Pawtucket – Robin L. (Bennett) Adam, 47, of Thornton Street, died Wednesday, July 16, at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. She was the wife of Raymond Adam.
Born in Providence, a daughter of Thomas Bennett of Bonita Springs, FL and the late Phyllis (Hilton) Bennett, she had lived in Pawtucket for over the last twenty years.
She was a hairdresser at Best Cuts, Woonsocket, and a member of Candleberry Chapel, Attleboro.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by her children, Amber Adam, Jennifer Adam, and Sean Parenteau, all of Pawtucket. She was the stepdaughter of Audrey Bennett of Bonita Springs, FL; the niece of Barbara Martin of Cranston, Betty and Fred Hilton of Cumberland, Raymond and Judy Hilton of Cumberland, Debbie & Jim Massei of Pawtucket, and Nancy and Jim Coffey of Grantham, N.H.; and the daughter-in-law of Patricia Manning of Pawtucket.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, July 19, at 12:30 p.m. in Candleberry Chapel, 381 South Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 5-7 p.m. at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln.

Elizabeth H. Poisson

Elizabeth H. (McCreadie) Poisson, 90, of Wake Robin Road died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at home. She was the wife of the late Camille E. Poisson.
Born in Scotland, a daughter of the late Martin B. McCreadie, Sr. and the late Helen (Hutcheson) McCreadie, she had lived in Smithfield for many years before moving to Lincoln 25 years ago.
Mrs. Poisson was an active member of the Washington Hills Tenants Association.
She was loved by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her sense of humor allowed her to live life to the fullest.
She is survived by her daughters, Joanne C. Yeomans and her husband, George of Rehoboth, MA and Madeleine Zuccala of Croton-on-Hudson, NY; her sons, Donald Poisson and Paul McLaughlin of Palm Springs, CA and Alan Poisson and his wife, Wendy of Longmeadow, MA; her grandchildren, Jolaine Monsch and her husband, Christian of Switzerland, Kaylene Sams and her husband, Garry of London, England and Matthew Poisson of Longmeadow, MA; her twin great granddaughters, Sienna and Carolina Monsch of Switzerland; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William McCreadie, David McCreadie, Martin B. McCreadie, Jr., Sarah Pouliot, Ellen Rosa and Mae Corbeille.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. in BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Poisson's memory to the Joseph J. David E. Roll

Lincoln – David E. Roll, 62, of Lord Fox Run died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Mary Anne (Hartney) Roll.
Born in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Urban and Irene (Walter) Roll, he had lived in Lincoln for the past 22 years.
Mr. Roll was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for H.L. Bouton, Inc, Wareham, MA.
He was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church, Albion.
Mr. Roll had served on the Lincoln Zoning Board and was a former commissioner of the Albion Fire District.
He was a member of Kirkbrae Country Club, Lincoln for over 20 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Karen H. Richards of Lincoln; his son, Mark D. Roll of San Diego, CA; his sister, Mary Ann Forman of East Amherst, NY; his granddaughter, Emma Richards of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held TUESDAY, JULY 8 at 11 A.M. in St. Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Albion.

Gary P. Paparo, MD

North Providence – Gary P. Paparo, MD, 90, of Nipmuc Trail died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at West View Health Center, West Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Luongo) Paparo.
Born in Brockton, MA, a son of the late Frank M. and Rose G. (Russo) Paparo, he had lived in Smithfield for over 30 years before moving to North Providence 7 years ago.
Dr. Paparo was a forensic pathologist for the Worcester County Medical Examiner's Office before his retirement in 1983. He later served as Acting Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Rhode Island for several years. He had also served as Medical Director at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket.
Dr. Paparo received his B.S. Degree and his Medical Degree from Boston University.
He was a Past President of the Rotary Club of Pawtucket, a Past President of the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket, and was a member of the To Kalon Club, Pawtucket.
Dr. Paparo served in the Army Medical Corps during World War II and stayed active in the Army Reserves retiring as a Lt. Colonel in 1960.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Gary D. Paparo, DMD of Chepachet and Stephen F. Paparo of Fort Salonga, Long Island, NY; one sister, Marietta Marchese of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Providence – Jeanie S. (Shankland) Kelly, 96, of Overhill Road died Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Oak Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Chester R. Kelly.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (McEwan) Shankland, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life before moving to Providence.
Mrs. Kelly was a payroll clerk and billing clerk at Brown & Sharpe, Royal Electric, Potter & Johnson and Cooley, Inc, Pawtucket retiring in 1972.
She was a 50-year member of Pawtucket Congregational Church, Pawtucket and a member of its Friday Fellowship. She was a member of Queen Esther Chapter #2, Order of the Eastern Star, Pawtucket and Hamilton House, Providence.
She is survived by her daughter, Joann K. Watson of Providence.

Naples, FL – Marilyn "Pat" (Patterson) Dudley, age 85, died peacefully SATURDAY, JULY 12, 2008 in Naples, Florida. She leaves her loving husband of 62 years Henry Marchant Dudley. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Rebecca (Bowen) Patterson.
She had lived in Barrington and then Bristol before permanently residing in Naples in 2005.
Pat graduated from Penn Hall Junior College in Chambersburg, PA in 1942 with a Degree in Home Economics. And after raising her four children, she devoted her time as a volunteer at Sophia Little Home, Bradley Hospital, Saint John's Episcopal Church, Meals on Wheels and Tap-In.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Peter and his wife, Debbie of Naples, FL and Stephen and his wife, Suthina of Los Angeles, CA; one daughter, Sue D. Broomhead and her husband, Lloyd of Seekonk, MA. Her daughter, Paula Tagiuri predeceased her in February 2008.
She also leaves six grandchildren, Sarah Wayne (husband Kerry) and Leah Ritchey (husband John), both of Naples, FL, Ana Tagiuri of Cambridge, MA, and Wai, Henry and Nora Dudley of Los Angeles, CA; two great granddaughters, Katelyn and Allison Wayne of Naples, FL; one niece, Barbara Patterson Clancy of Riverside; and one nephew, Robert W. Patterson of Warren. She was the sister of the late Richmond Patterson.

Miss Sims was a secretary at Harvard Business School for 20 years from 1944-64 and later was a legal secretary for Hinckley & Allen for 7 years, retiring in 1971.
Miss Sims was a 1944 graduate of Simmons College.
She was a member of Blithewold Mansion Gardens, Bristol, the Friends of oceanography, PSVP and the Narragansett Bay Wheelmen.
She leaves no immediate survivors.

William E. Farrell

North Providence – William E. Farrell, 95, of Smithfield Road and formerly of Goff Avenue, Pawtucket died Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Hopkins Manor, North Providence. He was the husband of Lillian M. (Burns) Farrell.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Michael J. and Elizabeth A. (Croshaw) Farrell, he had lived in Pawtucket all his life before moving to North Providence 4 years ago.
Mr. Farrell was a landscaper for various companies before retiring.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a POW, and he was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Pawtucket.
His wife is his only immediate survivor. He was the brother of the late Rita Horton, Joseph Farrell, Edward Farrell and Raymond Farrell.
