Lincoln – Leona M. (Sauve) Miles, 92, of Kilburn Avenue died peacefully Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the home of her granddaughter in Lincoln. She was the beloved wife of the late T. Arthur Miles.
Born in Detroit, MI, a daughter of the late Richard and Emma (Larsh) Sauve, she had lived in Lincoln for over 58 years.
Mrs. Miles was a communicant of St. Jude's Church, Lincoln, where she was instrumental in making baptismal bibs, and also butterflies for the Mass at Easter.
She was a corporator of the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket.
She is survived by one son, David A. Miles of Rumford; two grandchildren, Philip D. Miles and Sybil L. Miles-Castellone, both of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicole and Lauren Garcia, and Ian and Ashley Miles; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard Sauve, Dorothy Dolan, Anna Fitcher and Sr. Rella Sauve, O.P.
Her funeral will be held TUESDAY, AUGUST 19 at 9 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Jude's Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be private.

Donald M. Leach

Pawtucket – Donald M. Leach, 79, formerly of Campbell Street died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Longmeadow of Taunton, Taunton, MA. He was the husband of the late Helen F. (White) Leach.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late J. Milton and Mildred (Slocum) Leach, he had lived in Pawtucket and Cumberland for most of his life.
Mr. Leach was a cloth designer for Cadillac Textiles, Cumberland for 35 years before retiring. He attended the Rhode Island School of Design.
A Korean War Army veteran, he was a member of Cumberland Post #14, American Legion, Cumberland.
He is survived by one daughter, Debra A. Benjamin of Taunton, MA; one son, Donald M. Leach, Jr. of Pawtucket; four sisters, Mildred Johnson of North Attleboro, MA, Betty Cassidy of Providence, Dorothy Corry of Cumberland and Mary Ann Soave of Smithfield; three brothers, William Leach of South Attleboro, MA, James and Robert Leach, both of Cumberland; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held MONDAY, AUGUST 18 at 10 A.M. at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial, with military honors, will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.

Granville T. Watson, Sr.

Lincoln – Granville T. "Chick" Watson, Sr., 89, of Chestnut Avenue surrounded by his family passed away peacefully on August 9, 2008. He was the loving and caring husband of the late Dorothy A. (Cotter) Watson celebrating 58 years of marriage together.
Born in Lincoln, a son of the late Granville and Emma (Parkinson) Watson, he had lived in Lincoln all of his life except for the past two years when he lived with his son's family in Riverside.
He retired in 1983 after 35 years with the former Providence Gas Company working as a meter reader.
He served proudly as a World War II veteran attached with the 118th Medical Battalion in the South Pacific. He arrived there in 1942 at Vanuato Island on the USS Coolidge which sank when it hit a mine.
He was a communicant of St. Jude's Church, Lincoln and St. Brendan's Church, Riverside.
He liked an evening of dancing with "Dot" and their friends. He enjoyed golfing as a member of the White Eagles Golf League, bowling with the Hindley Bowling League, woodcarving with the Barrington Senior Center woodcarvers and was a lifelong fisherman.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia A. Cote and her husband, Michael of Smithfield; his son, Granville T. "Tom" Watson, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Riverside; and several nieces and nephews. He loved being "Grampa" or "Papa" to Greg, Jeff, Erica, Andrew, Matt, Sara and Grace. He was the brother of the late Edna Phetteplace.
His funeral will be held SATURDAY, AUGUST 16 at 8 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 A.M. in St. Jude's Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial, with military honors, will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

Lincoln – Robert D. Willett, 60, of Park Boulevard died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket.
Born in Pawtucket, the beloved son of Charles H. "Chick" Willett of Lincoln and the late Stella (Ben) Willett, he had lived in Lincoln for most of his life.
Mr. Willett was a driver of heavy equipment for the Town of Lincoln Public Works Department for the past 35 years.
Besides his father, he is survived by his uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
His funeral will be held SATURDAY, AUGUST 16 at 11 A.M. at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.

Lincoln – Douglas M. MacQueen, 88, of River Road died Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Clunan) MacQueen.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Matthew and Isabelle (Roberts) MacQueen, he had lived in Lincoln for the past 54 years.
Mr. MacQueen was a wire finisher for the former Collyer Insulated Wire Company, Lincoln for 42 years, retiring in 1982.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He was a member of the AARP, the Fairlawn Senior Citizens and the Central Falls Community Center.
He is survived by his daughter, Laurie S. Burke and her husband, James of Hudson, MA; one brother, John MacQueen, Sr. of West Palm Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William S. MacQueen and Allan R. MacQueen.
A Memorial Service will be held WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13 at 11 A.M. at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.

Lincoln – Margaret A. "Peg" (Ryan) MacKinnon, 82, of Reservoir Avenue died Thursday, August 7 at St. Clare's Home, Newport. She was the wife of the late Francis X. MacKinnon.
Born in Newport, a daughter of the late Matthew and Susan (Briody) Ryan, she had lived in Lincoln for the past 39 years.
Mrs. MacKinnon was a bookkeeper and secretary in the Lincoln School Department, starting at Fairlawn Elementary School and finishing at Lincoln High School after 27 years, retiring in 2000.
She was a communicant of St. Jude's Church, Lincoln.
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy A. Pates of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA, Maureen F. Smith of Lincoln and Kathleen MacKinnon of Fairbanks, AK; four sons, Francis X. MacKinnon, Jr. of Scituate, Alexander and Bryan MacKinnon, both of Lincoln and Kevin MacKinnon of North Providence; one sister, Alice Larsgar of New York; seven grandchildren; numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Susan Ryan, Florence Olynack, Rose Sullivan, Mary Quintanna, Kathleen Ryan and Matthew Ryan.
Her funeral will be held TUESDAY, AUGUST 12 at 8:45 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Jude's Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Columba's Cemetery, Middletown.

Harold C. Graham

Cumberland- Graham, Harold C. 86 of Liberty St. died Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Rosemary (Knott) Graham.
Born in Pawtucket a son of the late Charles W. and Henrietta (Crawshaw) Graham. He lived in Cumberland since 1954.
Mr. Graham was a jewelry toolmaker and designer for Swank Inc. for twenty-five years and also worked for A.T. Cross. He was a Past Master and fifty year member of the former Unity Lodge now St. John's Lodge #1 F&AM, Providence.
He served in the Navy during WWII and was awarded one Silver Star and two Bronze Stars.
Besides his wife he leaves one daughter Elizabeth A. Boudreau of Cumberland, one son David E. Graham of Cumberland and seven grandchildren.
A Requiem Eucharist will be held on Tuesday August 12th in Christ Church Lonsdale Ave. Lincoln at 11am. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
