Aldora Marie Buebendorf, 99, died on June 17, 2009.
Aldora was a homemaker and weaver. She was the wife of the late Olier L. Frechette, Octave Therrien, and Charles Buebendorf.
She is survived by her son Armand Frechette, his wife Irene; three grandchildren, Christopher Frechette and his wife Margaret Lopez; Carlene Murray and her husband David and Catherine Healey and her husband Richard. Aldora had two great grandchildren, Sarah and Timothy Ringuette.
She was born in Woonsocket, RI on June 7, 1910, the daughter of the late Victoria and Ceril Proulx. She is predeceased by two brothers, David and Eugene Proulx and six sisters, Blanche Denault, Alice Fluette, Helen Miranda, Cecile Plante, Antoinette Mondeaux and Leona LaFleur.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI.
Calling hours are being omitted, the funeral will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Stephen’s Church, 253 South Main St, Attleboro, MA 02703.

Michael J. Sylvia, 59, of 250 Rand St, passed Tuesday at home.
Born in Pawtucket a son of Beatrice (Evans) Sylvia of Central Falls and the late Frank Sylvia.
He had been employed by area Textile Mills for many years before retiring do to illness. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Frank Sylvia of Charlestown, RI and Joseph Sylvia of Central Falls, a sister, Patricia Simonds of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, with a prayer service at 9am. Burial with Military Honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends invited.
Richard G. Piche

Richard G. Piche, 51, of Robert Drive passed away suddenly Friday, October 9th. He was the son of Rose Marie (Perry) and the late Donat J. Piche Sr.
Richard leaves a son, Shane Piche of North Providence and three brothers, Don, Dennis and Michael Piche. He was the brother of the late Robert Piche. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-8 pm from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln, RI. Burial will be private.

Bertha Healey

Bertha Healey, 82, of Centennial Towers, passed October 11th peacefully with her daughter by her side. She was the wife of the late Howard F. Healey.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Lafayette) Thorpe.
She had been employed by Monet Jewelry for many years before retiring in 1992; she had also worked for the former Moore Fabrics. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church, Pawtucket.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary E. Parker and her husband Raymond, two grandsons, Joseph and Brian Parker, a brother William Thorpe and his wife Karin, all of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Nightingale.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, Pine St, Pawtucket at 10am. Relatives and friends invited, Calling hours Thursday 6-8pm. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Antonio Goncalves, 60, of Lonsdale Ave, died Monday at the Fatima Hospital.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a son of the late Pedro and Maria Goncalves.
He has been employed at the RI School of Design for many years.
He is survived by two daughters, Maria Goncalves and Elizabeth Goncalves, both of Providence, a son, Pedro Goncalves of Pawtucket, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Eugenia Pires.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Relatives and friends invited, calling hours Friday 4-9pm. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Gladys H. (Cousins) Ferry

Gladys H. (Cousins) Ferry, 96, of Pawtucket died peacefully, Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Philip Hulitar Impatient Hospice Center, Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Ferry. Born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Naomi (Hare) Cousins. She retired in 1978 as a solderer for Trifari Krussman & Fishel, Inc in East Providence, RI.
She was a member of St. Raymond Church Leisure Group, RI Watercolor Society, and Hamilton House in Providence, RI. She enjoyed numerous travel experiences, especially to the Atlantic Provinces of Canada and her beloved Nova Scotia. As an avid crafter, she constructed many hand-worked pieces, as well as quilts and knitting projects.
Gladys was survived by daughters Mary Ann Fians (Joseph) of West Melbourne, FL, Stephanie Fians (Edward) of Trumbull, CT, Christine Frati of Pawtucket, RI, and Kathleen Bociek (John) of Cumberland, RI, as well as 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of deceased son, Edward J. Ferry, and sister of the late Olive Aiken, Blanche Covill, Marion Burgess, and George "Nelson" Cousins.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, October 19th at 8:45AM from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Raymond Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence, RI at 10AM followed by burial at St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI. Jeanne d'Arc "Joan" Maio

Jeanne d'Arc "Joan" Maio, 78, of Emmett St, passed peacefully October 17th. She was the wife of the late Patrick B. Maio.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Ernest and Rose Alma (LaSalle) Gazaille. She had been employed as an office worker for many years. In 1994, she retired from the former Bradbury's Pharmacy.
She was a member of the St Mathieu Woman's Club and from the fourth grade sang in their choir. She also sang in the St. Joseph Choir and was a member of the Hubert Chorale. Joan was a member of the St. Ann Society.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest D. Maio of Pawtucket and Philip P. Maio of Central Falls, a sister, Suzanne T. Byrnes of Lincoln and Texas, 3 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gisele Tanguay and Jean-Paul Gazaille.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Mathieu Church, Dexter St, Central Falls. Relatives and friends invited, calling hours Tuesday 4-7pm. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
