Yolande G. Lambert

Yolande G. Lambert, 96, of Lonsdale Ave, died Friday, December 19th, 2008 at Grandview Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Aime J. Lambert.
Born in Lowell, MA, a daughter of the late Leandre and Ernestine (Olivier) Frechette. She was a lifelong resident of Central Falls, residing the past 3 years at the Darlington Assisted Living Center.
She had been employed by the former J.P. Coats, Pawtucket Dress, Roland’s Spa and National Bakery.
Yolande was a dedicated lifelong communicant of St. Matthew Church where she had also been a lector, a member of the faith group, the past secretary of Ladies of St. Anne Sodality and the Golden Agers, at which time she had been named “Woman of the Year”.
She is survived by two sons, Aime A. Lambert and his companion, Jo-Ann Haynes of West Warwick, Paul G. Lambert and his wife, Linda of Pawtucket, a daughter, Laurette Bliven and her husband, William of Pascoag, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a great-great grandson. She was the sister of the late Lauretta I. Hockenhull, Theresa Rosenquist, Alphonse, Gerard, Olier and Wilfred Frechette and Rev. Armand Frechette, O.F.M.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Church, Dexter St, Central Falls at 11am. Relatives and friends invited, calling hours, Sunday 5-8pm. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Raymond T. Pratt

Raymond T. Pratt, 77, of Slater St, died Tuesday at the Roger Williams Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Marion (Mohler) Pratt.
He was the son of the late William and Mary Pratt.
He had been employed for many years by the Highway Dept. of the City of Pawtucket for many years before retiring.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Betty Palardy and her husband Robert of Pawtucket,
Six grandchildren, Debra Newton of Lincoln, Patricia DiSano, Tina Palardy, Betty Jo Palardy and Barbie Jo Gagnon all of Pawtucket and thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Robert Palardy Jr.
Calling hours will he held Saturday from 12 to 2pm with a service at 2pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
Nubia Amparo Ocampo

Nubia Amparo Ocampo, of Nellie St, died Sunday at home. She was the loving wife of Jose Ocampo. They have been married for 26 years.
Born in Colombia, migrating to the United States in 1982, she was a daughter of Maria Dolores Cano of Colombia. Nubia was an active member of the Catholic Community and performed many humanitarian services throughout her life. She attended CCRI receiving an associate’s degree in Social Services.
She had been employed by the Salvation Army for the past 15 years of her beautiful life.
Besides her husband and mother, she will be dearly missed by her son, Kevin Ocampo of Providence and a granddaughter, Arianna Ocampo.
Her funeral will be Thursday at 9:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Ave, Providence at 11am. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends invited, calling hours Wednesday 5-9pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Nubia A. William F. Carlin

William F. Carlin, 63, of Smithfield Ave, died Tuesday unexpectedly at home. He was the husband of Donna (Briand) Carlin. They have been married for 23 years.
Born in Attleboro, a son of Louise (Rodgers) Carlin whom William provided care for and the late Frederick Carlin.
He resided his married life in Pawtucket and formerly was a longtime Lincoln resident.
He had been employed by Costa Fruit and Produce for many years before retiring.
Besides his wife and Mother, he is survived by a son, Joseph Jamro of Fall River, MA and a daughter, Erika Ridout of Harrisburg, PA, a brother, David C. Carlin of Lincoln. two nieces, Debbie Carlin of Cumberland and Kelley Carlin of Melbourne, Florida. He was the father of the late William C. Carlin.

Ramiro Puerta

Ramiro Puerta, 55, of Lonsdale Ave, died Thursday at the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the husband of Fabiola Puerta.
Born in Colombia, a son of Bernarda Ardila Puerta of Colombia and the late Fernando Puerta.
He had been employed by the Prout School of Wakefield for ten years.
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by a daughter, Ludey Ivoni Puerta of Pawtucket and a son Juan Puerta of Central Falls. And a granddaughter, Shamadi Ortiz Ramiro was one of ten children. All his siblings reside in Colombia.

Teresa Arrendondo, 83, of Illinois St. Central Falls, died Thursday at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in the Domincan Republic, May 1, 1925, a daughter of the late Luis and Berminda (Rancier) Arredondo.
Teresa was a Communicant of Holy Spirit Catholic Community.
She is survived by a son, Bladimir Rodriguez of Lincoln, a daughter, Jeannette Cameron of Barrington, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Matthew Church, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends invited, calling hours will be held Saturday from 6-8pm and Sunday from 6-8pm.
Louis J. Kabbaze

Louis J. Kabbaze, 88, of 466 Hunt Street Central Falls passed away at Memorial Hospital on December 3rd. He was the husband of the late Catherine Kabbaze who pre-deceased him on 12/3/97. December 3rd was also Louis' mother's birthday.
Born in Central Falls the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Shenekgy) Kabbaze, he was a life long resident of Central Falls and attended school there. He served in the Merchant Marines and worked in the jewelry industry most of his life, retiring from Speidel Company in February 1982.
He is survived by his daughter, Carole Kelly of Pawtucket, two sisters Janet Chaisson of Pawtucket and Ann Chadwick of Central Falls, and two brothers Gabriel Kabbaze of Rumford and George Kabbaze of Central Falls. He was also the brother of the late Albert, Anthony and William Kabbaze.
Louis was a big sports fan enjoying boxing, football and horse racing, and spent many days at Twin River with simulcast racing. Louis loved his cat Dennis.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5-8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI. Burial will be private. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Church of St. Basil the Great at a later date.
