He and Germaine, his wife of 60 years, lived at this address for 54 years and raised two sons, Andre E. Pincince of Woonsocket and John G. Pincince of Lincolnville, Maine. He was born in 1927 to Hector and Vitaline Pincince. He was a proud Marine who served at the end of World War II in the Occupation of Japan. For his entire life he was a man who could not sit still for very long. His work ethic and sense of responsibility for his family was, and will always be, inspirational. Although he officially retired in 1989 from the Fenwal Corporation where he was a machine operator, he never stopped working. He always kept himself busy and gainfully employed. He loved working for himself and was often seen driving his pick-up truck through town, American flag waving from the antenna. He also was generous with his time and energy, helping his sons, nephews, granddaughters and others whenever there was a need for a strong back and his truck. He gave his blood at almost every St. Joseph’s Veterans blood drive. He also passed the collection basket at St. Joseph’s Church for more than 40 years. When neighbors became ill or widowed, he would put their trash out and shovel their driveways in winter. One of his greatest pleasures was driving. He loved the freedom of the road and especially loved going to Quebec, where he would take people from this area to visit with his many relatives there with whom he loved to share his many jokes and stories and greatly enjoyed their music. He is survived by his wife Germaine; his brother Edward; sons Andre and John; granddaughters Lisa Shawyer, Jennifer Spearman, and Elizabeth Pincince; and great-grandchildren, Kodie Spearman, Nathan Pincince, Katelyn Pincince and Sarah Christian Shawyer.
