PAWTUCKET - Eva M. (Houle) Hebert, 102, of Pawtucket, passed away Sunday January 1, 2012. She was the wife of the late Henry Hebert. Born in Canada, she was a daughter of the late Godfrey and Celendee (Beaudry) Houle. She had been a line worker with American. She is survived by two sons, Normand Hebert of Pawtucket and Rene Hebert of Newport, NC; six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was a sister of the late Amanda Genest, Alice Forget, Oliver Houle, George Houle, John Houle, Ellen Vaillencourt and Armand Houle.

PAWTUCKET - Mary S. Lamoureux, 82, of Norton Street, Pawtucket died Saturday, December 31, 2011. She was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Ardron Pete Wilbur and Mary Hughes.
Mrs. Lamoureux was a ward secretary for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Providence for many years.
She is survived by her children, James P. Massei and Linda M. (Massei) Roberts, both of Pawtucket.
She also leaves her grandchildren. James D. Massei and Matthew A. Viegas and her great grandchildren, Skylah, Mercedes, and Cameri.

FLORIDA - Mary "Molly" T. Monahan, 88, of Englewood, FL passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012.
She was born on January 30, 1923 in Glasgow, Scotland to John and Sarah (Hannan)Mullan.
Molly moved to Florida in 1986 from Rumford, RI. She was a loving, wife, mother and home maker. Mrs. Monahan was a Communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Grove City, FL; a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Women's Guild, FISH and the Rhode Island Mothers of Twins Club.
Luisa R. Silva
CUMBERLAND- Luisa R. Silva (Viriato), 95, of Duke Rd. passed away Sunday in the Oakland Grove Health Care Center, Woonsocket.
Born in St. Michael, Azores she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Margarida (da Silva) Viriato.
She came to this country settling in Central Falls and has resided in Cumberland for the past 21 years.
She was employed by the Monet Jewelry Co., Pawtucket for a number of years until her retirement. She was also a communicant or Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland.
She leaves seven children, Natalia Fontes; Maria Melo; Maria Andrade and Michael Andrade all of Cumberland, Maria Pimentel and Antonio Andrade both of North Providence and Alfredo Andrade of Central Falls. Mrs. Silva also leaves 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at 7:45a.m. from the J. J.. Duffy
Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 8:45
a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

PAWTUCKET- Mackevie, Doreen E., 89, a long time Pawtucket resident died Saturday at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late John E. Mackevie whom she met during World War II while he was an officer in the US Army stationed in England.
Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Coombes) Chant.
Doreen worked in Pawtucket with her late husband in their family businesses West Ave. Pharmacy and later Pawtucket Ave. Pharmacy. She was the beloved mother of Nancy J. Tyler of Warwick and Betty A. McMahon of Pawtucket and the devoted grandmother of Joseph R. Marsella, Lynn M. Wong, Brian J. and Randy J. McMahon. She also leaves 7 great grandchildren. One of 10 children, she leaves a brother Gordon Chant of the United Kingdom.
The family will receive friends Tuesday beginning at 8:30 am in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral home 230 Waterman St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Mary's Church, Pine St., Pawtucket at 10am.
Burial will be in Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

PAWTUCKET- James "Jim" A. Rouillier, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February, 10, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Annette (Panarello) Rouillier.
Jim served as a patrolman for the Pawtucket Police Department for 22 years until his retirement in 1995, and was a member of the FOP, Lodge # 4, Cedar St., Pawtucket.
Jim enjoyed playing golf, fishing and taking leisurely walks with his wife Annette. He was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a fan of the rock bands, U2 and AC/DC.
Besides his loving wife, Jim leaves a son, Michael E. Hammond of Pawtucket.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Flowers are respectfully omitted.

Leo C. Cooney, 89, of East Providence, died Feb. 6, 2012.
Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Elizabeth A. (McCaffrey)
Cooney, he had lived in Cumberland most of his life. Mr. Cooney was employed as an Administrative Technician for the Dept. of Defense USAR for 30 years. He retired in 1972. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of the Retired Federal Employees Chapter #13 and the VFW Post #274 Israel Couture Post.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late James J., Joseph S., William J., John T. and Edward J. Cooney, Dorothy A. Ribeiro, Mary Cooney Challis and Margaret P. Cooney.
His funeral will begin at 9:15 amon Wednesday from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph), Walcott St., Pawtucket. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours will be from 8:30 to 9:15 am.

