra Chute, Alexander Patrick O'Meara, Michael George Brais, Ian David Chute, Christopher Liam O'Meara, Elizabeth Maura O'Meara, Sarah Elizabeth Brais, and Kathleen Rose O'Meara.
Mrs. Chute resided in Pawtucket and Lincoln, RI and Bloomfield, CT, and then returned to Lincoln. She worked for the Veterans Administration (where she met her future husband after WWII), Apex Department Store, and Pharmacare.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 23rd at St. Jude's Church, Lincoln, RI. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, May 22nd at Lincoln Funeral home form 5pm to 8pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in her name to Mt. St. Rita's Health Center, 15 Sumner Brown Road, Cumberland, RI 02864.
Flore I. Fontaine

Flore I. Fontaine, 97, formerly of Central Falls, died Monday, May 20, 2013 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Oliva and Rosanna (Berard) Fontaine.
Miss Fontaine had been employed as a supervisor for Moore Fabric Co. until her retirement in 1975.
She was a communicant of St. Mathiew Church prior to moving first to the Villa at St. Antoine and then to the residence. She had been a member of the Children of Mary, and the Golden Agers of St. Matthew, St. Cecilia and Notre Dame Churches.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Wilfrid and Albert Fontaine, Aldea Moreau, Eva Dulude, Sr. Rhea Fontaine SSA and Cecile Ross.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:00 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Holy Spirit Parish (St. Matthew). Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Friday evening from 5-7pm.

Sophie Rutkowski

Sophie Rutkowski, 95, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, October 25th at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, W. Warwick with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Kazemir Rutkowski. Born in Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (Machnek) Setera.
Mrs. Rutkowski was employed by the Lonsdale Manufacturing Co. prior to her marriage. She was later employed as an assembler for Hasbro Manufacturing Co.
She was an active member of the Lincoln Senior Center for over 25 years. An avid Boston Celtics fan, she also enjoyed music and Bingo.
She is survived by her daughters JoAnn Silva of Wakefield and Debra DuBreuil of Rumford; brother Matthew Setera of Cumberland; sisters Stacia Minior of E. Hartford, CT and Adele Swiatkowski of CA; and 4 grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Walter Setera and Genevieve Meistrell.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at11:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 391 High St., Central Falls. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation is Thursday morning prior to the funeral from 9-10 am.