PAWTUCKET- Claire S. (LaPorte) Riendeau, 75, died at home while in the care of her loving family on February 12, 2012.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Gabrielle LaPorte and the wife of Raymond Riendeau.
Claire was a transcriptionist at the Community Counseling Center, Pawtucket, for ten years until retiring in 2000. She was an enthusiastic and long time member of the St. Cecilia Church Choir, and enjoyed singing with the Blackstone Valley Community Singers.
Claire was the loving and caring mother of six children, Paul Riendeau and wife Suzanne, daughter, Diane Riendeau and four other sons, David and wife Stacey, Joel Riendeau, Richard and wife Yuhong and Daniel and wife Cristina. She also felt blessed with seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Claire cherished all of her grandchildren and played an important role in their development. She was never happier than when she held a child in her arms.
She is also survived by her brothers Richard LaPorte and wife Ronda of Skowhegan, Maine and Reverend Paul LaPorte of Pawtucket in addition to their children.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the St. Cecilia Church Choir.

CENTRAL FALLS - Jose I. DaSilva, 73, of High Street died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Maria (Maciel) DaSilva.
Born in Faial, The Azores, a son of the late Jose Manuel and Palmiera (DaSilva) Viera, he had lived in Pawtucket most of his life and had also lived in Attleboro, MA before moving to Central Falls 1 year ago.
Mr. DaSilva was a machine operator at American Insulated Wire Company, Pawtucket for 27 years before retiring in 2009.
He was a member of Club Juventude Luzitania, Cumberland.
Besides his wife, he is survived by six sons, Joe Silva and Gil DaSilva, both of Seekonk, MA, Luis DaSilva of Rehoboth, MA, Helio and Nelson DaSilva, both of Pawtucket and Steven DaSilva of Woonsocket; four daughters, Maria Barbosa and Martha Correia, both of Cumberland, Marlene Davis of East Providence and Andrea Ware of Rehoboth, MA; fourteen grandchildren; and two great grandsons.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13 at 9:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Burial will be in Seekonk Cemetery, Seekonk, MA.

LINCOLN - Theresa A. Allen, formerly of Franklin St. Lincoln died Thursday at the Holiday Nursing Home, Manville. She was the wife of the late William M. Allen. She was born in Pawtucket a daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Boulais) Paquin. She lived in Pawtucket most of her life and moved to Lincoln in 1979.
She is survived by one son, William M. Allen and his wife Janice of Seekonk Mass. A daughter Judith A. Bellavance and her husband Richard of Jenson Beach FL. One brother Lionel Paquin of Port Charlotte FL. Four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Monday ay 9am from the Lachapelle Funeral Home, 643 Main Street, Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, Slater Street, Pawtucket at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours Sunday 2-5 pm. CENTRAL FALLS - Mary R. Molak, 84 died on Thursday (Feb. 10) in Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late John James Molak. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Melia) Foran, she had been a resident of the Blackstone Valley most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are two sons: Robert (Susan) Molak of Warwick, and John J. (Pamela) Molak, Jr. of Orlando, FL; one sister: Claire Gamache and two brothers: Walter and Edward Foran; 2 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Monday (Feb. 13) at 9:00 AM from the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket followed by committal service at approximately 11:00 AM in the R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail (Route 2) Exeter, RI. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Sunday (Feb. 12) from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Those who wish may make a donation in her memory to the American Cancer Society.

PAWTUCKET - David "Chef" J. Rousseau, 57, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 9, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Denise V. (Pond) Rousseau for twenty-one years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of Grace H. (McLean) Rousseau of Pawtucket and the late Oscar J. Rousseau.
Dave was the proprietor of the former Absolute Catering, Pawtucket, for twenty years before becoming a chef for the RI State Police Academy; he was most recently the chef at Sigma Pi Fraternity at URI. He loved his family, his dogs, cooking, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves three children, Sara J. Lesperance of Pawtucket and her fiance, Jeremy Conti, Dana P. Lesperance and his wife, Hillary of Lincoln, and Noel C. Lesperance of Pawtucket and her boyfriend, Michael Sarazin; a granddaughter, Grace H. Lesperance; two sisters, Jan Bouvier of East Providence and Karen Wims of Myrtle Beach, SC and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at11 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
